Transcripts
12 radio therapy sessions down 18 to go
total of 30 wow it does it does seem
like a lot uh doesn't it and I'm told
the same thing by just about everyone
involved in it from doctors to
assistants to nurses they all say the
same thing that it gets worse as it goes
on it gets to a you know reasonable
start you know kind of painless
start but the more the radio therapy
it's a cumulative effect that's the way
um that's the word
cumulative so 18 more to go I'm starting
to feel it now I am I only the last
couple of
sessions um you know I I'm starting to
feel it now today when I got up
I had my breakfast at at at the table
and when I stood up I felt dizzy I felt
dizzy I think my physical Improvement
has ceased and may even go on a decline
I expected that before I started radio
therapy you know I mean I was I was
improving phys physically improving it's
it's now nine weeks uh since since I
that's 63 days
since I had the brain operation and you
know I've I've said 1% a day you know
well I don't think I think you know
63% recovery from a a dead right leg and
a dead right
arm I don't think they have improved at
63% but I I expected you know I was
improving but but
um you know radio therapy I did expect
some effects for that now 12 sessions in
um you know I mean I felt like I felt
terrible today I felt it really really
bad I I I felt it when I stood up from
the chair I felt busy like as if I was
going to collapse I can do without that
so um this is like an update if anyone's
planning on going through radial therapy
or um you know as it in the pipeline or
needs to know what it's all about then
you know I'll give you these updates so
this is just an update but 12 sessions
in but you know like I say they all say
the same thing they all say the same
thing and
it's apparently so you know someone said
the last week of radial therapy is
fairly ruthless so I I've got it all I'm
going to stick with it I'm going to
stick with it B I'm going to stick with
it I'll stick with it I'm not abandoned
it now and it's it's I'm kind of used to
that machine but that that smell
disturbs me from the machine how can a
machine smell it's it's like a burning
smell I remember I he that it's kind of
disturbing you know what's burning
people's brain
cells you know so anyway you know it's
going well you know Hospital transport
is is is kind of helpful so this is a
little video to uh just let let you know
keep it updated but but like like I say
I mean I'm 12 sessions in I'm starting
to feel something I didn't feel it for
the first first nine or 10 but now I'm
starting to feel something I thought you
know when I started radio therapy I
thought when that comes
along could be it does have side effects
it has side effects and they told me
about that and um I'm feeling you know
well I was expecting to
feel nausey
which I haven't done but you know that
dizziness that I felt you know when I
attempted to stand up this morning that
was that was you know I kind of felt is
this is this is this the start of the
big decline you know is this the
beginning of the end because I declined
once more and it's it's probably not
coming back so anyway just to keep it
updated I've done 12 sessions of radio
therapy and 18s still to go so um I'll
keep you posted if anything happens so
um thanks for watching
