Outlines
🎬 Star Trek Day Celebrations and Beetlejuice Review
The paragraph begins with a warm welcome to a new episode of 'Just Watched', where the host expresses excitement about having fewer complaints and more recommendations to share. The host then leads into a special topic: a personal quest to determine the best Star Trek film, mentioning favorites like 'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country' and 'Star Trek VIII: First Contact'. The conversation shifts to the recent resurgence of interest in Star Trek, prompted by Star Trek Day, celebrated with special pop-up stores and online activities on starrek.com. The host encourages viewers to check out the site and engage with the Star Trek universe, also mentioning Paramount's charitable donations through viewer participation. The main review of the paragraph is for 'Beetlejuice', a film that has exceeded expectations at the US box office. The host, a fan of the original, praises the film's return to Tim Burton's gothic style, the soundtrack by Danny Elfman, and the set design. However, there's a critique that the film struggles with characters in the world of the living, unlike the well-executed world of the dead.
🤔 Mixed Feelings on Beetlejuice and Praise for Rebel Rich
This section continues the review of 'Beetlejuice', noting its weaknesses in the living world's storyline and script, which feels convoluted and weighed down by too many plotlines. The host comments on the film's misplaced focus, such as the introduction and subsequent disappearance of Monica Bellucci's character. Despite these issues, the film redeems itself in the last third with a return to the world of the dead and a crescendo of absurdities that work well, leading to an overall enjoyable experience. The host then transitions to discussing 'Rebel Rich', a film by Jeremy Saulnier, which is praised as a strong entry on Netflix. 'Rebel Rich' is described as a departure from Saulnier's usual violent narratives, instead focusing on suspense and tension. The film is compared to 'Rambo' and 'Reacher', with a recommendation to watch it in its original language for the full experience. The host also highlights the casting of Aaron Pierre, who brings a strong presence and threat level to the film.
👻 The Substance: A Bold Horror Film and Critique of Remakes
The host introduces 'The Substance', a buddy horror film that cleverly tackles themes of beauty ideals and the desire to remain young. The film is described as weird, bold, and capable of being very disgusting, especially towards the end. Praise is given to the director's sense for sound design and camera work, as well as Demi Moore's daring performance. The film is recommended for those with strong stomachs and an appreciation for horror. The paragraph also includes a critique of the remake of 'Speak No Evil', a Danish thriller that was remade with James McAvoy. The host expresses disappointment in the Hollywood-style ending that replaced the original's more impactful and consistent conclusion, suggesting that the remake lacks the original's message and consequence.
📺 Terminator Zero Disappoints and Upcoming Plans
The final paragraph discusses 'Terminator Zero', an anime series that fails to bring anything new to the Terminator mythos. The host criticizes it for being a chase movie with philosophical conversations that don't feel fresh. The series is compared to 'Terminator Dark Fate' and 'Terminator Genesis', with the host noting that it leaves much potential on the table. The host also mentions a lull in big cinema releases until October and plans for a new episode of 'Just Watched' and a counter-program to the negative criticisms received recently, promising to feature more positive content in upcoming videos.

Transcripts
überlegen was der beste Star Trek Film
bekanntermaßen der Star Trek day gewesen
ist da feiern wir dieses großartige
Universum und Paramount bzw paramon Plus
hat sich dieses Jahr etwas ganz
Besonderes überlegt es gab nämlich die
take the Share Pop-Up Stores wo man sich
in den Cap Sessel hat setzen können
falls ihr diesen Pop-Up Store verpasst
haben solltet dann geht doch mal auf
starrek.com dort wird Star Trek nämlich
in all seinen Form gefeiert es gibt z.B
einen digitalen missionsgenerator und
wenn ihr euch daran beteiligt dann tut
ihr sogar noch etwas Gutes für Menschen
in Not denn Paramount bzw Paramount plus
Spenden an Hilfsorganisation wie
doom.org also einfach mal auf
starrek.com vorbeigehen und schauen was
besten bei Paramount plus heraus also
hinbekommen sondern eher so seelenlosen
hier wahnsinnig viele easx drin ganz
viele kleine skurile schöne Einfälle und
viel Spaß ich fand Beatle juice be J nie
fantastischen schlussgck also immer dann
ordentlich ausgeholt leider leider
ehrlich gesagt ganz schön vertrackt man
manche wahrscheinlich weniger dramatisch
gehabt in diesem Momenten da schwächelt
funktioniert dann irgendwie trotzdem
jetzt denkt na ja kennt man schon da
wird jetzt die übliche John Wick Nummer
draus der IRT und da kommen paar
Feinheiten dazu die ich so nicht
erwartet hätte die ich euch jetzt aber
nicht vorwegnehmen möchte ein ganz
großes Ding muss man hier hervorheben
kleine Stärkung nämlich the substance
diesem hervorragenden horrormeisterwerk
geben möchte für mich einer der
stärksten Filme des Jahres wir müssen
uns noch eingewöhnen und ich verspreche
euch es wird ein tolles Wochenende wie
lang sind wir zusammen 17 Jahre 17 Jahre
wow man kriegt weniger ver
englischsprachiges Remake draus obwohl
das Original eigentlich auch schon
größtenteils in englischer Sprache
funktioniert hat aber der guckt schon
europäische Filme also machen wir
nicht so wirklich was anfangen zumindest
just watched in den nächsten Wochen weiß
finde
