questions how have you been consistently

you feel when you saw the result from

each exams how would you felt when you

saw your jam your wife and your existing

say 351 and when I saw like oh my God

am very grateful like I'm just happy

that all my hard work paid off and for

waec I I expected it if I had got

anything like less than it is I would

have not been happy with the results so

like I really work hard to get that and

for your GC you write it in SST when

you're in University normally it was

actually ss3 first term

yes yes but for the jam you didn't see

that coming no at all I was not

actually released the first thing but I

believe you'll be somewhere around the

first 20 on the list so

I'm going to just go with the questions

that people ask on social media and some

of the questions I personally have for

myself so the first question is how did

you prepare for your work how did you

prepare for it

let's start with that

okay so should I talk about why I can

jump or just okay yeah yeah you could

just talk about everything since you

prepared for all of them at about the

same time

right yeah and the seller goes for jump

and white is quite similar though so you

could just go either talk about boats

all right so for work it's not like

purely my work because I started from

school you know my teachers like they

teach they give you know classworks

assignments tests exams and things like

that and I feel like they had like a

really really great impact on My Success

they they really like I wanted to be

like really motivated me that I can

shoot for like a very high school in

fact the one that needs to get nine is I

don't know why English had to film me

what I have actually someone commented

give you the in English like how would

they do that I mean why credit I meant

why they are supposed to just give you

that in English right it was it was

painful but at least it was better than

GC as me I got more than GC then that

would have been really really bad okay

it was still okay so for Jam I did a lot

of self-study because Jam was like it

was a bit outside of school curriculum

yeah so how I studied first things first

I just go through my notes and like the

first thing I did was to go through the

the syllabus

okay oh jam then I go through what I

have been taught in school and what I

have not been taught you know things

that are in my notes and things that are

not there and then I start with other

things I've not been told like I use

like my textbook I go to like my best

friend doing Jam I think I used lamlad

for my chemistry physics and and

Mathematics then for English I used um

invisible teacher then jumpsuits of

English because like they were like my

best friends dance like I used my

textbook a lot for jam and like when

I didn't do a lot of past questions and

jump

because I know people that this the the

dependence solely on past questions and

I don't think it really helped but like

what I did when I go through a topic I

would like okay go up and check the

topic and they jump past questions my

jamb booklet had like a list of all the

topics and the years and questions that

they were in and like that was what I

did and also the TTA group right it was

very very helpful it was even true today

that I came across um the lambler text

books and you know many past questions

and tutorials like things that you know

every move before that's cool and um why

act two similar things you know past

questions and study but I think one

thing that really helped me was that I I

already had like a solid foundation or

in this subject from essence

did you attend

I attended Home Science Association

Secondary School in Alaska state yeah

kudos to your teachers they did a great

job yes they really did a great job

because when I was studying for Jam like

I would meet people that would ask me

okay may you please help me to solve

this question and like I know study did

not understand the basics so I did a lot

of the last minute studying exam and I

felt if I did not have like a solid

foundation before and it could have not

been like achieved so much in like such

small time yeah

yeah so the solid foundation is very

necessary yeah

and

so how long did it take you to prepare

for your jump and for why for why I

would say that I know that it took you

the all of your secondary school because

it's a continuous thing so but for Jam

that is a little outside the no it's

within the secondary school curriculum

but you know there's a difference yeah

so how long did it take you how many

months precisely did it take you do you

think it took you to prepare for okay so

for Jam my school started jamb classes

in January Okay and like I was just and

then we also have a normal classes so it

goes like jam a normal class like I was

just like trying to balance it too but

like about USD in SST when you wrote Jam

yes I was I was my sister

so about a month to jam that was when I

sat down like hey this thing is cereal

so like it is real and like I was really

really scared I was going to feel I

think that was what even made me like

read a lot like I was scared that

because people already expected me to to

have good like a teacher called me

behind and told me that you must not get

anything less than 3 30. so like that

was what people made me set my go to

three tests and I was looking at this

one like are you sure it's possible I'm

like I already know a lot of people they

had High Hopes And I could not like let

them down so like I sat down and I said

okay we have to start um practicing like

real hard I have started reviewing

whatever I've been told apps like doing

my own self study that was even how I

went to YouTube and I came across on

your Channel that I was able to get a

link to the ttas

um WhatsApp group

so I started practices for drama while a

month like serious study about a month

to jump yeah yeah like one can take away

from what you just said is like

preparing it is very important to have

the basic knowledge fundamentals of all

the Soviets you are doing another thing

is like networking meeting other

students who can actually be a very

helpful like the way the group was

helpful to you

so if you are preparing for for people

that will be preparing for the

subsequent exams try to connect with

fellow yeah students it's very very

important to connect to because it

really helped me okay so um the next

question is and this was a very common

question many people would like to know

how you actually study what technique do

you use and like some of the questions I

think one particular question was like

what's

what techniques do you use What secrets

do you have that is making you

consistently do well

okay so I think the first thing when you

want to study is is to know what you

actually want to do like what you want

to study for my jam I did math physics

chemistry and English so like the two

subject I was very good at were math and

physics and chemistry and individual

like some of my weaknesses so when I

started studying for Jam I knew I had to

work a lot on English and chemistry so

next thing I did I sat down like a

suitable time I like to read in the

night like in the midnight because it's

always very very quiet and cool and like

it's only me like I set my study to like

around that one a.m to maybe four and I

do a little you know work the most of my

work is like during those hours

now next thing I've said earlier that

you should go through the syllabus

because they were something that

normally if I studied on my own without

going to the syllables I would have

skipped them like going through the

syllables talking to no okay these

topics were important so

go through past questions not for

studying but to know the pattern of

questions and to know which questions

are most likely to come out because over

and you go to prescription over the

years you know how questions come out

how they set questions like there are

some topics that they will not ask you

to define something like there's a way

to you know say the questions so there

are some questions that once you just

see the question you already know what

the answer is even without looking at

the options now my study techniques I

like to read from a lot of textbooks

but like during that month I did not

have a lot of time so that was why I

employed um lamlad because lambland is

it is I don't know I don't know how to

put it it is like descriptive but also

very short and it helps like grasp

things a lot and there are also practice

questions at the end of each topic so as

I'm studying I did most of my things

from lamblad so like if I talk I want to

study this topic I go to them like has

to say then go to jump past questions

like practice like some questions so

when you have a short time don't waste a

lot of time doing only past questions

because there are some questions that

like in in some questions like I think

let me take all inclusive physics for

example like it can have like a lot of

questions on a particular topic but if

you know you will notice that like five

questions they are the same pattern it's

just the figures that were changed so

don't wait a lot of time doing things

that you know doesn't do diverting known

and like focus on like you know more

important things yeah yeah

so for English

that one it really gave me a lot of

headacheco in fact my English I think it

was English was one way I did most of my

past questions because English does not

have one definite path to follow you

have to be like diverse you have to go

through about different things so

English I had a book where I like jotted

down a lot of things especially those

words those big grammar like they draw

down their meanings they are maybe their

applications synonyms and antonyms and

things like that I I still have the

bookshelf and for my life changer that

life changer ah

I already like maybe like two weeks like

I read legendary before around December

but like so I felt like I knew it so I

didn't need to read it again and then I

never answered one question like I do

not know it's a simple question like so

I went to live video I started writing

every single detail even from the color

of the clothes and everything so I feel

like you should just try to be extensive

but also try to like cut down a lot of

jump because most of the things in some

past questions you don't need them

all right so the next question is how

many hours do you read each day like on

normal when when we're not preparing for

this exams when you're in secondary

school how frequent do you read and how

many hours does it take you to read and

during this exam period how many hours

did you read then

okay so when I was in school I was

mostly like

um spend my time after school doing

assignments and studying for tests but

let's say I get them around six I

probably start reading around eight to

like whenever I get tired which is

around maybe 10 to 11 then sometimes I

mean I like wake up early the next day

maybe around three or four before like I

started preparing for school around five

but like during Jam I had like these two

weeks my school let us stay at home for

two weeks before jam and like I had like

a lot of free time so like I need like a

normal school period I wake up five like

I start reading around maybe like that's

seven to

or maybe in the afternoon but like

between those hours I obviously take

breaks so let's say on a normal school

day

apart from school at home maybe like

three to four hours then weekends is

like more than that obviously then when

I was at home

I don't really know but let me just say

eight it might not be better

now it's but let me just look around

that thing because in the afternoon I

don't really do a lot of study like that

in the afternoon it's mostly in the

middle that's when I can really

concentrate

so how many hours do you sleep

you said you were okay when I was in

school I used to sleep in class A lot

because I don't sleep a lot I don't know

I don't even know how many hours but I

know I don't sleep in maybe like if I if

I slip off I sleep off for my work maybe

like 11 12 well I also have to wake up

five in the morning so get ready for

school so you can calculate that yeah

but like during that jam I I I did take

my sleep I slept I know I slept now yeah

sleep is important to make sure you

sleep too as you read and sleep well

because I'm kind of an advocate for

sleep

all right so

um the next question is what advice

would you be having for students

Secondary School students saying that

stay in secondary school that are going

to be taking this exams in the future

what advice you have for them

so first things first don't see that

something you cannot achieve because

I've heard people that'll be like ah 351

you you are not in our league or you

were created by someone else it's not

God that made this or no but like like

they can't do like there was this girl

in my jump center before we started the

exam she told me that I cut off Mark for

our school was 200 and she was aiming

for a score of 216. and that's why 260

why not 300 like the highest score in

Germany is 400 and most people get

around that you know 200 and something

so like if you now reduce your own

threshold to 260. what are you now going

to get like she had already like you

know rubbish like Shadow any like

reduced herself from the start even

before the exam so don't do that always

like know that you can do with adequate

preparation you can do it now second I

think you should um

prepare for the worst jamb exam ever

like see your exam as like the most

difficult Jam that will ever come out

like and like use that as motivation to

really really you know study and pray

for the best like so like what you're

doing you're preparing for like the most

difficult example you're praying to God

that you get you know easy questions

because I feel like you know we all did

different jumps so my questions were

questions that they were not easy

questions but like there were questions

that I knew and I knew how to solve I

even had problems during my example like

because I already knew them it was easy

for me to like you know find my way

through so always prefer Pro the most

difficult exams now three you should

start your preparation early I think

that was one of the mistakes I made in

Jam but my advantage was that I already

had a good foundation so start early

like I think it's three months to your

exam especially if you have not been in

school for a long time so you can know

how you know how to go about it then my

last one

try to connect with other Jam bites with

other students that are also writing the

exams whether it is and try to know

things from their own point of view and

if you are a good student try to

practice by teaching others yeah because

when I was in TTA there are people that

would contact me okay let's do this

study thing let's read those words and

like even me as I would like explaining

things to them there were things I was

learning along the person and there are

things that like they do just never

leave you because you already it's

already past and possible with you so I

try to teach others connect with other

people and if you need help and you know

you truly need help you should meet your

teachers if you're still in school or

your classmates that you know they know

it or you should go for tutorials some

people I don't know they don't really

like people for tutorial don't sit down

at them I've been reading past questions

if you know you need help go for

tutorials if you know you can do it on

your own then do it on your own yeah

age limit is like it's not going to be
