Judge Napolitano - Judging Freedom
29 Jan 202429:37

Summary

TLDRIn this episode of 'Judging Freedom', Judge Andrew Napolitano and Colonel Douglas McGregor discuss the complex situation in Israel and Gaza, focusing on Prime Minister Netanyahu's stated goals of eradicating Hamas and returning hostages. McGregor expresses skepticism about achieving these goals and critiques the broader Israeli strategy, which he perceives as aiming for a greater Israel free of Palestinians. The dialogue touches on the Israeli public's support, potential real goals behind Netanyahu's policies, and the international response. McGregor warns of the consequences of the current trajectory, including potential regional war and the implications for U.S. foreign policy and military presence in the Middle East.

Takeaways

  • 😟 Netanyahu's stated goal of eradicating Hamas in Gaza seems unlikely given Israel's focus on expelling or killing the population there
  • 😡 Israel aims to control all territory from the River to the Sea, removing Palestinians entirely
  • 😠 The Israeli public overwhelmingly supports the expulsion and removal of Arabs from Gaza and the West Bank
  • 🤨 U.S. politicians benefit from pro-Israel lobbying money and largely support Israel's actions in Gaza
  • 😔 Without public opposition, the U.S. will continue enabling Israel's actions against Palestinians
  • 😩 Regional Arab populations are ready to fight Israel regardless of costs to destroy it
  • 😰 War between Israel and regional actors seems inevitable at this point
  • 😨 Iran has extensive capabilities to precisely strike U.S. bases and ships in the region
  • 😱 Israel, the U.S., and allies seem unprepared for the full-scale regional war they are provoking
  • 😫 U.S. withdrawal seems the only way to avoid catastrophic escalation toward nuclear conflict

Q & A

  • What are Israel's publicly stated goals according to Prime Minister Netanyahu?

-Netanyahu has publicly stated goals of eradicating Hamas and returning hostages held by Hamas.

  • What does Colonel McGregor believe is the real goal of Israel's military campaign?

-McGregor believes Israel's real goal is to remove the Arab population from Gaza, the West Bank, and establish control over all the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.

  • What indication is there that the Israeli public supports Netanyahu's goals?

-Polls show the Israeli public overwhelmingly supports Netanyahu's goals, with 100% behind expelling or killing the Arab population to establish control over greater Israel.

  • Why does Colonel McGregor believe Netanyahu made a mistake in stating Israel's goals?

-McGregor believes stating the goal as an existential issue for Israel's survival closed the door on potential compromise solutions and made the conflict an all or nothing proposition.

  • How could the U.S. potentially influence Israel's actions?

-The U.S. provides enormous financial and political support to Israel. By threatening to withdraw that support, the U.S. could potentially influence Israel to halt or modify its military campaign.

  • What danger does the current situation pose for a wider regional war?

-Public anger against Israel is rising across the Middle East, pushing governments toward confrontation even though they wish to avoid war. This moves the region to the precipice of a conflict that could culminate in Israel's destruction.

  • Why are U.S. forces being attacked in the region?

-Because the U.S. provides unconditional support for Israel's actions, U.S. forces are seen as legitimate targets by Arab militias wishing to oppose Israel's campaign against Palestinians.

  • What capabilities does Iran have to retaliate against a U.S. or Israeli attack?

-Iran has a large arsenal of precise, long-range missiles that could be used to devastating effect against U.S. bases, Israel, and shipping in the region. This includes hypersonic missiles against which there is no defense.

  • How could the conflict impact the U.S. homeland?

-Hezbollah and other militant groups have presence in Mexico, threatening a second front along the U.S.-Mexico border. Terror attacks inside the U.S. are also a possibility.

  • What are the risks of a wider war involving Russia?

-Russia sees Iran as a key strategic partner and would likely come to its defense in the event of a U.S. or Israeli attack. This raises the risk of turning a regional conflict into a global one.

🎤 Opening remarks and question on Israel's goals in Gaza

Judge Napolitano welcomes Colonel McGregor and asks him if he sees any path for Israel to achieve its stated goals of eradicating Hamas and returning hostages. McGregor says no, he doesn't see that happening because Israel's campaign has focused on expelling or killing Gaza's population, which Israel assumes deserves it for supporting Hamas.

05:01

🗺️ Discussion of Netanyahu's vision for Israeli control and sovereignty

McGregor and Napolitano discuss leaked clips showing Netanyahu's cabinet members demanding control "from the river to the sea" and Netanyahu himself stating that Israel needs sovereignty across that territory for its security. McGregor says this makes clear Netanyahu's vision is the removal of all Arabs from that land.

10:02

🌍 U.S. government lying about supporting two-state solution?

Napolitano notes the U.S. government claims to support a two-state solution despite the Israeli government clearly having no interest in it. McGregor agrees the U.S. knows a two-state solution is unacceptable to Israel now and says the conflict has become an "all or nothing proposition" where all Arabs must go or remain as a threat.

15:03

😡 McGregor argues attacking Iran over U.S. casualties would be wrong

Three U.S. soldiers were killed in Syria, possibly spurring escalation against Iran. McGregor argues Arab militias, not Iran, ordered the attack over U.S. support for Israel in Gaza. He says Iran does not want war with the U.S. and that stopping support for Israel's actions in Gaza would end attacks.

20:05

😨 Warning that attacking Iran risks triggering massive conflict

McGregor warns that attacking Iran, as some U.S. leaders suggest, would prompt devastating retaliation given Iran's large and precise missile arsenal. This could spread into a massive regional war culminating in Israel's destruction, which he thinks cannot be stopped due to growing Muslim rage.

25:06

😰 Advice to remove U.S. troops, brace for attacks from Mexico

Asked for advice to Biden, McGregor advocates immediately removing U.S. troops from the Mideast. He warns of likely attacks from Hezbollah forces and allies in Mexico and says no one has tracked Islamists entering the U.S., warning of attacks on infrastructure and nuclear plants.

Keywords

💡Israel

Israel is one of the central topics of the video, as Colonel McGregor and the host discuss Israel's military actions and political goals in Palestine and Gaza. The transcript shows Israel wants to fully control all territory from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, which would require removing the Arab population that currently lives there.

💡Gaza

Gaza is mentioned many times as the site of Israel's current military campaign. Israel's actions there, which have killed many civilians, are criticized for being focused on expelling or killing the Gazan population rather than neutralizing Hamas.

💡Hamas

Hamas is the militant Palestinian political faction that controls Gaza and engages in hostility with Israel. Israel has publicly stated a goal to eradicate Hamas, but Colonel McGregor suggests this is secondary to removing Gazans.

💡genocide

Genocide comes up when discussing whether Israel's actions should be labelled as such. While the International Court of Justice did not definitively use the term, its ruling implies grave human rights violations on Israel's part.

💡Iran

The conversation links recent attacks on U.S. bases to Iranian-backed militias. However, Colonel McGregor argues Iran did not explicitly order the attacks - rather they stem from anger over U.S. support for Israel's actions against Palestinians.

💡Hezbollah

Hezbollah is referenced as one of Israel's regional opponents with substantial military capacity. They also reportedly have a presence in Mexico, posing a potential domestic threat to the U.S.

💡missiles

Missiles make up a key part of Iran's military arsenal, which could be used to devastating effect against both Israel and U.S. bases in the region in response to direct attacks.

💡war

War is discussed as a possible consequence of ongoing tensions. Colonel McGregor warns conflict could easily spread across the region and draw in other powers like Russia.

💡Russia

Russia is named as a strategic ally of Iran that would aid them militarily against U.S. and Israeli aggression, risking a wider regional or global war.

💡Mexico

The U.S.-Mexico border is raised as a vulnerability, since Hezbollah and other militant groups reportedly have a presence there and could launch attacks in retaliation for U.S. actions overseas.

Highlights

Netanyahu's publicly stated goals of eradicating Hamas and returning hostages seem different from his likely real goal of removing all Arabs from Gaza and the West Bank.

The Israeli public overwhelmingly supports Netanyahu's goal of expelling or killing the Arab population to ensure Israel's security and survival.

Netanyahu equates expelling all Arabs to Israel's long-term security, framing it as an existential issue for Israel's survival.

The U.S. government mostly supports Israel's actions against Arabs due to the influence of pro-Israel lobbying and money in politics.

The only way to stop Israel's actions is for the American people to pressure their representatives, as the government won't oppose Israel.

The Biden administration knows a two-state solution is unacceptable to Israel, so their rhetoric seems dishonest.

Arab populations across the Middle East are ready to fight Israel regardless of costs, seeing it as an existential battle.

Events are moving towards a regional war that could culminate in Israel's destruction, likely unavoidable now.

Any U.S. attack on Iran would probably prompt retaliation attacking Israel, devastating Israeli cities.

Iran has precise missiles and drones that could flatten U.S. bases and cities, as well as hit ships, if provoked into war.

Hezbollah likely has military equipment in Mexico and could open up a dangerous second front along the U.S. border.

If the U.S. aids Israel in war with Iran, Russia will likely assist Iran militarily as a strategic partner.

China would not stand by if Iran's access to food imports and Persian Gulf ports were threatened.

Attacking Iran risks nuclear retaliation by Israel if its cities are destroyed, with catastrophic global consequences.

The U.S. should withdraw all troops from Iraq and Syria as they serve no purpose and provoke attacks.

play00:32

hi everyone Judge Andrew napalitano here

play00:34

for judging Freedom today is Monday

play00:37

January 29th 2024 Colonel Douglas

play00:40

McGregor joins us now uh Colonel

play00:42

McGregor thank you very much for uh your

play00:45

time and your Insight do do you see any

play00:49

path in Israel uh for the achievement of

play00:53

the state publicly stated goals of prime

play00:56

minister

play00:57

Netanyahu of Iraq eradicating Hamas and

play01:02

returning the

play01:04

hostages H not at the moment no I I

play01:07

can't conceive of it because while he's

play01:09

made these statements publicly you have

play01:11

to go back and look at what's happened

play01:13

since 7

play01:14

October and since 7 October the campaign

play01:17

has focused on expelling or killing the

play01:21

population in Gaza I think the

play01:25

assumption is that whomever you kill in

play01:27

Gaza richly deserves it if they happen

play01:30

to be members of Hamas that's fine if

play01:32

they're living there they must be

play01:34

supportive of Hamas so I think that's a

play01:37

secondary concern and as far as the

play01:39

hostages go I I don't see any any acute

play01:44

sensitivity to that issue right now it's

play01:46

drive out the Arabs and not just in Gaza

play01:49

I think there's also an effort to do

play01:52

something very similar on the West

play01:54

Bank um I emphasized in my question and

play01:58

I think you understood it that way Prim

play02:00

Minister netanyahu's publicly stated

play02:02

goals but might his real goal be uh what

play02:06

he wants inadvertently or directly

play02:09

articulated to the UN which is that

play02:12

Israel consists of all the land from The

play02:15

River To The Sea yes he he's briefed

play02:18

that to to the United Nations he

play02:20

supplied a map and everybody looked at

play02:21

it and wondered where the Palestinians

play02:23

were they were gone so that that's

play02:27

abundantly clear he's also made those

play02:29

comments in Hebrew so I think people

play02:32

need to understand this secondly need to

play02:34

understand the Israeli population is

play02:36

behind it they they don't question this

play02:38

at all they're 100% behind it here's a a

play02:42

clip from Al

play02:44

jazer uh but it's uh the two uh what

play02:49

we've been calling extremist members of

play02:51

his main cabinet and his War cabin at

play02:54

Ben gavier and

play02:56

smotrich making demands of him in public

play03:00

and before large crowds I don't we don't

play03:02

know what they say to him in private and

play03:04

maybe he agrees with this uh but here

play03:06

they are in front of crowds making

play03:09

demands of prime minister

play03:13

Netanyahu Mr Prime Minister Benjamin

play03:16

Netanyahu I'm addressing you from this

play03:18

stage it's a shame to wait another 19

play03:21

years to understand that gush and

play03:23

Northern Samaria must be returned the

play03:26

responsibility of Brave leadership is to

play03:28

make

play03:33

decisions we are settling our land from

play03:35

width to length controlling it and

play03:37

fighting Terror always and bringing with

play03:40

God's help security to all of Israel you

play03:42

know what the answer is without

play03:44

settlement there is no

play03:46

security to length and I I think we have

play03:49

what you and I discussed before we went

play03:51

on air I believe we have prime minister

play03:54

uh Netanyahu on this for 30 years I am

play03:59

very consistent and I'm saying something

play04:01

very simple this conflict is not on the

play04:05

lack of a state of Palestinian but the

play04:09

existence of the state the Jewish state

play04:12

every area that we evacuate we receive

play04:15

Terrible Terror against that it happened

play04:17

in South Lebanon in Gaza and also Judea

play04:20

and Samaria which we did it and

play04:23

therefore I clarify that in other

play04:26

Arrangement any other

play04:28

arrangement in the future the state of

play04:31

Israel have to control on the entire

play04:34

area from The River To The Sea this is

play04:39

what happens when you have sovereignty

play04:41

this truth I say to our American friends

play04:45

and I also stopped the attempt to impose

play04:49

us a reality that will jeopardize us a

play04:52

prime minister in Israel has to be able

play04:54

to say no even to the best of friends to

play04:58

say no when you need to and to say yes

play05:00

when you

play05:02

can guess he has more courage than

play05:04

President Biden does he can say no to

play05:06

Joe Biden but Joe Biden can't say no to

play05:08

him but it's obvious what he was talking

play05:10

about first he said control from The

play05:13

River To The Sea which of course they

play05:15

don't have but they're fighting to have

play05:17

then he said sovereignty from the river

play05:20

to the sea is there any question in your

play05:22

mind what he was talking about no not at

play05:26

all remember he and frankly most

play05:28

Israelis equate the the final removal of

play05:33

all the Arabs that currently live in

play05:36

what they regard as greater Israel this

play05:38

is the sea to the Jordan River as

play05:42

equating to their long-term security and

play05:45

survival remember he said for us this is

play05:47

existential either all of these people

play05:50

have got to go and we control everything

play05:53

or uh we're finished he's making the

play05:56

argument that Israel will not survive

play05:58

unless it executes this operation I

play06:02

think we have to take him seriously I I

play06:04

think the Israelis believe it the

play06:07

question is not what the Israelis want

play06:09

or what they believe but what do the

play06:11

American people want and how do they

play06:13

feel are they comfortable with the

play06:16

wholesale removal of the Arab population

play06:19

Muslim and Christian from Gaza it's its

play06:22

death or expulsion or or its killing

play06:26

directly or indirectly through disease

play06:29

and starvation or not if they're not

play06:32

comfortable with that they need to get

play06:34

off their rear ends and call their

play06:36

representatives in Washington because no

play06:37

one in Washington is opposed I shouldn't

play06:40

say no one I'm sure there are a few

play06:42

people but there are so few paying any

play06:44

attention to it I think it's it's really

play06:47

irrelevant well Washington must know

play06:50

what was stated in the clips uh that we

play06:53

just ran Washington must know that there

play06:56

is zero impetus for a two-state solution

play06:59

in the uh Netanyahu government and as

play07:03

you indicated among the uh Israeli

play07:05

population by an enormous uh percentage

play07:09

so should we take

play07:11

seriously uh or are they uh lying to us

play07:15

when Joe Biden and Tony blinkin say

play07:17

two-state solution two-state

play07:19

solution no I think they know that

play07:21

that's utterly unacceptable to the

play07:23

Israelis at this point if there was a

play07:25

chance for that it died some time ago so

play07:29

it's an all or nothing proposition

play07:31

either all of the Arabs go or they don't

play07:35

and in the minds of Israelis if they're

play07:36

not removed there is a permanent threat

play07:39

to their existence and they cannot

play07:41

tolerate that the intern the

play07:43

international court of justice which did

play07:45

not order a ceasefire it has no ability

play07:49

to to to enforce its order which did not

play07:52

find as a matter of fact and law that

play07:54

Israel is engaged in genocide

play07:56

nevertheless told Israel not to engage

play07:59

and genocide and to report back to it uh

play08:03

in 30 days the latter was by 16 to one

play08:07

which included the justice that was sent

play08:10

from

play08:11

Israel as you know South Africa got to

play08:14

add a Justice to the court it's very

play08:15

unique that they can do that and Israel

play08:18

got to add a Justice to the court that

play08:19

vote was 16 to1 the other vote was 15-2

play08:23

did the icj ruling burst the bubble of

play08:27

Israel moral rectitude or had that

play08:30

bubble been burst by the IDF in

play08:34

Gaza outside of the United States and

play08:37

Israel and the United Kingdom probably

play08:40

Australia New Zealand I'd say it has

play08:43

bursted but as far as we're concerned

play08:45

it's irrelevant the international court

play08:47

of justice is irrelevant to us we're not

play08:49

signatories we don't respect it we have

play08:52

no use for it uh we don't care and

play08:56

remember the entire government on

play08:58

Capital Hill is with very few exceptions

play09:01

is comfortable with what the Israelis

play09:03

are doing that's my point the only way

play09:06

to put a stop to this is for the

play09:08

American people to raise their voices

play09:10

and say we don't want to be party to

play09:11

this operation it is inconsistent with

play09:14

our views of what is morally right or

play09:17

wrong but it hasn't happened no no there

play09:21

there's somewhat of a movement in

play09:23

Michigan which has a probably the

play09:26

largest uh Palestinian or Arab uh

play09:30

population base of any State uh in the

play09:32

union but it doesn't seem to have uh

play09:35

motivated the president at all by the

play09:38

way know we should note that Americans I

play09:41

think if they were asked are equally

play09:42

opposed to the goals of Hamas and other

play09:45

like-minded organizations that want to

play09:47

rid the Middle East of Jews we don't

play09:50

support that we would not stand by and

play09:52

allow that to happen uh I don't think we

play09:55

should stand by do nothing and allow

play09:56

this to happen I would simply urge the

play09:59

president to stop lying to the American

play10:01

people along with all of his colleagues

play10:04

all of whom have benefited enormously

play10:06

from the money poured into their

play10:08

organizations from the lobby and and

play10:11

Israel's agents in the United States and

play10:13

simply say if you're going to persist in

play10:16

this you're going to have to do it alone

play10:18

we're not going to underwrite it we're

play10:20

not going to support it I mean I'm

play10:22

certainly not advocating that we should

play10:24

commit forces to stop it I don't believe

play10:26

in that I I didn't support that in the

play10:29

past I don't support it now but we

play10:31

should simply say that's completely

play10:33

inconsistent with our views of what is

play10:35

morally right and wrong and as the

play10:37

president I'm telling you right now if

play10:39

you persist we will withdraw our

play10:44

support there is no clear path for the

play10:47

release of the hostages without a

play10:51

substantial ceasefire and there is no

play10:54

willingness on the part of the Netanyahu

play10:56

government for a ceasefire the ice CJ

play10:59

which is part of the United Nations has

play11:01

said stop the genocide uh and report

play11:04

back is there uh any fear on the part of

play11:09

Washington that its Senior People Biden

play11:14

blinkin Austin are supporting

play11:17

genocide well first of all the word

play11:19

genocide was not used as far as I can

play11:22

tell in the final Judgment of the

play11:23

international criminal court or court of

play11:26

justice which I think is one of the

play11:28

reasons that the the findings were 16

play11:31

to1 if the word genocide had been

play11:33

included there would have been sub more

play11:35

numbers of Judges who would have

play11:37

descended from the ultimate decision so

play11:40

I you know we use we I I have never used

play11:43

the word

play11:44

genocide genocide to me is H on a much

play11:47

larger scale now that doesn't mean that

play11:50

it will not be achieved in Gaza I think

play11:52

that's a very real possibility for that

play11:54

matter on the West Bank but at this

play11:57

point uh I think Israel managed to skate

play12:00

if you will in front of the

play12:02

international court of justice and most

play12:04

Americans have paid little or no

play12:06

attention Americans are currently

play12:08

focused on the southern border what's

play12:10

happening down there I think in that

play12:11

sense Americans are finally beginning to

play12:14

wake up to something that I and others

play12:16

have been talking about for years that's

play12:18

a good thing but they're not too

play12:20

terribly concerned about the Israelis

play12:22

and what they do until of course we are

play12:25

drawn into war in the region that's

play12:26

another matter entirely and we're very

play12:28

close to that we'll get to that in just

play12:30

a moment is Israel no longer feared by

play12:34

other Middle Eastern State actors I I

play12:38

think that uh the Middle East its Elites

play12:42

certainly the governments of uh Egypt

play12:45

Jordan uh Syria Saudi Arabia the

play12:48

Emirates uh Lebanon no doubt they all

play12:51

want to avoid a regional War they want

play12:55

to avoid it because they know what the

play12:57

damage will be to their infrastructure

play12:59

they know the consequences for their

play13:02

populations and I think they fear their

play13:04

removal but the point is that events are

play13:08

moving to that precipice of removing

play13:11

them as it is the populations in the

play13:15

region the Muslim Arabs in particular

play13:17

and the Turks I would say are very close

play13:19

to it are so angry and so enraged

play13:22

they're ready to fight regardless of

play13:24

what the costs are to destroy Israel I

play13:27

think this is something everybody misses

play13:30

uh Mr Netanyahu in my judgment was wrong

play13:33

when he said destroying Hamas and

play13:35

removing the population in Gaza was an

play13:38

existential requirement for the state of

play13:40

Israel I don't think it was I think he

play13:41

could have scaled back his objectives

play13:44

and achieved a degree of security that

play13:47

that could have been infinitely better

play13:49

than what already exists there were

play13:51

things that could be done that's gone

play13:53

now he's he's given the final answer

play13:57

it's his way or the highway as a result

play14:00

increasingly across the Middle East

play14:01

everyone who is in a power in power

play14:04

Authority is privately saying syes Pico

play14:07

is over in other words we will no longer

play14:09

tolerate this Israeli State and they are

play14:12

moving towards a state of War across the

play14:15

region which will culminate I think in

play14:18

the destruction of Israel I don't think

play14:20

we can stop

play14:22

it what is the uh

play14:26

significance uh or what will be the

play14:28

significance of the American response to

play14:32

the deaths of uh three soldiers and the

play14:35

injury of

play14:37

34 uh at some Outpost uh in the middle

play14:40

of nowhere uh at the Jordan Syrian

play14:45

border the the deaths of these soldiers

play14:48

and I think some of them may be from the

play14:49

California National Guard I've been

play14:51

trying to find out by the way uh will be

play14:55

potentially used as a justification for

play14:57

further escalation against Iran as we

play15:00

know the the desire to wage war in Iran

play15:03

has been going on for two decades we

play15:06

forget the how

play15:07

much support and sustainment and

play15:10

equipment and training we pumped into

play15:13

Saddam Hussein's regime in his war

play15:16

against Iran that killed hundreds of

play15:18

thousands of Iranians and at the time we

play15:21

applauded we thought it was wonderful

play15:23

Henry Kissinger thought the war was

play15:24

great because it was killing large

play15:26

numbers not only of Iranians but also

play15:29

Arabs uh that cynicism has not been

play15:32

forgotten the notion that the hostility

play15:35

we are dealing with today simply began

play15:38

last week is wrong but we need to

play15:40

understand that Iran is telling the

play15:42

truth when it says it did not order

play15:44

explicitly these Iraqi resistance

play15:47

organizations or Shiite milit militias

play15:50

to attack us they did not the

play15:52

intelligence committee has already

play15:53

stated that we have to understand that

play15:56

these are Arab militias the Arab Arabs

play15:59

in y in the hoodis the Arabs in southern

play16:02

Lebanon Hezbollah the Arabs in Iraq and

play16:05

Syria they are all anti-israeli why are

play16:09

they attacking us because we are

play16:12

unconditionally supporting the

play16:13

destruction of the Arab population in

play16:16

Gaza if that were to Halt or at least we

play16:20

were to do what I just stated earlier

play16:23

essentially say we're not going to be a

play16:24

party to this the attacks on us would

play16:26

end this is there is no desire on the

play16:29

part of Iran or anyone else in the

play16:30

region to go to war with us we however

play16:33

have been Desperately Seeking this

play16:34

opportunity looking for an excuse is

play16:37

this enough I don't know you have to

play16:39

look at American opinion polls and

play16:41

remember we always have what about a

play16:43

third of the electorate that cheers

play16:45

regardless of whom we bomb I mean if we

play16:47

bombed Panama tomorrow morning a third

play16:49

of the electorate would stand up and say

play16:50

oh it's wonderful I'm it's great right

play16:53

Americans have no fear of War because it

play16:56

always happens on someone else's soil

play16:59

and that is about to change if we attack

play17:03

Iran Senator Graham has said we should

play17:06

bomb Tron no surprise that he would say

play17:09

it as absurd as it is but if we do

play17:12

anything like that what will Iran do

play17:15

attack

play17:17

Israel I I think we will pay a heavy

play17:19

price Iran has an enormous arsenal of

play17:23

missiles I urge everyone to go online

play17:26

it's very easy to find out and look at

play17:28

this enormous tinal thousands of very

play17:32

precise very destructive theater

play17:34

ballistic missiles as well as tactical

play17:37

ballistic missiles they have cruise

play17:40

missile technology infinite numbers of

play17:42

drones now what was fired I think was a

play17:45

crude tactical ballistic missile by

play17:48

these Shiite Arabs they've been given

play17:51

older technology and allowed to have

play17:53

that but the Iranians have not provided

play17:55

them with their top-of-the-line

play17:57

equipment

play17:59

if those are employed not only are they

play18:01

in a position to attack with great

play18:03

Precision all of our positions in the

play18:05

region remember we have about

play18:07

57,000 Americans in uniform in the

play18:11

region uh almost 30,000 or perhaps a

play18:14

little more are in uh bases that are

play18:18

sitting yes that's an excellent

play18:20

demonstration of what what exists go to

play18:23

the right and work your way down the

play18:24

ones to the right are what I would call

play18:27

blockbusters

play18:29

these These are missiles that would

play18:30

flatten cities flatten military

play18:33

installations destroy airfields Harbors

play18:36

there're all conventional Warheads but

play18:38

the destructive power is enormous and

play18:40

it's

play18:41

precise if if the Iranians shooted

play18:44

something they hit it they just

play18:45

demonstrated that a couple of weeks ago

play18:47

when they struck Targets in Syria and

play18:51

Iraq and list listen they could have

play18:53

done infinitely more damage I think they

play18:55

were all in Syria but they could have

play18:57

done much more damage they chose not to

play19:00

when you destroy a mad position with a

play19:04

Kurdish man and his family who are mad

play19:07

agents and that is in close proximity to

play19:09

the United States Embassy you demolish

play19:12

the house kill everybody in it but you

play19:14

do no damage to anything that is

play19:16

American or American Personnel that

play19:18

should tell everyone they have

play19:20

extraordinary technology that can be

play19:23

used against us all over the region they

play19:25

have Hypersonic missiles now these are

play19:28

Chinese manufacturer but they are of a

play19:30

Russian invention originally and these

play19:33

Hypersonic missiles are in a position to

play19:36

strike targets at Sea and there's no way

play19:39

to shoot them down or defend against

play19:40

them you have a British aircraft carrier

play19:43

an American aircraft carrier in the Red

play19:45

Sea uh or the Indian Ocean they can be

play19:49

targeted because everyone now has access

play19:51

to overhead surveillance overhead

play19:54

surveillance with the kind of uh ability

play19:58

to read the names on

play20:00

gravestones that did not exist in those

play20:03

countries 20 years ago so their

play20:05

targeting is very precise and ships at

play20:07

Sea regardless of whether they're

play20:09

nuclear or conventionally powered are

play20:12

slow these are slow moving targets

play20:15

anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy and

play20:18

and the point is that these Hypersonic

play20:20

missiles can adjust so if they fire

play20:23

these things they will hit their targets

play20:26

they then and you mentioned is is if the

play20:28

Israelis are participating with us in

play20:31

direct strikes on Iran then I think the

play20:34

the Arsenal will be launched in great

play20:37

quantities from numerous different

play20:38

locations all of which we cannot be

play20:41

positively identified and they will

play20:43

reduce most of Israel to ashes as we

play20:47

speak literally as we speak Republican

play20:50

and Democratic members of Congress are

play20:52

calling the White House and saying

play20:54

attack attack attack we have to look

play20:57

strong

play20:58

what would you advise the president to

play21:01

do would you say take those 57,000

play21:04

troops and bring them home immediately

play21:06

oh yes in fact that's what Donald Trump

play21:08

wanted to do in November of 2020 of

play21:13

course he had tried earlier he failed

play21:16

because he didn't understand that simply

play21:18

giving an order meant nothing in

play21:20

Washington in the federal bureaucracy

play21:22

you have to follow up you have to hold

play21:25

the Military Officers and the diplomats

play21:28

accountable who systematically avoid

play21:30

executing your order he wanted our

play21:32

forces out of Syria he wanted them out

play21:34

of Iraq and he had good reason for that

play21:37

because these little Penny packets of

play21:39

forces are easy

play21:41

targets again it's back to something we

play21:43

we just don't say enough we have been

play21:46

facing opponents without armies Air

play21:49

Forces air

play21:51

defenses that is about to end Iran

play21:55

turkey certainly Hezbollah these are

play21:58

real forces with real capability we

play22:01

haven't had to face that by the way

play22:02

neither have the Israelis and the

play22:04

Israelis would be the first to tell you

play22:05

privately that too many of their

play22:07

soldiers and officers have spent too

play22:09

much policing policing people on the

play22:13

West Bank and around Gaza they're not

play22:15

accustomed to a full-up allout war and

play22:19

that's what they're asking for and

play22:21

they'll get it if they don't stop and we

play22:23

are going to get it and remember hisbah

play22:26

has substantial facilities

play22:28

and concentrations of people in

play22:31

Mexico so do islamists who are Sunni

play22:35

Muslims in Mexico we don't even know who

play22:39

has actually entered the United States I

play22:41

mean no one seemed to care when

play22:44

thousands of uh military age men from

play22:47

China and other countries entered the

play22:50

United States nobody seems to have

play22:51

gotten very exercised until quite

play22:53

recently when they realized that Arabs

play22:55

and Iranians and others and melees and

play22:58

other Muslims from different parts of

play22:59

the country had also entered suddenly

play23:01

people are beginning to realize it well

play23:04

what about our nuclear power facilities

play23:06

what about our power grid what about the

play23:09

weapons that exist that are in the hands

play23:11

of the cartels now the cartels want to

play23:13

continue to infect us and destroy us

play23:16

with drugs because that's where they

play23:18

make their money but organized crime

play23:21

frequently cooperates for enough money

play23:25

with other entities State and non-state

play23:27

actors who have an interest in harming

play23:29

us we should not write off the very high

play23:32

probability that if this war goes

play23:34

forward we will face a second front

play23:36

along the Mexican border and potentially

play23:39

a third front inside the United States

play23:42

does Hezbollah and Mexico have the

play23:45

military equipment that Hezbollah and

play23:47

Lebanon

play23:48

has uh I first of all that's classified

play23:52

I'm sure people that that are operating

play23:54

in the intelligence committees can give

play23:56

you a better answer all I can tell you

play23:59

is that certainly in terms of

play24:00

surveillance equipment Small Arms uh

play24:04

RPGs and uh some air shoulder fired air

play24:08

defense missiles they are extremely well

play24:10

equipped so are the cartels and they

play24:13

exchange data they exchange information

play24:16

they work together this is not a new

play24:18

phenomenon the IRA was working with

play24:20

islamis terrorist organizations in North

play24:23

Africa people were shocked well of

play24:25

course you know all of these various

play24:27

entities have agendas and they sometimes

play24:31

coincide what would you tell Joe Biden

play24:33

to

play24:35

do uh other than uh make arrangements to

play24:38

go to the nearest rest home you know I

play24:41

would certainly suggest that uh he stop

play24:44

harassing Texas and the other Republican

play24:46

state Governors uh that he stay away

play24:49

from the Texas National Guard let the

play24:52

Texas National Guard do its job of

play24:54

protecting those States and as far as

play24:56

New Mexico and California that

play24:58

apparently regard themselves as not

play25:00

really part of the United States and

play25:02

therefore don't care what happens to

play25:03

their borders we should consider putting

play25:05

federal troops there immediately I I

play25:07

meant what would you advise him to do

play25:09

with respect to uh Israel and the uh

play25:14

soldiers that were killed uh in Syria or

play25:17

Jordan wherever it was well first of all

play25:20

it would be very useful for us to

play25:22

privately behind the scenes Talk to

play25:25

these various actors but clear clearly

play25:28

there is no mission for US forces in the

play25:30

region on the ground in Iraq or Syria

play25:33

they're effectively magnets for attack

play25:36

they have been in that position now for

play25:38

quite a while there's nothing for them

play25:40

to do the Isis is not a big issue any

play25:43

longer between the Iranians and the

play25:46

Shiite militias they trained and the

play25:48

Russians Isis has been largely

play25:50

eliminated I know everyone likes to beat

play25:52

their chest and argue that we did the

play25:54

bulk of the work we did not was done by

play25:56

Iranians and Russia Russians and we

play25:58

worked with them by the way even the

play26:00

Iranians that we now want to attack uh

play26:04

people don't seem to get it and

play26:06

understand what's real and what isn't

play26:08

but the bottom line is we should get

play26:09

them out there's no reason for them to

play26:12

be there if Iran and Israel are in a war

play26:15

and we come to the aid uh of Israel will

play26:18

Russia get involved on the side of Iran

play26:21

well Russia has made it very clear that

play26:23

it regards Iran as a strategic partner

play26:26

of great importance there is an

play26:27

agreement that's on the table for

play26:29

Signature by Moscow that would

play26:32

effectively permanently

play26:34

arrange uh things to ensure that Russia

play26:37

does come to Iran's aid but I think

play26:39

that's a formality Russia will not stand

play26:42

by and allow us to destroy Iran they

play26:45

will provide Iran with whatever it needs

play26:47

to protect itself and they will stand by

play26:50

Iran by the way the Chinese who have

play26:52

critical interests in access to the

play26:55

Persian Gulf and access to to uh East

play26:58

Africa where they get great quantities

play27:01

of food will not stand by and do nothing

play27:04

while we force Iran to submit or die in

play27:08

which case Iran will fight and probably

play27:10

close the Suez uh you can write off the

play27:15

or excuse me not the Suz The Straits of

play27:18

Hormuz you can write off the Suz along

play27:20

with the

play27:22

uh you know the Straits down between

play27:26

Africa and Y

play27:28

which I think is called the Gate of

play27:29

tears those things will all be closed

play27:32

you know the Chinese have already taken

play27:35

actions to protect themselves by making

play27:37

it impossible for us to gain access to a

play27:40

number of Upstream minerals that we

play27:42

regard as essential to our national

play27:44

security and the building of military

play27:47

equipment they're concerned about what

play27:49

we're prepared to do we we need to back

play27:52

away from this this will become Regional

play27:55

and I would say semi global very quickly

play27:58

and the greatest danger is that the

play28:00

Israelis will respond but with the use

play28:02

of a nuclear weapon particularly as they

play28:04

watch their cities Tel Aviv hia and so

play28:07

forth largely annihilated by these

play28:09

arsenals of missiles and if that were to

play28:12

happen I think that that would have

play28:14

catastrophic consequences for Israel in

play28:16

the world far worse than anything we've

play28:18

seen thus far Colonel thank you very

play28:21

much you've just uh experienced the

play28:24

largest audience you've ever had on this

play28:27

show of those watching live which

play28:29

usually translates into an enormous

play28:31

audience of those who will be watching

play28:34

uh streaming uh thanks for your time

play28:36

thanks for your Insight uh we'll talk to

play28:38

you again soon my friend sure thank you

play28:41

judge of course

play28:43

byebye what a uh terrifying picture he

play28:46

painted but with such logic and

play28:49

precision uh and understanding coming up

play28:53

uh for the rest of this week uh all uh

play28:55

of your regulars Colonel quat Kowski uh

play29:00

Matt ho professor saaks professor Mir

play29:02

shimer and of course Scott Ritter judge
