Transcripts

play00:07

hey everybody it's me I'm alive thank you all  for coming trying to stick to the usual schedule

play00:14

Sunday's Q&A day even though technically where  I am it's actually Monday but still it's Sunday

play00:21

in California so thank you all for coming let's  jump into this one this is uh again all the top

play00:27

questions from the week will be less of my face  it's like the Aussie Aussie man guy like this is

play00:33

my face he's very funny but anyway let's get into  the story a lot to cover and let me pop this up if

play00:40

I can not this no wrong screen H struggle to use  a laptop this day and age all right today we're

play00:47

going to talk about how debasement ravages super  interesting a lot a really cool question that came

play00:53

in and it's a question that I think about all the  time so super to have that we're going to talk

play00:59

about what how to invest for a newborn baby what's  the best thing to do uh we'll look at M2 divided

play01:05

by Bitcoin do travels thank you everybody for  being here so late at night but I guess we have a

play01:10

lot of people in Asia and India and Australia Etc  any we look at Sol versus sui Market manipulation

play01:18

theories and uh Lamborghini versus cybertruck  and so much more American beijinger thank you

play01:24

for coming I'm in your time zone and of course  this is not Financial advice I'm going to rip

play01:29

through this really quick because a lot of good  stuff and all the questions come from patreon

play01:34

so first question is from soulman and again this  is this is brilliant hi James very nice and very

play01:42

helpful mods thank you for shouting out to the  mods like American Beijing are here is there a

play01:46

way to graph out the growth of Bitcoin in dollars  minus the effect of debasement I'd like to see the

play01:53

net effect of adoption on bitcoin's price this is  a brilliant question and you know I I just want to

play02:00

take a second sometimes I say things and I  share data but people get upset I don't know

play02:07

why um I plan on doing a video in the future  about cognitive biases and how you should

play02:12

ignore them and how you should just stick to the  facts look at data and uh don't let anything else

play02:19

impact your decisions so this is the real scoop  on debasement this is a funny meme that somebody

play02:24

sent me yesterday I could afford groceries  four years ago and somebody doesn't believe it

play02:30

everything's everything's fine the same price DB  thank you for coming in Australia but I'm going

play02:34

to show you today mathematically how there is  a huge impact on debasement and also calculate

play02:42

the actual true price of Bitcoin today in real  terms not nominal terms you know people think go

play02:50

we need Bitcoin to hit 69k or 73k to get to a new  all-time high it's actually a very different story

play02:56

first of all and it's going to be I'm trying to  explain this as simply as possible as I can first

play03:04

of all and I also realized by the way there's a  large lag between money Printing and the impact

play03:09

on prices in grocery stores so for example if  if the FED prints a bunch of money or whatever

play03:16

or the treasury prints a bnch bunch of money H you  don't see the impact on prices until a year and a

play03:21

half later sometimes even longer um but here this  chart basically shows you if M2 Supply increases

play03:29

without a corresponding increase in bitcoin's  price the real value of Bitcoin may appear to

play03:36

rise since it takes more currency to buy the same  amount of Bitcoin so it's like if you have uh the

play03:42

simple way to think about that is if you have a  desert island and you have 10 apples and then a

play03:47

ship comes in and and you have $10 of currency on  the island you can basically say well each apple

play03:54

will go for a dollar that's simply how it works  but if somebody comes over and increases the money

play04:02

supply to $20 but there's only 10 apples the price  of an apple go to two bucks so that's the easy way

play04:08

to think about it now if you look at the M2 over  Bitcoin ratio this chart tracks how much M2 as

play04:15

a measure of money supply is needed to purchase  a Bitcoin and the declining ratio suggests that

play04:20

the Bitcoin is gaining value due to the relative  money supply indicating debasement effects and

play04:27

that's what we're going to break down here so I'm  glad you're asking this question first of all this

play04:33

is from true flation this is debasement over the  last three years since September 2021 okay it's

play04:41

now September 2024 and you can see let's call  it 26% for Simplicity and that's the compounded

play04:49

inflation rate like you might have inflation for  say 7% or 6 and a half% per year but it compounds

play04:55

and compounding is a miracle when you are on the  receiving end of it but not the other way around

play05:03

so that's the first piece of data I'm going to  look at second one is we've gone from 12 trillion

play05:10

of M2 money supply in the United States alone this  is just using US dollars to 21 trillion since 2016

play05:16

yeah that's a pretty let's call that nearly nearly  a doubling but what really kicked into high gear

play05:22

we've gone up 40% since c19 it's basically since  January 2020 so what I did was I took a whole

play05:31

bunch of these reference points because it's never  good to take just one point of data but take a

play05:36

few and I put together a simple table so I have on  the left here uh different time periods last three

play05:43

years we got 26% of debasement last eight years  57.14% of debasement and since January 2020 40%

play05:53

of debasement so you and I and I calculated the  average of each and then then brought it together

play06:01

to calculate the impact on the price of Bitcoin  and this is the magical slide here so if you

play06:07

assume the total debasement over the last three  years is 26% that means if the price of Bitcoin

play06:14

today is $64,000 which by the way it just pumped  to that was the number I assumed I was hoping we

play06:23

get to 64k we are at 64300 woohoo we're pumping  and I've got yes oh this is good news it's I this

play06:33

is going to sound really creepy but I think  when I'm here with you all most of the time

play06:38

the market goes up because of the Good Ju guu so I  appreciate you all but here let's look at the last

play06:43

three years if we assume 26% total debasement and  a bitcoin price is 64,000 that means the relative

play06:50

bitcoin price in real adjusted terms not nominal  nominal is dollars real adjusted is going back in

play06:58

time that would be $50,000 from three years ago  if we go to the last eight years it'd be $40,000

play07:06

and if we go since January 2020 it'll be $45,000  and the Staggering thing about that is we are very

play07:14

no matter which one you take we are very very far  from alltime highs people think oh we hit 74k or

play07:22

69k or whatever else no the real price is call it  45k as an a average of these that's the real price

play07:31

of Bitcoin given the amount of new dollars chasing  those apples on the island so I hope that's very

play07:39

clear for everybody and I hope that helps but  there's other countries around the world shout

play07:43

out to our Canadian friends us is a poop show  but Canada next level money printing too so

play07:53

um it's not just the us but other places too are  printing a lot of money and the final part of your

play07:59

question because this is also super interesting  and this is regarding meta's law you said how does

play08:06

Bitcoin adoption and price correspond so I use the  top and bottom indicator model here which has the

play08:12

amount of wallets and this is another example of  how lagging the Bitcoin price actually is in real

play08:20

terms so last time this chart hit an all-time high  of 69k we had 38 million Bitcoin wall wallets now

play08:30

we have 55 million Bitcoin wallets but the price  is only 64k so we have more wallets more adoption

play08:39

therefore the network value must be higher but  it's not and if you take that average calculation

play08:44

I did before right here Bitcoin prices about 45k  in real terms 45k but the amount of adoption is up

play08:53

over 50% so we have a long way to go ladies and  gentlemen if C law works if my calculations are

play09:03

right around real versus nominal we are far from  the true all-time high ladies and gentlemen and

play09:11

now it's a Bonafide asset class so I want to  thank you again and because my brain is still

play09:16

not perfect I don't remember uh soulman um thank  you brilliant question and this is the way we all

play09:22

need to think and yes if you think for a second  your blueberries are the same price as they were

play09:28

four years ago they're not not at all not by any  stretch thank you for the question soulman next

play09:35

question is from golf tragic hi James I'm hearing  that EV sales are down due to not entirely battery

play09:43

disposal issues are you able to shed some light  on this many thanks and hats off to the team and

play09:49

yourself thank you so much this is cool so  a couple of things that are going to happen

play09:55

and this is just reality and I I know I used to  be a petrol head my myself ride motorbikes work

play10:01

on cars I love stuff like that I didn't say I  used to when I was younger and I had time but

play10:06

ice will be flipped in 2026 on planet Earth that  means the majority of vehicles will be or maybe

play10:13

2027 but sometime uh and it's already happened in  Norway it's already happened in China it's already

play10:19

happening in Denmark different parts of the world  it's already happening ice will be flipped because

play10:25

electric cars are better cheaper faster sound  familiar that's what typically wins and uh this

play10:33

is a key chart as well that you will see more  and more of and you know the the traditional car

play10:38

companies that make internal combustion engines  are suffering hard right now now again I have to

play10:45

say one more time getting a little bit political  here mainstream media lies okay absolutely lies

play10:52

um and you just got to be careful what you believe  and what you hear all everybody's is going after

play10:59

Elon Musk no matter what industry it is Media  companies automakers Etc so just don't believe

play11:06

everything you read it's all garbage however  most battery electric vehicles are garbage this

play11:13

is also true but there are a couple of winning  companies Tesla byid Etc they make very good

play11:19

cars but there is an overall industry slowdown  driven by the macro which is terrible there's

play11:24

a recession in the Auto industry High interest  rates are merging them Etc but there's also trans

play11:29

happening and despite all this Bev adoption  is accelerating and the EV battery recycling

play11:36

industry is actually booming there's a couple  of players that are actually making making good

play11:41

money growing very fast so no uh don't worry about  it but the other thing that I do want to stress

play11:47

here is EVS are now cheaper and more comparable to  ice now I want to shout out to my brother-in-law

play11:56

uh this actual car is in the lobby of my hotel  and inspired the story and the other one is what

play12:03

I have and he said he prefers sports cars over  trucks and I said um well there's a little bit

play12:12

of a difference here and I just want to use  this as a simple example to make a point ice

play12:16

versus BV you got a Lamborghini Urus on the left  and a cybertruck on the right the Urus ranges up

play12:23

to $457,000 for the hybrid which is the stupidest  thing ever if you heard me say plug in H $47,375

play12:31

6,000 wherever you are in Singapore it's even  more expensive you have and this dollar terms

play12:45

by the way not to 60 cyber truck 2.6 seconds the  Lamborghini eurus 3.1 to 3.5 seconds I don't know

play12:56

which one's which the hybrid is probably the  slower one but that is ridiculous and this car

play13:01

is 2200 kg or pounds lighter I don't know it's  no 1,000 kgr lighter it does have a higher top

play13:12

speed but it's slower so the question is  why would anybody buy a car like you might

play13:19

as well buy four cyber trucks and give one  to all your friends and family keep one for

play13:24

yourself and rather than buying a Lamborghini  and that's just an example of where we're going

play13:29

these companies that make these cars are going  to die and hybrids are a joke so don't believe

play13:34

media next question from Brian s uh interesting  to see you even get baffled by the non-movement

play13:41

of price when large buys occur the manipulation  is working apparently but for how much longer I

play13:48

don't think we will see retail numbers  we saw in the last three bull runs as

play13:53

they should have been here by now thoughts  a very very interesting uh question and it

play13:59

your question the reason I love doing Q&A every  single Sunday no matter what your questions make

play14:06

me think and it makes me come up with weird ideas  so I'm going to share one in a second but first

play14:11

of all retail is not here um and you can see here  retail has no cash in this chart as of March 2024

play14:23

basically the US retail investor has depleted all  their cash reserves they basically out of money

play14:31

and there has been you know as I I've been saying  the Bitcoin action is all institutional right now

play14:38

it's the big players it's the Michael Sailors  it's the ETFs the and they're they are the kind

play14:45

of players right now so yes retail has not arrived  yet and they normally come later in the Bull Run

play14:52

anyway it's the whales that do the action first  and the whales are definitely there the other

play14:56

thing to consider is my little conspiracy theory  time what if what if because the the way savings

play15:05

are measured for retail investors is to look  at people's bank accounts what if people aren't

play15:11

keeping cash anymore but they're buying Bitcoin  through ATMs or whatever else that's also a

play15:17

possibility um so maybe they're not saving in cash  or traditional means but they're pumping it D into

play15:23

Bitcoin but I doubt it I just don't see the data  for that right now um wow things are looking good

play15:30

out there in the market Bitcoin just went to $400  since I started Wooh 450 actually now the market

play15:37

game Market Maker games are being played you're  dead right there but you know they're doing things

play15:42

like buying Bitcoin simultaneously shorting the  carry trade stuff they're shorting the Futures

play15:46

to profit from Price drops they're setting price  floors uh binance does LW this gradually raising

play15:53

them to create the appearance of stability and a  lot of OTC is happening there's 400,000 Bitcoin on

play15:58

the C desks I think sailor just bought a bunch of  them um and others are going to buy them too but

play16:04

that is impacting the spot price significantly the  market makers are doing their thing as it were now

play16:13

that being said let's get back to Brass tax and  where we are today I had originally said in 2023

play16:20

that I expected the having Target was 42,000 we're  in the getting deeper into the posst having period

play16:28

and we're still kind of high at 65 645 646 now  as I speak so it's not catastrophically bad but

play16:36

again that translates to about 45,000 in old money  from the last Bull Run so we have a long way to go

play16:43

ladies and gentlemen but always think in real  terms not nominal terms think of the apples in

play16:49

the island as well so next I hope that helps as  well next question is from the Yorkshire men uh

play16:59

my partner and I recently had our first child uh  Team coffee love that in your non-financial advice

play17:05

what is your thesis when it comes to Investing For  Children and uh first of all congratulations the

play17:11

Yorkshire men on the birth of your first child uh  well it's it's funny I've noticed it's unlike in

play17:20

the US but in Asia there seems to be a lot of  pregnant women running around here anyway it's

play17:26

great to see and congratulations as Elon says  world needs more babies um now there's a couple

play17:32

of really good things working in your favor the  first one is starting early is a huge Advantage

play17:39

I always say getting early getting hard but when  you have h a child's life of say 18 years before

play17:46

they become an adult even investing a tiny amount  early a small regular contribution can grow to

play17:54

a massive amount over 18 plus years so you have  that huge ug Advantage so start now first of all

play18:02

uh focus on long-term growth assets Bitcoin Tesla  stuff like that um depending on your jurisdiction

play18:10

Yorkshire Manu could be in the United Kingdom  there could be tax advantage plans I'm not a tax

play18:15

adviser uh but check those out too maybe you can  get a tax write off and also I I remember in 2017

play18:23

my whole Spiel to my network is like if you have  a kid buy one Bitcoin if you got two kid kids buy

play18:29

two Bitcoins and of course nobody ever listened to  me uh and then they call me up seven eight years

play18:34

later why didn't I do that anyhow that's just  how it works but I know it's a lot right now

play18:40

to buy one Bitcoin per child but in 18 years it's  going to be a Sev digigit asset and uh that's one

play18:50

thing to really consider also um today you know  what I would do is just a couple of Tesla shares

play19:00

uh as much Bitcoin as you can get per kid um and  then just always always keep your tap dancing

play19:06

shoes on things can change and revise the strategy  as you need to but plan on holding these two

play19:12

things till at least 2028 uh and then the world  will be completely different the world is changing

play19:17

very fast right now as we speak so Yorkshire  man congratulations again hope this helps and

play19:23

uh starting early is massive very blessed um  Bitcoin is up 750 bucks since I started you

play19:32

guys are amazing and gals this from wolfin um hi  James recent eth price weakness has not resulted

play19:38

in a mass rotation into Saul as I would have  expected what are the barriers for institutions

play19:44

to leave eth and move to Saul also besides stable  coins what's the number one use case for Saul that

play19:50

will launch Mass adoption um good question now I  have done two very extensive videos with about 7

play19:58

nuggets on salana so I won't spend too much time  over the last two days I won't spend too much

play20:03

time on that at all but what what is this other  question that is more intriguing to me is why

play20:10

do people hold ethereum it's the same same flaw  in humans humans find it very easy to buy stuff

play20:20

but boy they have a hard time selling anything  and they always have a dream and they listen to

play20:29

targets I'm still seeing $20,000 eth Targets on  Twitter and stuff you know um the good things for

play20:38

eth why people hold it eth is established eth has  an ETF eth has supposed interest eth is supposed

play20:44

to be the institutional asset um all these things  kind of work in its favor but crypto is very

play20:50

tribal uh the eth Believers the eth Maxis like  the Bitcoin Maxis like all the other Maxis they're

play20:57

very very tribal very loyal and people listen to  them um and just in full disclosure here just so

play21:06

uh you can see my face as aie man says um humans  have a hard time selling and I am I I want to say

play21:17

this part just so I say it now I'm an alpha Maxi  right I don't care what it is if I can help people

play21:24

make money on it that's what I follow so that's  kind of where we are now let's compare um eth to

play21:31

Saul eth versus Saul I mean it already salana does  so much more it does 3,00% more transactions it

play21:46

has 1300% more daily active users the users do a  lot more on the Chain uh the fees are five million

play21:54

perent cheaper 5 million perc you can't make that  stuff up it's kind of uh crazy out there so the

play22:02

big question is as you say why not the rotation  because the way I look at it is this is from the

play22:09

SCP profiler you look at salana is about 22% of  the eth market cap but it does much more and even

play22:16

when you add up all the l2s as well it's still a  very small fraction and it does a lot more than

play22:25

all eth and the layer 2's combined so the time  will come and in fact I made a post yesterday

play22:30

on patreon I think I can't remember but I meant  to that I believe you know the relative from the

play22:40

saw upside model I very confident now that salana  has the potential of hitting 50% of eth market cap

play22:48

and that's a moving chart too from the sa upside  mod anybody can check it out online just Google s

play22:53

upside or go to trading View and there you'll  see uh where we'll go and if that does happen

play22:59

we're looking at least uh I think a $333 saw at  eth prices today at the 50% market cap East we're

play23:09

pretty much halfway there and we're going to go  a lot further by the way this also shows all the

play23:14

other top layer ones layer twos out there and uh  you know Tron cardano are pretty much the same and

play23:22

that's a mystery right there and and actually the  cardano is still a huge market cap because as I'm

play23:28

mentioned before humans have a hard time selling I  as I always say as well don't get married to your

play23:34

asset now I feel like I'm rambling a bit let's get  back to this the two biggest use cases uh for me I

play23:42

believe they are defi which is dex's decentralized  exchanges the news that came out over the

play23:47

last three days here in Singapore regarding Dex  capability mind-blowing uh stable coins basically

play23:55

turning dollars into digital dollars that are  frictionlessly transferable and then lending and

play24:00

borrowing um we'll talk more about that on DCA  tomorrow as well by the way and then payments

play24:06

sending and receiving money remittances that's  also a huge use case and that's you know things

play24:11

like payments coupons and stuff that people will  sniff out the ability to save money very quickly

play24:20

very quickly indeed uh and just watch for those  that's how we get to a billion users real fast if

play24:27

people can find a way to save a couple of dollars  they'll do it real fast all right next question

play24:33

uh from less ego more peace I love that name and  yes I'm all about peace by the way I do not like

play24:40

War so let's ego more peace we are aligned um  new here and loving it in patreon James I'm not

play24:48

yet sophisticated enough to follow all of your  trades I am 100% invested in Bitcoin Tesla and

play24:54

micro strategy am I making a mistake just to just  all for the next 10 years he talk about profit

play25:01

taking but I'm hesitant to time the market love  you man love you too um first of all never plan on

play25:08

holding anything that whole huddle thing is just  dangerous eliminate that from your mind uh a few

play25:15

things you need to consider always first of all  seasons change uh markets change we've got bull

play25:24

markets and bare markets and we are half more than  halfway through a bull market in my opinion right

play25:29

now also nothing goes straight up and sometimes  when things go to the Moon they choke out and they

play25:37

mean revert that's just how it works and rotation  is also key uh when you look at relative values

play25:43

of assets some things get overheated and that's  time to move out or hedge or sell or take some

play25:49

profit and put them into something that hasn't run  absolutely crazy also thesis change very important

play25:56

you could have a winning asset and then all of  a sudden like imagine Bitcoin is a brilliant

play26:02

asset and then all of a sudden there's a Bitcoin  killer out there H you got to be prepared for that

play26:07

you got to keep an eye on the market never ever  uh look away from things this kind of ties back

play26:13

a little bit to the first question about how to  invest for a newborn baby also narratives change

play26:20

you know we don't know what the next big narrative  is I'm in two right now which I believe are the

play26:25

two big ones and have been since 2022 they are  crypto and AI That's it uh but there could be a

play26:32

new narrative it could be um maybe a miracle drug  for cancer or something which could be massive or

play26:39

a lot of people are talking about the wovi um  weight loss stuff that could be a new narrative

play26:47

again things I don't see yet but anyway the world  also will be a very different place in the next 10

play26:54

years and even next year and then next 3 years so  always always always have your tap dancing shoes

play27:00

on hope that helps more peace shanz micro strategy  consistently purchases Bitcoin do you see a time

play27:08

where micro strategy will consider purchasing a  Bitcoin mining company uhuh excellent question

play27:14

and I always think about this too first of all by  the way and I'll I'll zoom out again um never have

play27:22

more than 5% in Bitcoin miners for the 100th  time they are so risky they always dilute you

play27:30

to death okay so just listen to me there people  that go 100% into minors and I like no what are

play27:38

you doing also the time to buy miners is in the  bare Market not halfway through the bull market

play27:44

unless of course they're really beaten down as  well like uh snagging some say clean spark at

play27:49

eight bucks the other day good idea that being  said H Never Say Never uh because who knows what

play27:58

could happen but if I was M Michael sailor and  we we think a little bit similarly um mining

play28:05

is a Cutthroat business miners are actually buying  Bitcoin now for example Marathon they are not just

play28:12

mining Bitcoin they're mining about 370 a month  if I'm not mistaken uh but they're also buying uh

play28:19

they're borrowing money to buy as well which shows  you even they're buying Bitcoin not just mining it

play28:25

and most miners struggle with profitability  the majority do they issue shares they issue

play28:30

debt and they've got to continually update their  infrastructure buy more rigs Etc pay more and more

play28:37

for electricity it's just a brutal business to  be in and it's a lot easier to borrow money at

play28:42

close to 0% and then buy Bitcoin at opportune  times then mine through Seasons that simple so

play28:48

would they ever buy one no I would be a mistake  if I was on the board of micro strategy I said

play28:53

never do that never in a million years and I know  Michael sailor is smart enough to know that too

play28:59

next question uh from Aaron uh first off thanks  for your tireless in-depth research on all things

play29:06

crypto taking your advice I'm always looking for  the next s killer well I'm going to correct you

play29:12

there first of all uh the next there hasn't been  one yet so my my research into finding the eth

play29:21

killer brought me to sa in early 2021 because I  wanted to protect my e bags which I don't have

play29:27

any any more because I found the replacement  the question is getting back to your question

play29:33

is there a AA killer so I just want to make sure  we got that vernacular correct uh I recently read

play29:40

an update on sui blockchain and their pilot fish  upgrade which promises to scale a higher TPS than

play29:47

Saul with fire dancer to me it seems like wishful  thinking but I want to be always paranoid with my

play29:53

positions brilliant ABP always be paranoid as  I say and a always be learning so you are on

play30:01

top of it and make sure you're on top of the  new tech are you still not interested in SOI

play30:05

because of tokenomics or is the next sub 1 second  finality they claim to have an pilot fish upgrade

play30:12

make it worth another look so very good I always  always have my eye on what's out there and I will

play30:20

be doing real soon hopefully in the next whenever  I can get some time in the next few days for sure

play30:28

I will be doing a detail salana versus soie face  off haven't done one of these in a while and while

play30:33

pilot fish shows promise it's still in development  and it's currently a proof of concept and uh it's

play30:41

kind of like linear scaling adding machines to  get to a very fast place in a short window of

play30:46

time um I think they call it scale out execution  we don't know if it works now I also say uh what's

play30:54

very important is a bird in the hand as we're two  in the bush right now fired Daner works it's up it

play31:01

they have not one but two different clients maybe  even a third that's available and these guys are

play31:07

hitting 1 million TPS already so the question is  uh where do we go from here and the other thing

play31:14

that's very very important is and I've said this  a few times before you could have the best chain

play31:22

in the world a kid could create a chain in their  basement and say from a Ai and it could be better

play31:29

cheaper faster than everything but if there's no  adoption it's a huge problem a lot of stuff needs

play31:35

to be built a lot of product Market fit deps uh  dpin stuff and that is not really there so back to

play31:43

your question um this is very important so salana  still has way more developers way more users way

play31:50

more transactions per user more stickiness of  the chain way more fees way more tvl way more

play31:57

tax volume and the question remains this is what  we have to look at and you've heard me say this

play32:03

for 3 years now what is the relative valuation  that's what I'll be looking at so if you have

play32:10

say oneth of all these things but you're 12th of  the price then you're very bloody attractive and

play32:17

that was my whole thesis I remember I remember  uh Charles hoskinson uh he mocked me on Twitter

play32:25

in 2021 it was hilarious it's like why why is  this guy mocking me I said my tweet was it's

play32:33

not mathematically logical for the market cap of  cardano to be x times that of salana that was just

play32:40

my my thesis because I value them based on all  these different factors like over 60 different

play32:45

factors and uh the same thing what I will do here  as well what is the relative valuation based on

play32:52

my crypto valuation methodology of sui versus  Saul if SOI is a relative value as I mentioned

play33:02

like I remember uh in the early days the value  of salana as a percentage of eth was a fraction

play33:12

of 1% and I'm like huh but they do 15% of what  eth does that doesn't make sense so that for

play33:20

me was an investment opportunity of course  it also the technology and things anyway uh

play33:26

that will be coming soon it is a bit of a heavy  lift but I promise to get it to you in the next

play33:31

couple of days okay so thank you for that next  question uh from jet one hey there everyone is

play33:40

it possible that Mr 100 is an institution like  Black Rock if yes can they sell their Bitcoin

play33:46

to ETF clients from their own bag hence the fact  that some days despite being high volume on ETF

play33:53

the price of Bitcoin doesn't move shout out oh  thanks for the shout out to T the puppy really

play33:59

appreciate the gesture and shout out to the team  I hope tjo is doing better H and our pleasure of

play34:05

course so quick update on Mr 100 and I know the  plot thiens and everybody's like Oh Mr 100 is

play34:12

just a cold wallet from up bit I know I know I  know but anyway there were many theories on this

play34:19

one of them was tether was Mr 100 now all of a  sudden tether is marked as wallet number nine

play34:26

and the bag size a week ago was identical the Mr  100 and tether had exactly 73,000 Bitcoin each and

play34:37

tether keeps on stacking then got 75,200 Bitcoin  Mr 173,880 so the question is is it tether I'm not

play34:46

sure now the other candidates for who Mr 100 is  and I'll get to why I don't think it's Black Rock

play34:53

in a second uh the five candidates so far Michael  Dell IGN wealth fund out of the Middle East tether

play35:01

scratch that maybe up bit exchange cold wallet  possible but unlikely considering the DCA action

play35:07

and some other Tech billionaire or huge series of  family offices or a conglomerate of Wall Street or

play35:16

I don't know we don't know it's it's it's super  interesting to watch their behavior but their

play35:20

behavior is they they were very rough at dcing at  the beginning and then they got really good and

play35:26

now they're doing some weird stuff so I don't know  and actually that being said let's see what the

play35:31

Bitcoin price is doing because yeah it uh fell a  little bit but that's okay so why I believe black

play35:40

rock would not risk playing this game all right  so first of all black rock is the biggest money

play35:48

runner on the planet they are the world's largest  and most reputable asset manager and they have a

play35:57

strong incent incentive to maintain integrity and  trustworthiness remember if you have no Integrity

play36:02

you cannot be trusted you are dead out there  dead very important you get one reputation in

play36:11

life second regulatory scrutiny uh these guys have  every lens accountant lawyer regulator looking up

play36:21

their butt okay so it's very difficult for them  to get away with stuff of course they probably

play36:26

play games on the side uh but they can't do that  also their long-term strategy is to win okay to

play36:34

get more assets if they lose their reputation  they lose their assets which is their business

play36:39

model so it doesn't fit with their long-term  strategy at all and then they make enough money

play36:44

from ETF fees from Market making and all that  type of stuff and you know I've been I've been

play36:50

the one calling out black rock for the longest  time about how they will go you know they will

play36:58

spend they'll take in a lot of money like billion  dollars in trading volume every day for a week or

play37:05

10 days and buy no Bitcoin or sell no Bitcoin so  they're definitely they're definitely playing the

play37:10

ARB definitely playing the market maker game but I  don't know what they're doing so anyway um that's

play37:18

the questions so far you got that pretty fast and  I want to share this real quick um and this week

play37:25

we helped uh we donated to the defense of animals  to help support mission to defend animals uh and

play37:33

the people that take care of them from abuses  and exploitation and of course DCA is tomorrow

play37:40

we I will be on um actually it'll be in about  10 hours I'll be back but we have a great agenda

play37:50

with Marty and Mando and I don't know if anybody  to help me now because the weird time zone and

play37:55

everything else but if anybody has a couple of  quick questions I just just hit me up here and

play38:01

let me know what you're thinking and a shout out  as well to American beijinger for being here with

play38:06

us as well um from Troy crypto let me try to blow  this up so I can read it what happens if the next

play38:15

election brings unrealized Capital 40 unrealized  capital gains uh and strict price rent controls

play38:23

will the economy collapse and survival become a  privilege in a broken system yeah and you know one

play38:33

of the things I I have opinions uh we people watch  my show because we are I don't want to use the

play38:42

word capitalists but we're kind of capitalists and  there's certain things that go against capitalism

play38:48

and they are unrealized capital gains taxes price  controls they just go fly in the face of logic and

play38:55

that is a big problem they've clearly said one  team has clearly said they have plans for some

play38:59

of this stuff if if unrealized capital gains were  to be approved stock market would be destroyed

play39:09

uh Venture Capital would be destroyed everything  would be destroyed people would flee the country

play39:13

they give up their passports and they go to Dubai  where they're just going like mad I was looking at

play39:19

some data yesterday um of all the people fleeing  place like the United States and the United king

play39:28

and they're moving to Singapore Switzerland Dubai  you know all these tax-free jurisdictions very

play39:34

very quickly uh so yeah I I think it would be I'm  hoping logic will prevail and that type of stuff

play39:42

can never happen that would just destroy destroy  the markets but after 2020 I've seen crazy things

play39:49

happen so nothing is beyond uh Tim Walsh says is  Peter Schiff Mr 100 no Peter shiff has no money

play39:55

that's why he sells gold for a living so can buy  emerging market stocks uh which has been a really

play40:00

bad trade over the last decade too by the way um  let me see aoll red thank you for coming you're

play40:06

in the B right I always thought you in the US  you're in the UK um General a abdell do you

play40:12

think eth will go up uh dramatically considering  that Saul might just eat its launch recycling the

play40:19

capital eth into Saul what are your thoughts so  a rising tide will float all boats eth will go up

play40:27

in fact I made a post last week again on patreon  I said selling eth at this level I think it was

play40:33

$2,200 would be a mistake and I don't even know  the price right now I don't even follow it that

play40:38

much but uh hang on a second where's eth eth is  2700 now so it went to 500 bucks it just it looked

play40:50

like a perfect bottom Hitting off is the 200 day  or I can't remember what what average it was the

play40:57

the chart the TA stuff I was looking at was just  a perfect bottom not to sell so uh everything will

play41:04

go up the question is what goes up faster and the  other thing I would like to mention here as well

play41:09

in investing there's always a shiny new toy in  the room don't chase it create a thesis get into

play41:17

winners and then stick with them but try not to  be distracted by The Shining you toy in the room

play41:25

and that's what some investors make mistakes and  they're always trying to it's good to be on the

play41:32

faster horse but not swap horses every few weeks  or few months unless you're tax fee jurisdiction

play41:39

and you're really good at it then you can get  away with it um Roy McDonald I thought that Mr

play41:45

100 was The brune Wealth brune wealth fund I've  heard Qatar I've heard um couple of other places

play41:55

you know the the the there's parts of the Middle  East that have a lot of oil money and they're

play42:00

looking to heavily diversify away from it too so  it wouldn't surprise me at all balled in the UK

play42:07

I could tell um let me see uh from Digi Bitcoin  I have a couple $240 Tesla options expiring in

play42:18

January 2025 should I roll them 240 yeah that's a  you we're running close so when you have so little

play42:32

time left unless there's a lot of volatility and  there has been quite a bit of volatility lately

play42:36

it depends on your cost basis if for example your  240s cost you 60 back in the day your break even

play42:43

is 300 can we get to 300 by January 2025 depends  how 1010 goes uh I would I don't the the Cliff

play42:53

of time value of options goes down like this  especially over the last 65 days 70 days you don't

play43:00

want to be holding that and we're getting close to  that window right now I would roll them while you

play43:05

still have time try to get a little bit deeper in  the money add a little bit of juice to it and try

play43:11

buy out till January 2026 not Financial advice  it's what I would do I sell short-term options

play43:17

I do not hold them or buy them um there's Angie  Torres I'm from California I usually see James 5

play43:27

in the morning nice to see you an evening update  thank you get some rest see you tomorrow morning

play43:31

yeah I might as well just stay here and wait for  DCA to start how about that much love to you too

play43:37

American beijinger um any 101 predictions uh  Anders macaw 1010 is October 10th that's the

play43:47

Cyber cab Tesla Robo taxi demo event I think it'll  be special I think Elon has a few tricks up a

play43:54

sleeve I think I do believe it'll be some type of  new fangled vehicle that will not have a steering

play44:02

wheel or pedals and it will drive autonomously and  pick up passengers I'm hoping that's the demo what

play44:10

this thing looks like it'll look pretty Space Age  I think it'll look something like the Cyber truck

play44:17

um if it's anything less than that it could be  a disappointment and it could be a sell to use

play44:21

event as well and remember 80% of the time these  things do end up being sell in USE events so watch

play44:28

for that uh Amy my back my back is the least of my  problems I had a stomach bug I had some pathogen

play44:37

from some piece of fruit or something here in  Asia and it wiped me out but I discovered a new

play44:44

weight loss plan too which is great um let me  see General abdell again are you more bullish

play44:49

on SOL since break point if so why what changed  first of all 70 massive product announcements

play44:57

launches multiple clients validators fire dancer  stuff that I did not expect to be brought forward

play45:04

so soon incredible limit orders in Jupiter per  limit orders um amazing so I'm super excited

play45:14

um eisenberger 1986 do you see any risks for  micr strategy in the future I asked because

play45:20

I can imagine that black rock wants to reach the  biggest bag of Bitcoin and doesn't want any of the

play45:25

big players how do you think about it well black  Rock's already bigger than micro strategy uh they

play45:30

eclipsed them about four or fiveth three three  months ago I think um second all the risk for

play45:37

micro strategy and by the way my biggest position  is micro strategy I got into trades in the bare

play45:42

Market that made one of them made about 19,000  per so I have very inflated size position still

play45:50

holding I still believe but I do not want them to  take on too much debt debt can be a killer and Too

play45:59

much exposure debt is a little bit dangerous now  I if they were buying debt and they were paying

play46:07

6 and a half% interest on it I'd lose my [ __ ]  I'd be very very worried because servicing that is

play46:12

crazy but they can actually service all their debt  because it's that a blended rate of about 0.84%

play46:19

they can service all of that at uh what they make  in their business so I'm not concerned but if it

play46:26

gets to a point where the debt servicing cost is  too high I will get very financially conservative

play46:31

and walk away uh Scott Robinson it's a bulletproof  golf card from what I hear yeah that's a good joke

play46:42

um micro strategy has been important oh yeah Gizmo  I bid options these are great questions I bit

play46:48

options are huge um James Van Stratton who is a a  legend on Twitter he made a post that he believed

play46:56

you know ibit options would be bad for Bitcoin  because every will just use paper Bitcoin yada

play47:01

yada but if you are an investor like me I do not  touch an asset unless it's optionable okay I don't

play47:10

feel comfortable with it you know and I I think it  was SAR or metap Planet uh when they announced a

play47:16

Bitcoin strategy I I made a like a trade alert on  patreon I said I can't buy this because there's no

play47:23

options uh but I would if I could and one of them  went up 500% in since April um but I don't invest

play47:31

in assets that aren't optionable so the point  and answer to the question is I bid options as

play47:37

I always said I actually expected them to get  SEC approval for options for Black Rock to get

play47:43

approval in April I was wrong they didn't get it  till September because whatever Larry fin wants

play47:47

from the SEC he gets again he's the biggest money  runner in the world second of all this will drive

play47:54

a ton of Bitcoin adoption there people like me  now now I can play with ibit I can buy ibit and

play48:01

protect my asset using options I think it's a huge  Tailwind uh other people like James F Stratton

play48:08

don't agree with me but uh you know if you run  big money you need options it'll be good and Don

play48:17

you make me happy too thank you for coming I'll do  one last question that I got to go um Larry thinks

play48:22

all ETF uh Gary gansler needs to go uh if we get a  regime change in the SEC we will immediately get a

play48:30

Sol ETF it's that simple but don't don't pin your  hopes to a Sol ETF we saw what happened with the

play48:37

eth ETF it's been you know $600 million bleedout  it's will not save your bacon as they say ladies

play48:45

and gentlemen and hey it's beardy and mbots and  wow I don't even know what time you guys all all

play48:51

the all the regulars are here oh my God Benny's up  and he's in Holland uh I I can't even tell anymore

play49:00

what time is exactly Sol does need an ETF I want  to thank everybody for coming love you all good

play49:05

to see everybody here and I'll see you all back  in hopefully if you can make it um it's going to

play49:13

be the usual 7 7:30 a.m. Pacific maybe 7:00 a.m.  Pacific that might be a slight time we got people

play49:20

in Portugal too um yeah thanks all have a good  night thank you as well too American beijinger

play49:30

it's going to be back on camera even though I  probably look awful good night everybody bye
