And this might be very hard for some people.

who's afraid to even look at yourself in the mirror.

you'll never be able to be fully accountable

and fully be self aware.

And that is the hard work that I'm talking about.

You need to be able to do this.

But you either have to learn how to do the hard work

coping mechanisms that you've learned instead.

And just, rot into passivity, right?

You have to face some of these things head on.

Do you live in a state of clutter and messiness?

I know what you’re thinking some people think like, oh,

That is, that’s severe coping because I've gone through it

and I can like live in this messy bedroom and

That's not working for you.

like, Big Food, these corporations, these companies,

they spend so much money,

billions of dollars trying to figure out

what makes people want to grab the food off the shelves.

They spend so much money on focus groups, food scientists

in the food labs

that are experimenting

with all these different

kinds of potato chips

to see which one gives you the most satisfying crunch.

Literally, people are banking

and capitalizing off of your passiveness

and your wants for convenience. Your want for cope.

And food truly is like the modern designer drug.

They spend so much money on the color

and the design packages

and color of the food and the texture and the taste

to make you feel good.

It's designed to make you like want more and crave more

so you become addicted.

And that one aspect of addiction will lead to another
