currently checking out of the

hostel we have a train to go catch the

city is much nicer earlier in the

morning before the sun has had a chance

everything this hostel is great it's

it is crazy to me that this car is still

here okay pretty sure we still have to

go through TSA and have all of our stuff

metal detected okay we're good and then

this place sells really great hot

sandwiches can I get this and two of

these thank you okay we have a really

long train ride so this is the only food

we're going to be getting probably until

train I am actually not sure which train

I'm supposed to be on here we go this is

the right train

there okay now what we need to do is go

walk to the storage shed and pick up the

bike regretfully it is hot as

outside right

now luckily the warehouse is pretty

close to the train station I did not

know that before I planned any of this

it's just really convenient I thought

I'd have to walk a lot

farther we able just sit down and wait I

guess yes perfect and then we will just

slowly pull it out okay we have the bike

perfect got the kickstand up I am so

glad I don't need to carry the stupid

jacket around anymore

okay we are about 1 and 1 half miles

away from our hotel we have a half

charge I think we're good let's

go Okay Google map says that we are

staying here somewhere okay this is the

one that's listed on Google Maps but I

don't see anybody here to welcome us so

I'm going to see if I can figure this

out of my

own um uh hello I'm here I'm at the

apartment

bike is fine over there there's a store

here I want to see if I can get

between all five of the units so we can

heated I thought we were going to have

another Australian Campground type

situation because I booked this place

specifically because they said they had

a washing machine on the booking.com

listing that was a thing that they said

that they had I've been in the same

clothes for like a couple of days all my

clothes are dirty I need a washing

machine um they don't have one I thought

it was like under the sink or something

the listing says it has it so when I

went up to her I'm like Hey where's the

washing machine did I like miss it and

she's like no you don't have one I'm

like but it but it says that I do where

is it she's like no no I have one I have

one for me you don't uh and I'm like

okay I want my money back I need to

cancel this I need to find a place with

a washing machine I can't stay here for

multiple days with dirty clothes and so

it went back and forth got pretty heated

eventually she's like hey I will just

wash your clothes for you so she's using

her personal washing machine to wash my

clothes that might become a problem in

the future but I can probably last a

couple of days on my current clothes

okay let's go get everything off of the

bike now yeah so I'm glad she decided to

wash them that's she didn't need to she

could have just been like no you don't

get your money back and no you can't

wash your clothes if if a host lies on

booking.com there's not like a whole lot

of recourse you have especially if you

paid in cash I have my original

sunscreen the sunscreen that I bought

there we got an air pump oh yeah I need

the

Chargers actually charge the batteries

okay I'm not going to lie I missed

this aside from that washing machine

this place is perfect it's got a

bathtub just a sec my stuff is dirty

because

it's let's get all this mud off of it

clothes have finished washing we don't

really have a clothes dryer so we're

just going to hang them up on the

railing the newest episode of the boys

just aired yesterday we are going to go

watch it in the bathtub I don't know how

I feel about this new season I feel like

the writing is a little bit worse but

I'm happy that the seasons are

continuing happy I'm happy to be back in

that Universe actually I realized I've

got a TV right here I'm just going to

watch it on the TV star she just want in

I bet my laundry is done drying no see I

thought about staying here for like a

longer period of time but honestly I

just get bored I was sitting in my

hostel all nice and comfortable with my

book just thinking about how I want like

more Adventure being able to rent an

apartment for $30 a night is great but

it needs to be interjected in between

like bouts of of challenging activities

I think that I want to do this like 2

months on the bike one month in Ukraine

two months on the bike one month in

with like kitcheny stuff we do have a

it's just cheaper if we both stay in the

same place it's economical

see and now I don't need to carry all my

clothes in my backpack I can actually

store them on my bike I have missed

having that extra storage space no like

honestly I've missed using my tent

staying in like super nice hotels and

hosts for so long just gets

boring we will actually do work on it

to me is how much damage they're

cannot go to any of the businesses

downtown because they are all shut down

like you can still see there street

lights like there is power here they're

power from Individual places to save

energy I'm just not sure if saving the

energy is worth the economic damage that

they're doing to the economy okay so

what we're going to try now uh because

everything is closed is is food delivery

maybe there are restaurants that are in

parts of the city that have electricity

that can deliver to us okay it says that

they accepted the order let's see if

they follow through with that I've had

this happen before where they accept the

order and then you wait 20 minutes and

you get the notification says they canel

it looks like our apartment has

electricity or the area where our

apartment is she's Nifty she can order

things in Ukrainian yeah so the

electricity outages they're not for the

entire city they do it for like

individual blocks at a time and it looks

like our apartment is part of the place
