Transcripts
hey guys in this video I'm going to show
you some websites where you can actually
find hundreds of work from home jobs
related to AI many of which are entry
level and some don't require any
experience or even an interview to apply
so one place to check right now is
called
outlier.ai so this is a place where they
are looking to hire literally over a
hundred people to help train AI better
to basically make sure that AI is
working the way it should and is
progressing so they have 131 different
opportunities right now and they have
all sorts of different areas that
they're looking for people in so for
instance um they want people who know
about accounting and taxes agriculture
architecture biology chemical
engineering you also see some that are a
little more common sometimes you'll see
some related to writing editing and
other things like that you even have
tutoring self-help uh generalists you
see a lot of writing evaluation jobs you
have many of those
available you even have some related to
certain languages where basically you
are helping train AI in different
languages as well so you have all sorts
of different types of jobs um that are
available all over the world so many of
which you see say remote Global on the
location so they also have some towards
the top that will say in a specific
country so sometimes they'll even say
anywhere in the United States Canada
Puerto Rico Mexico United Kingdom
Australia uh New Zealand and Argentina
for instance so sometimes they give you
a group of locations like countries
sometimes they give you um anywhere in
one specific country and sometimes they
just say anywhere globally so I'm just
going to click on one of these as an
example so one of these at the top where
you're kind of a specialist with these
they're looking for people who are
accounting and tax experts to help train
generative artifact icial intelligence
models it's a freelance opportunity
pretty much all of these are freelance
jobs um you're going to work remotely
you have flexible hours where you can
set your own schedule and you also have
weekly payouts as well so you gain
experience in the field that will
dominate the next decade and Beyond
which they say is AI so basically you
would be assessing different things
produced by AI models you are going to
help make sure that AI is crafting and
answering questions properly
and so you are helping shape the way AI
actually works and
autogenerator now the way I um the way I
interpret this is that these are kind of
like things that would be preferred it
doesn't mean that all of these are
required they say these are examples of
what is desirable in this area and again
this will vary for each listing and
there's over a hundred listings so I'm
just going over a few as examples but
with this they do want a bachelor's
degree in this area experience working
in this area as a professional an
ability to write clearly about these
Concepts now this one they T they say
pays up to $40 per hour and again this
is a freelance related job so what these
what you expect here you fill in your
application create an account verify
your identity and phone number passes
skills assessment or interview so it
looks like um you may have to interview
here I tried to check and research
whether or not they do require an
interview in some cases it seems that
they do so I can't necessarily say that
they are a no interiew workplace but um
in some cases you may just have to pass
a skills assessment according to them
and then you can start working and
earning from there so this is one
example this was one of those that could
be higher paying when you're more of a
specialist if you're more of a
generalist you can scroll down to the
generalist section here
where you can look for something that
basically involves uh writing or English
writing or something like that so if you
clicked on just like this one in Canada
as an example you have still weekly
payouts work from any time you want um
set your own schedule and gain
experience in AI so with this um
basically they want you to help train it
to be fluent in English for these AI
models so you will be reading a lot of
text you will be be writing and
rewriting different prompts and
responses and assessing the factuality
and relevance of text produced by AI
models they give you a few examples of
things that you might have if you're
doing this experienced as a professional
writer or editor currently enrolled in
or completed a bachelor's degree or
higher in this area strong sense of
writing style paired with exceptional
English language spelling attention to
detail and the ability to explain
clearly the strengths and weaknesses of
a given piece of text so again these are
all going to vary depending on which one
of these you're interested in applying
for but you do not have to have any kind
of AI experience for these and you do
not have to have done anything like this
before but you do need to have some sort
of expertise in the area that you are
training the AI in so it's almost like a
tutoring gig where they don't
necessarily require a lot um in terms of
uh experience or they don't necessarily
require you to be a tutor before or
something like that but they do want you
to prove that you have knowledge in this
area and they'll give you a few examples
of how you could possibly do that uh
payment wise this one is $20 um Canadian
for this one per hour again this will
always vary by the country it'll vary by
um the do the particular job you're
doing you have different languages as
well if you speak one of these languages
um you could probably just apply there
and you don't necessarily have to have a
lot of experience there but you can
check at outlier.ai and obviously I'll
have links to all of these in the show
notes as far as what it's like to work
here they have a three out of five star
rating so far uh 53% recommend working
here to a friend now do you think you're
going to get benefits here I don't think
you will because it's a freelance type
of gig they do say you may have to
interview but the difficulty process
here for interviewing is very easy 2.1
out of five is Extreme ex easy most
companies I look at are closer to three
out of five and then the vast majority
of people either had a positive or a
neutral experience interviewing or
applying here um only 19% had a negative
experience here next we have a company
called RWS RWS dcom is a place that has
all sorts of different jobs available um
a lot of these have to do with language
like translation localization and now
they do AI enabled technology as well so
if you look at their careers what you
usually want to do is look at the global
opportunities you can also look at their
freelance opportunities as well but if
you look at their Global opportunities
you'll see all sorts of different things
now if you search AI here in the search
box you will find all sorts of AI
related gigs that you can get all over
the world you'll see the uh the location
in the top left of each listing and
pretty much every single one of these
that I'm showing you mentions AI models
as as part of the job so as you can see
you have a lot of search engine
evaluation for AI models where basically
AI will um create search results when
you are searching for something
specifically and you are supposed to
evaluate those search results and make
sure that they the AI is giving proper
results that are relative to what
somebody is typing in so that's a big
part of what you're doing here they also
have some speech collection jobs as well
that you can do part-time
and uh they also have a few like
internship type of gigs on top of that
so one example I'm going to use for the
RWS website is the data annotator for AI
models because I know a lot of people
watching this video are located in the
US but again they have these in many
other countries as well so just go by
the country you live in when you're
searching their jobs and again I'll have
links to all this stuff in the
description for you but as far as um
some of the details for these types of
jobs many of them will be very similar
although the work you do might vary in
terms of what type of AI you're working
on so for the most part you're going to
be able to work remotely um you must be
eligible to work in your country and
reside in that country you work
part-time some of these require four to
six hours a day they pay up to around
$20 per hour again this can vary
depending on the country and the cost of
living in that country experience no
prior experience is required education
no education requirements language
requirements native in English start
date ASAP ongoing projects and project
duration is typically 4 to 6 weeks at a
time but it can be extended from there
so they attract a lot of people that are
like stay-at-home parents students gig
workers professionals looking for
freelance part-time and other remote
jobs you also get to set your own
schedule here as well which is a common
thing with a lot of AI jobs these days
especially if they are uh contractor
gigs or freelance so they are looking
for data annotators who will do a WI
range of tasks um basically to help
train AI so basically you could do
things like review and score existing
audio samples provide constructive
feedback to speech recording or
captioning and this information will be
used to train and improve Ai and machine
learning models so typical tasks include
data annotation or evaluating of text or
audio or speech samples briefly
describing audio or speech sample
contents rewriting the generated
captions assigning applicable categories
or speech and or for video recording and
benefits here again we've already kind
of been over all of this one thing I
haven't mentioned yet though is you do
get timely payments via PayPal or bank
account uh equipment you'll need is very
minimal it's actually not bad at all a
high-speed internet access a personal
computer Windows or Mac OS email service
can be Outlook Gmail or just about any
other not really anything specific uh
job requirements here um you don't have
to have experience you don't have to
have any education requir ments we've
already been over that some of these
will um depend in terms of if you're in
the US you may be limited in certain
States Um this can vary of course by the
country and as far as the the fluency in
a certain language that can vary
depending on the country as well so um
as far as that goes typically this site
is known for having no interview jobs so
if you're looking for something where
you don't don't normally have to
interview for their for their remote
freelance jobs you might check RWS as
far as more information about RWS they a
3.6 out of five star rating 63%
recommend working here to a friend do I
think you're going to get benefits no I
do not are you going to have to
interview I don't think you will and as
far as pay goes again we saw an example
right there for up to around $20 per
hour I would say most of them are
probably going to be in that ballpark
next we have a company called data which
is a company that used to be called
teamwork and now they've rebranded to
datavo which is actually by isoftstone
which is a pretty large company
isoftstone is actually a company with uh
over a thousand employees in fact so uh
data VI is a place where they have all
sorts of full-time part-time and remote
jobs around the world um a lot of these
have to do as you can see with
supporting the world's largest
technology companies providing
highquality Ai and machine learning
training data for products and services
so again the training data part of that
is very important you are doing AI jobs
but mostly what you're doing is stuff to
help train the AI or to give feedback on
the AI so um some of this has to do with
language like linguist or translation
you also have transcribing annotation
data labelers uh testing and much more
as they show you here so when you click
on their jobs here you'll have a a range
of different things that they have
available really depends on when you
check the site so right now some of the
most recent posted jobs out of the 70
that they have available right now are
speech data collection there's a lot of
those right now there is an iOS
evaluator if you're in the US you can
evaluate things on iPhone um you also
have food collector food image Collector
video collector and a few other things
but a lot of these are when you collect
something you're submitting it to help
train AI in a certain area so for
instance uh AI voices for or whether
it's used for reading something or AI
voices that are used for like assistant
like a voice assistant you think like
like Siri or Alexa or something like
that um these need a lot of different
languages and a lot of different samples
to be submitted that they use to
basically help train the AI and having a
better AI generated voice in that
language sometimes they'll even want
people to submit samples of of speech
that are in a certain accent in a
certain language so not only do you have
each individual language that you have
to train AI voices you also have
different accents in those languages
like English for instance you have many
many different types of accents for
English so they need people in different
areas of English-speaking countries to
submit samples with that particular
accent to also basically red descript
and submit it for training the AI so for
instance right now we have this one it's
a speech data collector just as an
example a random example here and
they're looking for people who can speak
Korean in this specific example again
they have many different ones on the
left here for different languages and
different countries so you're going to
gather in measure audio data data will
be used to understand and process audio
input making virtual assistance like I
was saying and other AI programs more
user friendly so think like helping
improve the next like Siri or Alexa
maybe on a smaller scale you'll be
required to record 60 phrases in this
language work will be completed online
from a computer or smartphone and
usually this only takes up to around 40
minutes you must be a native speaker in
that language must be located in the
country they mention have access to a
computer able to meet deadlines
available immediately and
also this one in particular this can
vary of course deter determined by your
country and also how long it's supposed
to take and also but the cost of living
in your country is usually a big factor
and how much they pay but uh $30 per
hour via PayPal or $30 in total via
Paypal upon approval and you're only
going to take 35 to 40 minutes to earn
that $30 so you're looking at almost a
dollar per minute of your time actually
a little bit less than that so you're
looking at pretty good compensation for
the amount of time it takes you to
actually do that work and then you can
go on to other things so this is more
like a oneoff type of job you may find
some others that are interesting to you
as well where you have some where you
can basically uh evaluate things on iOS
you have some where you're you have some
where you're focused on something like
food image collection as well where
basically you would submit pictures of
certain items that will help train the
AI to generate images and basically this
would be something you could either do
at home or in other locations like
restaurants or something as well so you
have a few different types of AI
training jobs available right now but a
lot of them right now are related to
data collection of some sort so as far
as what it's like to work here they have
two places you can look for reviews from
one is teamwork. ais's Page this is
actually what they used to be called
this used to be their main website when
you click on this it should redirect you
to data vo at least that's what it was
doing before so as far as reviews go
they have a four out of five star rating
83% recommend working here to a friend
and if you're talking interviews a lot
of times I don't think you really have
to have an interview these are typically
like freelance type gigs where you don't
really have an ongoing amount of work
it's Lally you just do this one
particular task and then you're done in
many cases so in terms of the other site
you might look at in terms of reviews
you can look at I softstone which I
believe is kind of like the parent
company of data VI and they have a page
with a 3.1 out of five star rating now
they don't have as many recommending
working here to a friend for whatever
reason but if you look at the actual um
the original page for data before they
rebranded it's actually four out of five
stars with a pretty good rating overall
so depends on how you look at it but
other than that hopefully this was
helpful these are a few different sites
that are looking to fill a lot of
different AI jobs right now if you
thought this was helpful please click
the like button helps me know what types
of content you prefer and I'll see you
in the next video
