hello and welcome to my new video if
you're new here hi i'm lex and
happy new year this is my first video in
2022 and i figured what better way to
celebrate the new year than to make a
video with
some of my best creator friends in the
animal crossing community we are going
to talk about tips for
starting off your island whether you are
brand new to animal crossing or
you've just restarted whatever the case
here are some tips to really help you
maximize your efficiency as a player
because that's the goal right not to
have fun but to be efficient
i'm just kidding these tips will help
you have fun too they're also really
creative
really in-depth and
some of them are hilarious so without
further ado let's get started and thank
you to all of the creators who
participated in today's video i'll start
with my own tip and that is to speak to
timmy at the very beginning of the game
and buy yourself a swimsuit as you know
at the very beginning of the game you
can't access beyond the river mouths
where the river runs it prevents you
from getting to the rest of your island
but if you buy this swimsuit you can go
diving and you can actually swim in the
ocean to get around the river mouth
instead of waiting for
a vaulting pole this is really nifty
because you can go ahead and access this
part of your island you can see what
your native flower is you can go ahead
and pick all of the weeds in this area
to help your island raiding it's just
really convenient and i think it's cool
to be able to explore more of your
island that means more places for
planting for placing houses etc and of
course if you have friends and nintendo
online membership you could also talk to
a friend and have them give you a ladder
for the cliffs hey everyone it's kato i
heard that you just got animal crossing
new horizons well congratulations but
before you get started i have something
to tell you i just want to let you know
how important it is when you're choosing
your map there are a few things that you
cannot change once you're on your island
and i just need you to be aware that one
of those main things is the location of
resident services
i recommend choosing a location where
the resident services is far away from
the airport and if you didn't get an
option like that in your first try just
close out of the game and restart and
you will get four new maps to choose
from good luck with your island
designing and thank you so much to lex
for including me in this video
hi it's cozy shy and let's get into my
tips for a new island i would suggest to
place all of your villager homes on the
beaches this helps with planning your
island and saving bills on moving the
homes later on also you only need to
invite the initial eight villagers when
starting an island so you don't need the
full 10 when reaching 3 stars you can
also place the buildings like the shop
or the museum
i hope these tips have helped some of
you and good luck on starting your
island goodbye
[Music]
hi it's me amanda from the amandaphiles
which is my youtube channel
i'm so awkward my new island tip for you
is to buy everything you can every
single day do not be responsible with
your bells don't be shy develop a
shopping addiction now why am i
promoting this because it's actually a
very savvy and smart thing to do
whenever you purchase or even pick up an
item you actually catalog that item into
your own nook shopping inventory that's
available on your little nook phone or
at the kiosk it basically exists now in
your world and you can order it anytime
from nook shopping so even though i know
you have a vision believe me and even
though you don't think you're ever going
to need an ugly metal stepladder on your
fairy court island buy it it's so much
better to have tons of stuff cataloged
in there if you need it so buy those
pesky little nook twins out every time
yay capitalism
hi i'm ej you're you um and welcome to
lex's channel my tip for you i'm going
to present in the form of
a song
i hope you enjoy
hey there gamer how are you busy playing
ac2 don't you hate it when you want to
build but you don't have the right
materials well i've got a way to kick it
go and get yourself a nook miles ticket
fly through the air to an untouched land
what are you to do on the ground that
you stand
oh
well you do
[Music]
that's the end of my tip i hope you
enjoyed it
hi i'm ciana and the tip that i want to
share is about taking advantage of
selling turnips on your island aka the
stock market so every sunday morning
daisy may will come visit your island
and sell turnips beginning the next
monday morning you can offer to sell
those turnips at nook's cranny for a
profit as long as you sell them for more
bills than you bought them for you'll be
making easy money keep in mind that your
nook's cranny's buying price will change
daily so sell your turnips when the
price is high another thing to know is
that your turnips will rot a week from
the date that you bought them so make
sure to sell them within that week you
really can get so many bells just by
using the stock market so try it out
also thank you so so much to lex for
letting me be a part of this collab
hello friends i'm koi over here at
kuyakoi on youtube and my tip is to face
your fears don't be afraid to get stung
in the game especially when you're just
starting your island life if you haven't
done it yet painting due to being stung
will give you up to 600 nook miles
300 from loss and 300 from tarantulas or
scorpions so shake those trees with your
bare hands and run around with nets in
hand and just wait for those sweet sweet
miles after getting stung of course
hey pixie butter here and if you are
starting a new island you're definitely
going to need a lot of materials so my
tip is when you come across a rock don't
immediately break it to get the max
materials i like to dig a line of holes
behind me to keep me in place while i
hit the rock so that way i don't scoot
too far away and miss some materials
and if you like as a bonus after you got
all your materials from the rock you can
eat a piece of fruit and hit it one more
time for that final last material but be
warned once you break the rock it's
going to appear in a different location
the next day hope this helps good luck
bye
hi friends my name is kate colleen and a
really awesome trick i wish i knew when
i first started animal crossing was to
shake all of your trees yes you heard
that correctly
shake every single tree on your island
because you can get
bells from it and furniture items as
well this is a task that you can do
daily on your island so every single day
you will get bells and furniture and oh
my god be sure to hold your net while
you do this so that you can catch the
wasp and not get stung
all right thank you guys so much for
listening and on to the next tip and
trick hello everyone my name is nifina
and my tip for you is to buy
all the food in the game so what you're
going to want to do is go to notes
regardless whether you've upgraded it or
not go talk to timmy go do whatever you
need to and buy the food that is
available in your nooks why is you may
ask because you're going to need to be
able to move them trees and then rocks
when you get to the point of you know
starting to think about terraforming and
you may not have the availability to get
turnips so my advice to you is buy the
food buy the food eat the food it gives
you good amounts of stamina it's pretty
cheap on prices and you got to keep that
shopping addiction you know keep that
shopping addiction and then you'll be
salted hi everyone my name is infinity
and my tip for starting a new island is
if you want to keep blathers in his tent
and not upgrade the museum have a friend
bring you a vaulting pool and a ladder
so you can access the back part of your
island and your cliffs prior to placing
blathers because once he's placed you
can't move him and you also won't have
brewster if blather stays in his tent
good luck on starting or restarting your
island and a huge thank you to lex for
letting me be a part of this video bye
hey it's kuri and i'm here to talk to
you about nook miles if you start a new
island you'll learn pretty quickly what
nook miles are and just how important it
is to collect them well my biggest tip
is to never stop collecting them after
you work through nook and his tasks
he'll give you extra bonus points for
nook miles you can do daily some are
worth up to five times the points so be
sure to do them every single day make
them part of your play schedule because
you will use them for so many things
from villager hunting tickets to
furniture and now to captain's island
it's best to keep the income of nook
miles flowing with tasks that really
don't take too long so be sure to keep
up that daily grind
hi i'm rosalind or rosa and one of my
favorite things to do in animal crossing
is to complete the museum if you catch a
bug fish or sea creature you haven't
caught before your character will say
yes if your character does that be sure
to donate it to the museum as fast as
you can so you don't accidentally sell
it
if you accidentally do sell it though no
worries you can always check your
critter pedia to see which creatures you
have donated donated creatures have an
owl icon good luck
it's ceo here and my tip if you're
starting a new island is to prioritize
getting more durable tools the tools
first available to you in game are some
of the weakest and include the flimsy
net flimsy shovel flimsy axe and flimsy
watering can they'll break after 7 to 40
uses which isn't that much especially if
you're using them a lot to build up your
island in its first stages and make
bells in the beginning when you unlock a
more durable tool or its diy it's
definitely worth the upfront investment
for a greater return in the end durable
tools also allow you to keep playing
without the need to continuously craft
new tools when they break i hope this
tip helps you and thank you to lex for
including me in this collab hi i'm
angela and i am donny whether this is
your first time playing or starting a
brand new island you're going to need
all the bells nook loves the bells a
great way to make a bunch of bells is to
save all of your captured bugs and
fishies to sell to flick and cj when
they finally visit your island yes avoid
the nook twins they don't give enough
but it does mean your island may look
like this but i mean you could always
just throw this stuff on your beaches
too exactly because your inventory
always says this
black but it'll all be worth it when
they finally visit your island and you
make all that monies
[Music]
now go pay off your debts
hey everybody i'm wilbow and my tip is
to always dig up the glowing spot that
you could find on your island once per
day when you find a glowing spot you'll
be able to dig it up for 1 000 bills but
don't just cover up the hole after
you're done or bury the same thousand
bells you just picked up i recommend
burying 10 000 bills so that you get the
max amount of profit from your money
tree that will eventually grow when you
bury the bells in this glowing spot
you'll be able to move this money
sapling as well if you want to but just
don't move it to near a cliff's edge or
near another sapling otherwise the tree
will not grow in three days you'll get a
money tree with a one-time harvest of 10
000 bells per bag
and that is all we have for you today
i would also like to wish you good luck
with your new island if you're just
starting or have just restarted um
yeah thank you so much for watching
today and again thank you to all of the
incredible creators who contributed to
this video you can check all of them out
in the description i highly recommend
each and every one of their channels uh
yeah i hope you have a beautiful start
to your new year tell me in the comments
if there are any tips you think we
missed that are super important for new
players and here is my little sister
peaches to tell you all goodbye for now
i love you guys so much and i just
wanted to say happy new year everyone i
love you guys so much i'll see you in
the next one bye
[Music]
