Amazon renewed devices for a long time

always look brand spanking new they

only uh phone I've had that was a dud

unfortunately which I think is I think

is maybe the first or second one was the

s23 ultra not this one but the one I had

previous I was having all kind of

performance issues with that device so I

had to send that device back but since

I've gotten this new one no issues

whatsoever when it comes to Performance

none but back to this $575 $599 and you

will get a charger in the Box unlike

Samsung that don't give you nothing

except a charging cable so at least with

Amazon they do give you a a a charger

now it's only a 15 watt charger but

still a charger nonetheless least you'll

be able to charge your device when you

get it now like I said if you're in

foldables yes I I think it's definitely

worthy of picking up no question about

it that the wi out of display the price

also this device is lighter than the

previous iterations of the fold the

original fold the fold two the fold

three it is definitely lighter it also

has a smaller hinge which doesn't

protrude doesn't protrude like the other

ones now I don't have the I mean I do

have the other ones I don't have

right here to show you now but trust me

the hinge is much much bigger now this

is weird but for some reason this is

actually easier to open to than that of

the zold 2 which I have which I you know

was using for a long time before I got

this this is easier to open it has a

smoothness to it because of the hinge

but for some reason I like the stiffness

of the zold 2 a little better in the way

when when I open it how it just clicks

into place I I just I don't know I I

just like that for some it's it doesn't

make any sense to you probably sounds

weird but both hinges are excellent like

the hinge on here is excellent you could

go as far as you can go as far as this

and it'll stay open now of course why

would you have it that low but the

hinges are excellent and the hinge on

the zold 2 to this day and I've had that

for a few years now it's still excellent

like no ISS ues

whatsoever but this phone is

considerably lighter than that of the

z42 it's lighter the hinges the hinges

are smaller and this phone is lighter

this phone is also brighter than that of

the z42 and the

z43 and you get 120 hertz on the outer

display now with the other now with the

Z 2 you only got 60 HZ now I believe

with the Z 3 you did get 120 HZ on the

outer display I

believe I'm not exactly sure because

I've never had the z43 because z43 and

z42 were pretty much the same really the

same device except you know for the chip

and the camera and the um ipx rating and

the in the spin compatibility it was

basically the same phone other than that

and this is no different than that of

the z45 is pretty much the same device

except a few minor upgrades

but for this for that price 575 between

575 and

$5.99 definitely worth picking up like I

said if you're into foldables if you're

thinking about getting into foldables if

this if this display being this narrow

is not an issue for you I would say go

wider but however you gonna pay more

been cool if they just gave it a nice

gold trim you know that would have

really been nice burgundy and gold those

are like my two favorite colors that

design the build quality on this phone

is topnotch no question about that I

case on it because I don't know about

y'all but when I'm trying when I try to

use this what our case now this phone is

thin phones I like phones with some

thickness to it but this phone is too

thin without the case and it's really

hard to open without a case for me I I

like if it was a little thicker and it

had it was just I don't know the way the

it in the case because if not I'm going

struggle to to open it and then I might

end up dropping it so I'm going keep the

case on but the phone is really nice

display I love how big this is like a

6.1 and they made the icons super small

battery life real quick the battery life

is okay like if you don't use the inner

display that much the battery life is

pretty good but I didn't buy this to use

this I just didn't I didn't buy this

device to use this the majority of the

time I did not okay it is a little wider

than of the z42 and the z43 but still

it's still not wide enough for me to

comfortably use this on a you know more

as opposed to open it up all the time

it's still just a little bit too narrow

but it's still usable at least it's

usable as opposed to the z42 and the

z43 it's definitely more usable you know

if I go into a app you know I could you

don't prefer stuff this

z42 and a z43 unusable outter display

display more you're going to use more

need to turn you shouldn't have to turn

all the stuff down just to get great

battery life especially ly for those of

you that have paid full price for this

you should not have to go in here and

battery life when a phone is almost two

two days of battery life you should get

great standby time and I'm talking about

using the inner display a lot you should

still be able to get two days for that

my YouTube feed here and I got my maps

here so if I need to go somewhere I can

do that I could easily see it over here

then if I want to get more maps I just

slide this over make that smaller I can

see more of my maps if I want to go the

other way I can do that too but of

course I'm not going to do that if I

need to look at my maps because that

needs to be bigger now I know a lot of

people now this is my favorite

have other options you know you can use

it like this which a lot of people say

they prefer this configuration I

don't I don't honestly but it's nice to

have the option because some foldable

phones you can't do that so it's nice to

know that you got the option of course

you can switch them and of

course um you could make one you know do

it like that where you could have one in

the middle like that so it gives you it

gives you a lot of options and that

that's good for um for multitasking and

wanted to show you one more thing and of

course you could press this little star

here and that'll automatically save it

down into your um your bar and you could

just you know tap in whenever you feel

like it so I like I like having these

options I really do it's really cool cuz

some most foldables I don't think you

can do this where you can make this

bigger and make it smaller like that a

lot of them you can't do that Samsung

may not make the best foldable devices

but I believe they make the best

software for foldable devices I do

still think Samsung makes the best

get that I don't know why that is that's

really weird to

way it's supposed to but for some reason

even get the s pin with it you got to

buy that separately which I think is

utterly ridiculous and just a money grab

seriously so I'm like forget it now I do

have a case that comes with a Spen

already with it you know I did that

because the case wasn't that much now i

i but I don't use it because the case is

a little too bulky because the S Pen is

you know a really big S Pen it's not

small like that of the s23 ultra so um

you know it it has it like the S pin's

like is tucked down into the back of the

case on the um on this side here and

it's all right if you really use the

Spen like that I don't so no big deal

is I mean look how hug huge it is so I'm

loving it the cameras on here really

really good I'm I'm I'm impressed I'm

very much impressed so I don't have to

worry about having a fold and having bad

cameras cuz these cameras on here are

really really good and they're the same

exact cameras as a z45 the same exact

cameras they they didn't change anything

when it came to the cameras so if you're

getting great if you're going to get

great camera quality on that phone

you're going to get the same on this one

the z44

all right

so I

think I like this phone a lot like I

said it's it's it's in my uh would say

top five definitely in my top five

definitely in the top five because I

like this huge inner display and I like

one UI so it has all the Samsung

features and the Samsung software that I

prefer Samsung oneui is my favorite skin

okay okay the speakers on here are good

too but in my opinion based on because I

have the device the zold too speakers

sound a lot louder than these these I'm

not saying they're not loud but the zold

2 sounds even louder I don't know how

that happened why do you sound are not

as loud as Z2 I don't know but that's

that that's probably my biggest

disappointment is that you know the

speakers on that are louder than the

speakers that on on here other than that

everything else is just topnotch

displays excellent performance excellent

cameras are great speakers are good

always on displays great you got a

lighter device you got a wider outer

display you got um a better hinge you

know you got some nice colors that come

with it great CA uh camera and video

quality I mean no issues with this this

phone really at all honestly I haven't

had any now it still charges relatively

slow like an hour 15 hour and 20 minutes

which it's all right but still

relatively slow 25 watts wireless

charging still 15 slow reverse wireless

charging 4.5 slow so the charging speeds

are not impressive the battery life I

wish it was a lot better but you can get

through a day definitely make it through

a day but if you really push it really

hard you're going to have to top off

before the end of the day

you know if you're just using that inner

display all the time like I like to use

it you're going to have to top off but I

think it's definitely worth considering

uh picking up in

2024 keep in mind of that price I told

you about

575 and $5.99 that's considerably

cheaper than 1,800 plus

tax so if you want to get affordable and

you know you I would say don't waste

your time to Z4

5 seriously why why this is pretty much

the same device honestly okay you guys

that that that device has a a a larger

chip I mean a different chip and it's a

little brighter but for the most part

it's the same exact device seriously

nothing's nothing hardly really changed

Samsung just resting on The Laurels with

that one so I would say get this one

you're still going to get two more years

of updates on this one one you're going

to get Android 16 it's got 14 right now

but you're going to get Android

16 and three more years of security

update so you're going to be good with

this device for a

while all right so should you pick up

this device I was I I would recommend it

honestly if you're in the foldables if

you're not in the foldables and to you

know because everybody just I don't I

see very very few people walking around

with foldable devices I only it's I know

it's two guys on my job that has has

this device nobody else does that I've

seen

anyway but I definitely like it cuz I

like the bigger the bigger inner display

and I watch content on my devices all

the time so I love having the option of

opening up uh this display on the inside

and using it also keep in mind I like to

read a lot of books so when I go into my

Kindle

app you know and I read

something everything is just nice and

big see that

I love that as

opposed to the screen on

this it's like night and

day let me

see see I mean both get really bright I

mean this is actually a little brighter

at the moment cuz I got this turned all

the way up and this is not turned all

the way up but you see I'm just getting

way more content on this so it makes for

much more you know great uh reading

experience like a

e-reader so um that's the reason why I

like this bigger display you know

watching movies content um you know

playing games things like that it's just

better I just love this and you know

like I said you do have the what do you

call that the I forgot what you call

this uh this mold but I don't use it you

can use it but the thing about it you

can only use it with with

Samsung's uh you know their the video

the video I mean you can use it in

YouTube you can use it in YouTube You

could also use it with the camera app it

does it too see the camera app you could

use it but I forgot what you call it I'm

sorry you know please excuse me but if

you go into using Samsung's video app

which you can't use on the s23 ultra

anymore which is a big disappointment to

me cuz I use that app I like using it

can also make this a little bit bigger

just by hitting let me see I think is

this right here yeah I usually put it in

crop so you can get a bigger you know

picture but you can control everything

down here or you could have it off I

forgot the let me see the other

options they give you let me see what

the other options oh that's for another

one let me see I know it's I know it's

something else

but I guess you can do that but why

would you do

that all right well I can't remember all

the stuff but like I said you you got

options and it's nice when you got

options that's always a nice thing of

course you can make it smaller like that

so Flex mode okay it just came to me

Flex mode all right so you got Flex mode

so Flex mode is cool all right so should

you pick up the z44 2024 I said yes it's

worth it especially like I said if

you're in foldable devices definitely

worth your time and your money all right
