uh my name is Nick cesses I own
Mid-Atlantic Sports Consultants we've
been in business for about 13 years uh
we work with high school athletes and
their families as well as some college
athletes and some pro athletes in
helping them find the right fit for
college or if they're transferring to go
to another institution so as how long
have I been a member at Venture X I've
been here since August of 2023 and prior
to that I was with office Evolution uh
for about two years I had not had any
experience with co-working I
traditionally had always a single office
or an office where everyone in similar
backgrounds was located so this was a
new experience for me uh both with
office Evolution and Venture x uh in
terms of how we meet with clients and
and utilize the space we have a variety
of things we've got clients that are
local um so we'll tend to use the
conference rooms here we'll reserve them
um we have international clients and
athletes so we'll set up Zoom calls and
we'll do that through the office and the
internet connection that we have um and
then if we have coaches or other
individuals that are here in town
will'll come to the office and either
meet them in the cafeteria area or
reserve a conference room so we can talk
in terms of the staff one of the things
that I was looking for was a place where
everyone gets along uh even even though
there's businesses with different
backgrounds um the community that we
have at Venture X is diverse but
everyone seems to get along I love the
fact that they'll do events like
Thanksgiving or Valentine's Day and
they'll have you know things going on in
the cafeteria that's where we kind of
meet each other and catch up but at the
same time everyone has a good respect
for each other in terms of privacy and
their business setting if anyone's
thinking about doing co-working space or
something like Venture X I 100% uh
encourage it I've been in law practice
before I've had the sports business um I
think it's a great place where you can
function you can grow your business and
at the same time meet people who aren't
necessarily in the same field I think
that's sometimes a break uh in terms of
membership I have a private office um
and I love it because I also have
interns and so the interns will
manipulate or use the spaces out here um
that are like phone booths or open areas
where there are desks so they have their
space I have mine uh and it works out
great
