good universities a university that is

ranked five on this list may not be

definitively better than University

ranked three depending on the career

outcomes that you have and your

curriculum preferences so please don't

be a program that has some terrific

terrific starting salaries and Cal

growth in recent years I'm talking about

new B in terms of the brand it is

needless to say that there is one of the

finest University all across the world

it also has a brilliant location in the

B area which leads to a lot of wonderful

job opportunities overall Berkeley

typically prefers candidates with

slightly higher levels of work

experience exped usually upwards of 3

years and therefore the main median

starting salaries of students have also

been the highest among Mis programs UC

Berkeley's curriculum however is

slightly more technical as well and not

as management oriented as you would

however be sure that you like the at

number two stands a program that is

synonymous with mis now when anyone says

Mis the first name that comes to mind is

Kani melon it's an outstanding program

in all respects now Kani melon has

multiple iterations of the Mis programs

and a suspect that is because of the

demand among students and the number of

applications coming through they have

their Flagship 16 month track they have

the shorter 12- Monon program and they

have a slightly more technically

intensive program called the MAA which

is business intelligence and data Antics

now cm is an outstanding program in

terms of brand it's in a great location

and in terms of curriculum and the kind

of jobs you get it's terrific as well

however it's a highly heavy technical

program if you're looking at an Mis

degree to break into product management

while it is possible from Kani melon it

is not the most ideal choice because of

the sheer number of technical electives

you have to take but overall it's an

outstanding program and that's why it

stands number two on this list all right

at number three stands a university

which has a brilliant location and is a

favorite among aspiral product managers

the University of Washington has the

master of science and information

management program offered by the high

school the big standout at University of

Washington is the University's location

its location in Seattle makes it a hub

for recruiters such as Amazon and

Microsoft which have a tradition of

recruiting product Managers from this

specific program the University of

Washington also has two tracks it has an

early career track which takes pressures

by the way one of the only Mis programs

that takes pressures and of course it

has a shorter 12 month program which

takes in people with upwards of two or

three years of work experience both

these tracks are absolutely terrific and

because of the location it is an

outstanding program that you have to go

to and a very reputed University as well

Additionally the program is definitely

far more management heavy than technical

heavy therefore a wonderful choice for

aspiring project managers or product

managers out there at number four stands

another massive massive brand in the

rore universities and I'm talking about

the University of Texas at Austin the

msis program at University of t a also

has a significantly technical curriculum

and like berley has a general so people

it's likly more work experience in terms

of job opportunities it is outstanding

because of the brand of the university

and Austin is a terrific location to be

in therefore you're getting the best of

pretty much all worlds overall however

the curriculum again is slightly more on

the technically heavy side so be careful

about that when you're considering that

University now when anyone talks about

Indiana University and the Kenny School

of Business the first thing that comes

to most people's mind is their Mis

program it is an absolutely terrific

program which has been reporting

outstanding placement rates even in the

most difficult of job markets also keny

tends to work out cheaper than slightly

more expensive Mis programs like caring

the curriculum is a wonderful balance of

tech and management and therefore you

can balance it in any which way you

please and there's a lot of product

managers who go into the market from

this program making it an outstanding

choice for all you aspiring Tech

managers Indian also has a priority

deadline that you have to apply for by

the 1st of November which takes only

your resume therefore you have a much

better chance of Landing a dream admit

if you apply early so keep that in mind

when you're considering Mis programs and

the Briant Indiana University scary

School of Business at number six comes

one of my favorite universities overall

because of the brilliant return on

investment it offers among the top tier

universities there is seldom a more

compelling Financial case than Texas

andm and therefore the Texas

College stations Mis program is sitting

from number six on this list it is going

to cost you much much less than any

other program on this list even ones

that are R well below it and the

starting salaries are incredibly High

because of the reputation of the school

therefore Texas andm is an outstanding

program that you have to consider if

you're okay with technically heavly

curriculums also one more additional

bonus piece of information this program

requires a Wes evaluation as does Kani

men that has been mentioned earlier at

the list so budget for $160 to $200 you

have to spend on that if you're applying

to either of these programs if you're

willing to spend that amount both of

these programs are outstanding and Texas

A&M is perhaps the best Roi period on

this list at number seven comes a

university that is so underrated among

Indian candidates the University of

Marland at College Park is a highly

highly reputed University in the states

and it has one of the oldest Mis

programs out there in terms of product

management and Tech job opportunities it

offers both in equal measure it's a

great location in the Washington Christ

state area and it's an outstanding

University as well in terms of

reputation starting salaries after

graduating from the University of mland

College Parks program I've been touching

six figures and being going Beyond much

like the other programs on this list and

therefore it's one that you definitely

should consider if you're looking at MIS

grow pack at number eight comes a

program that is expensive and perhaps

that is why it's gone a little bit down

on this New York University in the heart

of Manhattan in New York city has an

msis program which giv you terrific

career opportunities offered by the Kant

school this is a tech heavy program

which helps people really coming in from

non-tech backgrounds to break into

software roles you'll find that the

elective pool absolutely supports that

as a result the starting sales are

terrific as well but NYU is going to be

expensive because of the ction fee and

the fact that you're going to be

studying and living in New York City

which is perhaps the most expensive

place to be now when people ask me about

some good states to be I definitely

recommend places like Texas California

less and less so recover expenses um the

East Coast New York and Boston and

Arizona because it's so good in terms of

job opportunities overall and therefore

the next University is the University of

Arizona's inner School of Business which

offers a management and information

system program as well this is another

program that is outstanding for product

and product management career outcomes

and it is a very well reputed business

school overall way so if you are

evaluating Mis programs the University

of Arizona should certainly feature that

at number 10 stands one of the best

public universities in the US period the

University of in at champag is an

outstanding University now the location

may not be the best because it's a

campus St but it does open up a lot of

opportunities across the East Coast for

you the curriculum can be as Tech heavy

or as product and management heavy as

you please and it gives you a great

brand name after you graduate and

therefore it rounds off this top 10 list
