๐ŸŒŸ Introduction to the Series and Major Signs of the Day of Judgment

The speaker introduces the series on the road to Jannah, discussing major signs of the Day of Judgment based on authentic hadith and the Quran. They emphasize the importance of understanding these signs, having previously stopped at the sign of the fire from Yemen. The current session begins the exploration of the Day of Judgment events, touching on its depiction in movies and contrasting it with Islamic teachings. The session aims to provide peace of mind and guidance for Muslims.

05:00

โš–๏ธ Justice on the Day of Judgment

The Day of Judgment is described as the day of ultimate justice, where every soul will receive its due. Allah promises that even the smallest injustice will be addressed. The speaker contrasts Islamic justice with other faiths' concepts, emphasizing that Allah is the ultimate Just. The Quranic verses and hadiths highlight the importance of justice in Islam, encouraging Muslims to act justly in this life to avoid being among the losers on the Day of Judgment.

10:03

๐Ÿ•Œ Belief in the Day of Judgment

Belief in the Day of Judgment is a fundamental part of Islamic faith, one of the six pillars of iman. The Quran frequently reminds believers to prepare for the afterlife through good deeds. The journey to the afterlife starts at death, with the soul departing the body and beginning its ascent to heaven. The believer's soul is welcomed, while the non-believer's soul is cast back. This part also stresses the importance of immediate preparation for the afterlife.

15:03

๐Ÿ‘ผ The Soul's Journey and the Grave

Upon death, the soul begins its journey. Believers' souls are taken to heaven, while non-believers' souls are rejected. In the grave, the soul returns to the body, facing questioning by the angels Munkar and Nakir. Believers can answer confidently, while non-believers cannot. This questioning indicates the soul's fate, either punishment or bliss in the grave, until the final Day of Judgment.

20:04

๐Ÿ“ข The Blowing of the Trumpet

The speaker explains the events leading up to the Day of Judgment, including the blowing of the trumpet by Angel Israfil. This event signifies the death of all living beings. Different interpretations exist about who might survive initially, such as major angels or martyrs. After the first blow, a second blow will resurrect all beings for judgment. The resurrection process involves all humanity, with details provided by the Quran and hadith.

25:07

โ˜€๏ธ The Resurrected State and the Awaiting Judgment

On the Day of Resurrection, people will be resurrected in their original form, naked and uncircumcised. The Prophet Muhammad describes the scene where people will be so preoccupied with their fate that they won't notice others. The Quran supports this depiction, showing people in a state of extreme fear and confusion. The sun will be brought close, causing intense heat and sweat based on individuals' deeds. The waiting period for judgment is depicted as excruciatingly long and intense.

30:07

๐ŸŒช๏ธ The Severity of the Day of Judgment

The speaker describes the terror and severity of the Day of Judgment, where people will appear intoxicated due to fear. The Quran portrays scenes of mothers abandoning their nursing children and pregnant women miscarrying from the horror. Despite this, the speaker assures that believers will be protected from the noise and sight of Hellfire, emphasizing Allah's mercy for those who followed His guidance. This section balances the depiction of fear with the promise of safety for the righteous.

35:08

๐Ÿ”ฅ Distance from Hellfire for the Righteous

The righteous will be kept far from Hellfire, not even hearing its terrifying sounds. Allah promises them safety and eternal life in Paradise. This promise contrasts the fearsome fate of non-believers and underscores the importance of following the Prophet Muhammad's teachings. The speaker highlights the dual approach of fear and hope in a believer's life, encouraging adherence to good deeds and avoidance of sins.

40:12

๐ŸŒ The Prophet's Intercession

The Prophet Muhammad's intercession on the Day of Judgment is a significant aspect of Islamic belief. As people await judgment, they will seek intercession from various prophets, starting with Adam, who will direct them to others until they reach Muhammad. He will be granted permission to intercede, prostrating before Allah and praising Him. His intercession will allow the judgment to commence and aid many believers. This highlights the Prophet's profound concern for his Ummah and his elevated status with Allah.

45:14

๐Ÿคฒ Continuous Intercession of the Prophet

The Prophet Muhammad will repeatedly intercede for his Ummah on the Day of Judgment, returning to Allah multiple times to seek mercy for the believers. This continuous intercession demonstrates his deep concern and love for his followers. The speaker narrates a hadith showing the Prophet's distress for his Ummah, emphasizing the importance of loving and following him. This section aims to strengthen the connection between Muslims and the Prophet through appreciation of his sacrifices.

50:17

๐Ÿ™ Practical Knowledge for the Afterlife

The series aims to provide practical knowledge to prepare for the afterlife, emphasizing actions that lead to Paradise and avoiding those that lead to Hellfire. The speaker encourages covering others' faults, as Allah will cover their faults on the Day of Judgment. A hadith illustrates Allah's mercy in private judgment sessions. The ultimate goal is to foster a balanced approach of fear and hope, guiding believers to live righteously and draw closer to Allah and the Prophet Muhammad.

Transcripts

play00:24

so today inshallah

play00:25

we continue with our series the road to

play00:28

jannah that we started two weeks ago

play00:31

or two sessions ago uh so basically we

play00:34

started

play00:35

uh by talking about the

play00:38

major signs of the day of judgment

play00:40

according to the authentic hadith from

play00:42

the prophet

play00:44

delved into them in the details as much

play00:47

details as we can

play00:48

have according to the uh narrations from

play00:51

the prophet sallam and the quran

play00:53

as well and what allah revealed in the

play00:55

quran

play00:57

and we stopped uh last time

play01:00

at uh when the with the last sign

play01:03

with the fire that emerged from uh yemen

play01:07

and that would drive the people to the

play01:09

land of resurrection so this week

play01:12

inshallah we

play01:13

talk about the day of judgment so this

play01:15

session inshaallah

play01:17

would be an introduction uh to the

play01:19

events of the day of judgement

play01:21

and we would be talking uh you know kind

play01:24

of touching base on that and inshallah

play01:25

we will continue

play01:26

next week uh potentially we will need at

play01:29

least

play01:29

one more session uh to cover the events

play01:32

unfolding

play01:32

uh during the day of judgment so let's

play01:36

get started insha'allah

play01:38

so the first thing now uh living in the

play01:41

west or even if you are in

play01:42

the middle east you probably like heard

play01:43

or saw many of the movies

play01:46

that are trying to depict events or like

play01:48

similar events that would happen

play01:50

uh you know in the afterlife or you know

play01:53

some of them

play01:53

are called armageddon or deep impact or

play01:56

end of days or like

play01:57

name it there is so many blockbusters

play01:59

that came out

play02:01

uh that we're trying to come up with the

play02:03

scenarios for how the world will end and

play02:05

what would happen and what will not

play02:07

happen

play02:08

you know and you will find them uh most

play02:11

often they're not

play02:12

kind of like coupled with mockery or

play02:14

skepticism

play02:15

but yet these movies find

play02:18

huge success you know they are always

play02:21

ahead they are always a blockbuster they

play02:23

sell out and you know people would go

play02:25

and see them because

play02:26

the human nature is intrigued by the

play02:30

afterlife you know you will find a lot

play02:33

of people

play02:34

you know who say you know or like try to

play02:36

say even

play02:38

once you're dead you're dead that's it

play02:39

there's nothing after that it's a common

play02:41

belief

play02:42

but we all know specifically on the

play02:45

muslims that that's not the case

play02:46

and even the people who are claiming

play02:48

that they are not

play02:50

certain of that kind of fact and that's

play02:52

why

play02:53

uh this is a very big and intriguing

play02:56

thing for them right but alhamdulillah

play02:59

for us as muslims the prophet salallahu

play03:02

gave us detailed knowledge detailed

play03:05

information

play03:06

about what happens leading up to the day

play03:09

of judgment what happens during the day

play03:10

of judgment

play03:12

and what happens after that so

play03:14

alhamdulillah you know there is a lot of

play03:16

peace of mind

play03:17

that we can acquire from that knowledge

play03:20

and there is a lot of basically a kind

play03:24

of

play03:26

luggage or knowledge that we can gain

play03:28

from there that will help us in this

play03:29

life

play03:30

that will help us make the right

play03:32

decisions in this life so that we will

play03:33

not be amongst the losers on the day of

play03:35

judgement

play03:36

so let's get started inshaallah first of

play03:38

all we want to establish that the day of

play03:39

judgment

play03:40

is the day of justice allah says this

play03:44

times and times again in the quran

play03:48

uh basically tells us that every soul

play03:52

that was wrong in the day of judge and

play03:54

in this life

play03:55

will be uh you know given justice on the

play03:58

day of judgment so it's a

play04:00

uh you know it's to the contrary of what

play04:02

happens

play04:03

in this life right subhanallah that uh

play04:06

there is a lot of

play04:07

wrong doing there is a lot of injustice

play04:09

that there's a lot of

play04:10

inequality specifically in this day and

play04:13

age with all the words and

play04:14

with all the you know calamities that

play04:16

are hitting left and right

play04:18

because of negligence of certain

play04:20

individuals or certain governments or

play04:22

certain people in power right

play04:24

allah tells us in sort of mbr

play04:41

[Music]

play04:42

and we place the scales of justice for

play04:45

the day of resurrection

play04:46

so no soul will be treated unjustly at

play04:49

all

play04:50

and if there is even the weight of a

play04:52

mustard seed we will bring it forth

play04:54

and sufficient are we as accountants

play04:57

subhanallah so allah is saying that

play05:00

unequivocal

play05:01

unequivocally that you know that day

play05:05

is the day where justice would be served

play05:07

that

play05:08

if somebody has been wrong in this dunya

play05:10

then that day

play05:12

they will get uh you know their rights

play05:15

and whoever was an oppressor in this

play05:17

dunya that day they will pay the price

play05:20

so in a way it gives a lot of peace a

play05:24

lot of

play05:24

you know subhanallah you see you look at

play05:26

other faith a lot of

play05:28

other denominations you know uh you

play05:31

would find

play05:32

that that concept of justice doesn't

play05:34

exist subhanallah

play05:36

that people basically you know when

play05:38

somebody comes to you and says

play05:39

you know jesus or so and so died for

play05:42

your sins

play05:43

then you don't you're not accountable

play05:44

anymore then where is the justice in

play05:46

that allah one of his names

play05:49

is the just so the fact that

play05:54

he says he says

play06:00

that i made it forbidden on myself

play06:04

to try transgress amongst one of you

play06:08

then do or not trying to transgress

play06:09

against against each other so this is

play06:11

what allah is saying

play06:13

that he even forbid that on himself

play06:17

then how come when we do it against each

play06:19

other so this is a very important

play06:21

concept in islam

play06:23

and you will find a lot of scholars are

play06:25

talk to you and say

play06:26

basically they say islam is the dean of

play06:28

justice because that concept

play06:30

is so prominent like when you go over

play06:32

the ayat and the quran

play06:34

so many of them are talking about either

play06:36

about

play06:37

how allah forbids injustice

play06:40

or how allah upholds justice you know

play06:43

and how allah

play06:45

is urging us to be just

play06:48

even at times of war allah

play06:51

is uh you know and the area says that if

play06:54

they

play06:55

attack you then defend yourself

play06:59

and be just subhanallah meaning or you

play07:02

need to respond with the same amount of

play07:04

force

play07:05

to push that injustice but don't

play07:08

and don't basically transgress but the

play07:10

prophet salallahu when he was

play07:12

establishing the rule of war the rules

play07:15

of force 14 1400 years ago

play07:17

some of it is not even implemented in

play07:19

nowadays you see what happens in syria

play07:21

and what happens in other countries

play07:22

you see like the amount of transgression

play07:25

and the amount of volume that happens

play07:26

there

play07:27

the prophet sallallahu alaihi saw them

play07:28

1400 years ago when he was sending the

play07:30

army of osama an 18 year old

play07:32

who was leading an army leaving medina

play07:35

and under him was abu bakr and umar and

play07:37

the greatest sahabi of the time the

play07:39

closest the prophet

play07:40

but yet he chose this 18 year old to be

play07:42

the leader

play07:44

of the the army he was saying to him

play07:48

do not burn any crops if there is any

play07:51

crops on your way do

play07:52

not burn it

play07:56

do not cut please do not do not cut

play07:58

trees

play07:59

and then do not attack by night and do

play08:02

not come close to the the old people

play08:06

to the worshipers and to the kids and do

play08:09

not attack at night so that you do not

play08:11

you do

play08:12

not scare the woman and the kids

play08:13

subhanallah so those are the rules of

play08:15

engagements that the prophet saws

play08:17

abu bakr at the time were setting up for

play08:19

the muslim army so it's very important

play08:22

uh

play08:22

basically understand this

play08:25

if i can ask you all to mute your mics

play08:27

inshallah uh that would be

play08:29

uh great now um

play08:36

allah also uh you know we know that

play08:39

if a person was wrong and did not see

play08:42

justice or saw

play08:42

uh only partial justice in this dunya

play08:45

then as i said allah will restore him

play08:47

his rights on the day of judgment the

play08:48

prophet

play08:50

said that

play08:53

the rights shall be returned to the

play08:55

prophet proper individuals on the day of

play08:57

resurrection even

play08:58

to the details of the just retribution

play09:01

of the broken horn sheep

play09:03

from two horned sheeps who had hid it

play09:06

this is the prophet

play09:07

sallallahu is giving us a visual example

play09:09

of

play09:10

how the justice will be established on

play09:13

the day of judgment that even

play09:14

for a sheep that was hit by another

play09:17

horned sheep

play09:18

and that broke his horn that that

play09:22

sheep will get justice on the day of

play09:23

judgment like let alone humans

play09:25

so this is what the prophet saw is

play09:26

saying like if if

play09:28

justice would be served at that level

play09:30

then he could imagine

play09:31

you know how we would be accountable and

play09:34

how justice would be served at the human

play09:35

level

play09:36

subhanallah so this is very important to

play09:38

understand

play09:40

you know that subhanallah

play09:44

we want to also establish one very

play09:47

important aspect about the day of

play09:49

judgment

play09:50

that the prophet sallallahu assalam

play09:51

taught us that this is integral part of

play09:53

our deen

play09:54

that part of the six pillars of iman is

play09:57

believing on the day of judgment so this

play09:58

is

play09:59

you know this is a one of the pillars

play10:02

of eman is believing in you know angels

play10:05

and the books and

play10:06

the prophets one of them is believing on

play10:09

the uh the day of judgment

play10:10

believing that this day will happen so

play10:12

it's very important to establish that

play10:14

fact as well

play10:16

you know uh we have many instances of

play10:18

the quran where we are reminded

play10:20

to work for our afterlife that allah

play10:30

says

play10:40

you know warning the believers that to

play10:43

be mindful and to be fearful of allah

play10:45

and to

play10:46

keep the duty to him and let every

play10:49

person

play10:49

look for what they have sent forth for

play10:51

tomorrow meaning what they have prepared

play10:53

for tomorrow when tomorrow here means

play10:55

for the day of judgment for the

play10:57

afterlife

play10:58

what did you prepare for that day and

play11:01

fear allah

play11:02

verily allah is all aware of what you do

play11:05

so this is in allah has given us

play11:08

a warning that we should not be heedless

play11:12

of what's coming of what's going to

play11:14

happen and we should be ready

play11:16

and we should put things forth meaning

play11:18

we should

play11:19

put forth good deeds that will help us

play11:22

will shield us from what will happen on

play11:23

that day

play11:24

so it's very important to establish that

play11:26

fact

play11:27

now what how the journey to the

play11:30

afterlife start

play11:32

so the journey actually starts at the

play11:34

moment of death

play11:35

you know once the person dies that's

play11:37

when the journey starts

play11:39

allah says in the quran and the

play11:42

afterlife

play11:43

is better than the one before it

play11:48

muhammad and talking to us that that

play11:51

you know if you prepared well for the

play11:53

afterlife then surely

play11:55

it's better for you so you need to

play11:57

prepare for it

play11:58

when do you prepare for it when do you

play11:59

start you start now you start yesterday

play12:02

subhanallah we need to really not be

play12:05

heedless

play12:05

of this fact that this moment could come

play12:08

at any time nobody is in control

play12:10

when uh when one of the good ones came

play12:12

to prophet muhammad sallallahu alaihi

play12:13

salam and said to him

play12:16

o muhammad what is the hour then the

play12:19

prophet

play12:21

and one narration says

play12:27

he said you know the one who's asking

play12:29

who's being asked doesn't know

play12:31

more than the one he's asking so this is

play12:33

what this this was his first reply to

play12:35

angel jibril when he asked him

play12:36

when is the hour and then a big one came

play12:38

to him and then he asked him when is the

play12:40

hour and he said what did you prepare

play12:42

for it

play12:43

then the biduan said and i mentioned

play12:44

this during the series of prophet

play12:46

muhammed

play12:47

the benue said he said not much except

play12:49

that i love

play12:50

the prophet and his uh allah and his

play12:53

messenger

play12:54

then allah the prophet says you will be

play12:56

with whom you love

play12:59

you will be on the day of judgment you

play13:01

know in the afterlife

play13:02

you will be with whom you love if you

play13:04

love the prophet

play13:05

if you love allah and you go and you

play13:07

know you prove it with actions

play13:09

that's the point here is that you need

play13:11

to prove it with action we talked about

play13:12

this

play13:13

during our uh you know series about

play13:15

prophet muhammad saw

play13:17

is that following the footsteps of the

play13:19

prophet sallam you know implementing

play13:21

his way of life in your life is a way to

play13:25

you know uh is in a way to follow him in

play13:27

actions basically

play13:28

is a way to confirm the love to him

play13:31

if we truly love him then we need to

play13:33

follow him and if we follow him

play13:35

then we would be amongst those that

play13:37

prophet sallam says you will be with

play13:39

whom you love you would be with prophet

play13:40

muhammad

play13:41

on the opposite side if you love you

play13:43

know uh

play13:44

uh singer so and so if you look you are

play13:48

such you know social media influencer

play13:50

and so on then you need to be worried

play13:52

you really want to you need to be

play13:54

worried if those are like the the top

play13:56

people that you love and follow

play13:57

you know love here is following is like

play14:00

basically mimicking every action in

play14:01

their life you try to implement it

play14:03

in your life blindly then if you are

play14:05

doing that then you really need to be

play14:06

worried you really need to

play14:07

be reconsidering where you are in life

play14:10

uh you know

play14:11

with that regards because it's very

play14:12

important to establish this fact

play14:15

now um

play14:26

and the page of death will come in truth

play14:29

this is what you have been avoiding and

play14:31

another translation

play14:32

and the intoxication of death will bring

play14:34

the truth

play14:35

meaning what you know when the

play14:37

intoxication of death when you go into

play14:39

that state where you start dying when

play14:40

the person starts dying

play14:42

that's they start seeing the truth you

play14:44

know uh

play14:45

uh allah and another he said

play14:51

that we removed you know the shade from

play14:53

your vision

play14:54

that your vision now is uh you know as

play14:57

strong as

play14:58

a steel it's so sharp it's so clear you

play15:01

are able to see

play15:03

on those last moments of death the

play15:05

believer would be able to see the angels

play15:07

you know of mercy coming to him and the

play15:09

one the non-believer would be able to

play15:11

to see the angels of torment coming to

play15:13

him subhanallah that's why

play15:15

you know if somebody uh attended the a

play15:18

person who's dying they see them

play15:19

subhanallah

play15:20

looking at a different direction as if

play15:22

they are not with the people around them

play15:24

anymore

play15:24

so subhanallah this is saying that is

play15:27

that you are

play15:28

the you know the the death when it comes

play15:30

it will bring the truth with it

play15:32

and that is what you were trying to

play15:34

avoid this is true even for the believer

play15:36

because

play15:37

subhanallah none of us likes the death

play15:39

none of us

play15:40

you know uh kind of like enjoys the idea

play15:43

of death

play15:44

so it's a human nature that we don't

play15:45

like it so allah is saying

play15:47

that is what you were trying to avoid

play15:49

subhanallah

play15:51

so now what happens is that the soul

play15:55

deport departs the body

play15:57

the person will stare at it and his eyes

play15:59

will follow it the prophet saw allah

play16:01

says

play16:02

one will follow the path of the soul

play16:05

visually

play16:06

as it leaves his body this is muslim

play16:10

then the soul will begin the journey uh

play16:13

you know

play16:14

where does it go it will go

play16:18

uh you know basically up to the heavens

play16:20

so it starts a journey up to the heaven

play16:22

this is a very like this fractional

play16:24

moment of death

play16:25

that you know the person is dying you

play16:27

know the soul leaves the body

play16:29

and then the soul takes the journey to

play16:31

the heaven

play16:32

what happens you know to the believers

play16:34

what what happens to the sword of the

play16:36

believer

play16:37

you know what is is it different from

play16:40

the sort of the non-believer what you

play16:42

know what's what's the path

play16:44

you know do they take the same path you

play16:46

know for the believer

play16:48

you know basically the sword of the

play16:49

believer will go up to the heavens and

play16:52

uh it would be sought you know to get

play16:54

the permission

play16:55

to enter the uh gates of the heavens

play16:58

and the gates will be opened and it will

play17:00

reach the seven half of

play17:02

heaven where allah says as depicted

play17:07

of the believer

play17:12

that allah says to the soul from the

play17:15

earth

play17:16

recreated you and into it we will return

play17:18

you and

play17:19

from it we will extract you yet another

play17:22

time

play17:23

meaning right now basically you left the

play17:25

body

play17:26

yeah base and then allah is saying now

play17:29

it's the time to go back

play17:31

to the earth from where you have been

play17:33

created the first time

play17:34

and then at one point on the day of

play17:36

judgment you will be

play17:38

extracted uh you know you'll be

play17:40

resurrected subhanallah

play17:41

so this is the journey of the soul of

play17:43

the believer now the

play17:45

for the non-believer the same thing

play17:48

happened it will try to ascend to the

play17:49

heaven

play17:50

but the gates of the lowest heaven would

play17:52

not be open to it the angels would

play17:54

refuse

play17:55

and it would be cast back to earth allah

play17:57

tells us about this

play18:22

the gates of heaven will not be opened

play18:24

for them

play18:25

nor will they enter paradise until a

play18:27

camel enters into the eyes of the needle

play18:30

and thus do we recompense the criminals

play18:33

so this is what allah is telling us

play18:37

about the two different journeys of the

play18:39

souls

play18:40

of the believer and the non-believer as

play18:42

they leave the body

play18:43

uh of the human being at the moment of

play18:45

death

play18:47

so now the person has died you know the

play18:50

soldier the journey then it's back to

play18:53

the earth

play18:53

that's where the person is is buried we

play18:56

know from other

play18:57

hadith that when the soul of the person

play19:00

returns

play19:01

to them they would be on the grave in

play19:03

the grave and then when they

play19:04

they wake up basically the the soul is

play19:07

brought back to the body

play19:09

that they that's when they find in front

play19:11

of them two angels they are they are

play19:12

called munkar and nikir

play19:14

and they would be asking them three

play19:16

questions

play19:18

they asked them

play19:24

the two angels would ask the person in

play19:27

the grave that's the first thing

play19:29

that they would be asked about the

play19:31

prophet sallam once the

play19:32

sahaba buried one of their you know

play19:35

sahabi one of the companions

play19:37

and then they started leaving of the

play19:39

prophet

play19:40

in one instance he said uh he the person

play19:43

who was buried

play19:44

he would hear the footsteps of the

play19:46

people leaving

play19:48

and then he said sallallahu alaihi

play19:50

sallam

play19:53

to your brother he is being asked right

play19:55

now the prophet saws

play19:57

said make dua to your brother he's being

play20:00

asked right now

play20:01

the first thing that the person who has

play20:04

been put

play20:04

on the grave would be asked about is

play20:07

who is your lord mahadeen what is your

play20:11

religion

play20:15

what do you say about the man

play20:18

that was sent to you so the believer

play20:21

would be saying arabi allah

play20:23

you know my lord is allah my religion is

play20:26

islam

play20:28

yet islam and mata foreign

play20:33

why the non-believer he would be saying

play20:36

huh yeah that's his answer basically

play20:39

like he's completely lost he has no

play20:41

answer

play20:42

to that so those are basically the early

play20:44

signs for the person

play20:46

whether they are in the right path or

play20:48

like they are basically going to

play20:50

uh you know the hellfire so those are

play20:52

the early signs

play20:54

and in the grave that the person would

play20:57

know

play20:57

their fate subhan allah now

play21:01

the person is in the grave and that's

play21:03

when uh a long journey starts which is

play21:05

basically

play21:06

it's either uh the punishment of the

play21:09

grave or the bliss of the grave

play21:11

till the final hour till the day of

play21:13

judgment

play21:14

as we talked before you know there were

play21:17

there are events that are leading up so

play21:19

basically

play21:19

that's kind of like for a person who uh

play21:22

dies

play21:23

uh you know before the major signs of

play21:26

the day of judgment

play21:27

now we talked last time that there are

play21:29

certain signs that are preceding

play21:31

the day of judgment we talked about the

play21:33

ten measure signs according to

play21:34

uh hadith of the prophet uh you know uh

play21:39

that's recorded muslim and we said that

play21:41

towards the end of time a gentle wind

play21:43

will blow allah will send a gentle one

play21:46

that uh basically will take the soul of

play21:49

every

play21:49

believing men and women and that a

play21:52

massive fire from the area of yemen

play21:54

that would be the last major sign that

play21:57

will gather people to the land of

play21:58

gathering or the land of resurrection

play22:02

you know and that the day of judgment

play22:03

will be established on the worst of

play22:05

humanity we said that the gentle wind

play22:07

would take the soul of the believers

play22:08

so those who are left towards the end of

play22:10

time would be the worst of humanity and

play22:12

we gave the example that

play22:13

prophet sallam said you know gave that

play22:17

that the person would be walking by two

play22:19

people committing zina in the middle of

play22:20

the street

play22:21

and then he would be telling them like

play22:23

he said the best of them would tell

play22:24

those people

play22:25

you should just go to the corner

play22:26

basically he said that's the time when

play22:29

uh the day of judgment would be

play22:30

established so

play22:32

what what happens you know leading up to

play22:34

that day of judgment

play22:35

you know at that time when the fire when

play22:37

the people are gathered

play22:39

what happens is the fir first blow so

play22:41

basically the trumpet

play22:42

will be blown so this is a trumpet or

play22:44

horn that's held by a giant angel called

play22:47

called angel

play22:48

israel what the angel israel does he

play22:51

blows the trumpet

play22:52

and then everyone who is alive at the

play22:55

time would die

play22:57

allah tells us

play23:11

and whoever is in the heavens and

play23:13

whoever is on the earth

play23:14

will fall dead except whom allah lives

play23:17

now this verse is clear that

play23:21

everyone who is alive at that time will

play23:24

die

play23:25

except whom allah wills do we know

play23:28

who you know isn't in that exception

play23:30

there is a difference of opinion between

play23:31

the allah

play23:32

and to be honest with you you know

play23:34

that's not something

play23:36

really we uh like that's that's not a

play23:38

knowledge that will benefit us

play23:40

you know uh but just for the sake of

play23:42

information

play23:43

some scholars are saying that uh the

play23:45

major angels the heads of angels like

play23:47

angel is raphael and angel

play23:50

would stay alive the american mount and

play23:53

the angel of death would be

play23:54

alive at that time those they will be uh

play23:56

dead

play23:57

after that allah will command them on

play24:00

them one by one

play24:01

uh in other narrations that says and or

play24:04

other explanations say

play24:05

that the the martyrs

play24:12

so basically that the martyrs that

play24:16

people think they are dead that they

play24:17

never dead they are with their lord

play24:19

and they are alive so uh it could be

play24:22

that as well so there is different and

play24:24

kind of explanations we don't have a

play24:27

definitive text what's meant

play24:29

by this area but as i said that's

play24:32

uh you know that's a secondary knowledge

play24:35

we know

play24:36

that the first blow will happen

play24:39

and that people who are alive at the

play24:42

time

play24:42

will be dead and there will be no life

play24:45

on earth

play24:46

uh at all and even in the heavens as

play24:49

depicted in this area

play24:51

then the second blow will happen allah

play24:54

will command angel

play24:56

and then he will blow again and all the

play24:59

chronic creation

play25:00

from the beginning of time till the end

play25:02

of time would be resurrected allah says

play25:06

and this is the same verse i mentioned

play25:08

like in

play25:09

verse 68 and the horn will be blown and

play25:12

whoever is in the heaven and whoever is

play25:14

on the earth

play25:15

will fall there except whom allah wills

play25:18

then

play25:18

it will blow again and at once they will

play25:21

be standing

play25:22

looking and then in another area in

play25:25

surat yasin

play25:39

or the horn would be blown and at once

play25:42

from the graves to their lord they will

play25:44

hasten

play25:45

that they will be coming quickly to

play25:46

their lord to meet the lord

play25:48

so this is the resurrection that

play25:50

everyone from the beginning of time

play25:52

to the end of time will be brought out

play25:55

from the graves

play25:56

and they will be hasting hastening to

play25:58

their lord

play26:00

and that's when the day of judgment is

play26:02

established

play26:04

now allah the prophet salallahu is

play26:07

telling us

play26:09

about the events or like the the

play26:11

situation or the state of the people

play26:13

when they come out from their ash death

play26:16

from the graves

play26:17

on the day of judgment the prophet

play26:19

sallallahu alaihi sallam says describing

play26:21

them

play26:21

in details he's according to hadith

play26:24

narrated by ibn abbas

play26:26

the prophet says you will be uh brought

play26:28

out or you will be summoned or you'll be

play26:30

resurrected on the day of judgment

play26:33

on the day of resurrection barefooted

play26:35

naked and

play26:36

uncircumcised he then read the word of

play26:39

allah

play26:40

and as we begin the first creation we

play26:42

will repeat it

play26:43

that is a promise binding upon us indeed

play26:47

we will do it so allah the prophet

play26:51

is telling us that people will be the

play26:53

point of this detailed description for

play26:54

the process

play26:56

is that there will be nothing added

play26:59

people will be brought out as they were

play27:02

created without

play27:03

any change without any alteration that

play27:05

uh you know happens during the life

play27:07

whether that's clothing whether that's

play27:08

superstition whatever you

play27:10

want to name it the prophet saws is

play27:13

being clear that people would be brought

play27:14

out

play27:15

the way they have been created that

play27:18

that's how they will come out

play27:21

and then the prophet salallahu added the

play27:23

first human being to be dressed on the

play27:25

day of resurrection

play27:26

would be prophet ibrahim may allah may

play27:29

allah's mercy be upon him

play27:30

this hadith is recorded in bukhari now

play27:33

the interesting thing

play27:34

is when the prophet saw mentioned this

play27:36

hadith our mother aisha was intrigued

play27:38

and she she asked him right away she

play27:41

said ya rasulullah

play27:42

uh you know men and women both won't

play27:45

they

play27:46

all look at each other subhanallah you

play27:48

know it's a natural question that jumped

play27:49

to her and then she asked the prophet

play27:51

saws

play27:51

right away and then the prophet

play27:53

salallahu the situation they are in

play27:55

is so grim that they would have no time

play27:58

for this

play28:00

so the the this is an authentic hadith

play28:02

that the prophet replying to

play28:03

our mother aisha that they will be in

play28:06

such a dire situation

play28:08

that people you know coming out of the

play28:10

grave imagine all those people that said

play28:12

you said

play28:13

as we mentioned the beginning once

play28:14

you're dead you're dead and then all of

play28:16

a sudden they are coming out of the

play28:18

grave

play28:18

and then they see themselves and they

play28:20

realize that that's it everything that i

play28:22

was thinking before

play28:23

you know every you know kind of

play28:26

basically

play28:27

argument i came up with again against

play28:28

this idea is shattered

play28:30

the truth is before my eyes and then i'm

play28:32

being brought out

play28:34

then he said the situation is so grim

play28:36

the prophet saws that they don't have

play28:38

time to think about

play28:39

anything else to notice anybody else

play28:43

and this is clearly depicted in the

play28:45

quran you know

play28:49

so the interesting part here that we

play28:51

want to establish because as we go

play28:53

through this journey one of the

play28:54

questions

play28:55

we asked early on when when i introduced

play28:57

the session

play28:58

section is when would you think about

play29:01

your uh

play29:02

others basically your family your

play29:04

parents your brothers your sisters your

play29:06

loved ones

play29:07

this is the first spot you know at the

play29:09

time of resurrection

play29:11

this is the first instance the man is

play29:12

saying there are three instances

play29:14

where the person would not think about

play29:17

anybody else except themselves they

play29:18

cannot even

play29:20

wonder about any loved ones they forget

play29:22

about anything like the

play29:24

horror and the the situation puts them

play29:26

in a spot where they don't remember

play29:28

anyone else this is one of them this is

play29:31

the first instance where

play29:32

the person will be so preoccupied with

play29:35

their affairs

play29:36

they cannot even notice that there are

play29:38

people naked around them they cannot

play29:40

even notice that there are people around

play29:42

them

play29:42

so let alone think about their closed

play29:44

one or loved ones so this is the first

play29:46

interest

play29:47

inshallah when we get to the other

play29:48

instances i'll highlight that as well

play29:52

but that that's something to keep in

play29:53

mind allah and surat al hajj in verse

play29:56

one of two

play29:57

depicts and explains the situation

play30:06

says

play30:08

mankind fear your lord indeed the

play30:10

conversion of the earth the quake of the

play30:12

final hour

play30:14

is a mighty matter of

play30:20

fact

play30:31

on that day on the day of judgment on

play30:34

that day when this happens

play30:36

uh on the day you see it every nurse and

play30:39

mother

play30:40

will be distracting from the child she

play30:42

was nursing

play30:43

immediately like she cannot pay

play30:44

attention to that child that she was not

play30:46

nursing and every pregnant woman will

play30:49

abort her pregnancy

play30:51

and you will see people appearing

play30:54

intoxicated

play30:55

while they are not intoxicated but the

play30:58

punishment of your lord of allah is

play31:01

severe

play31:02

so allah is saying you know confirming

play31:05

what the prophet

play31:06

is saying that people when they come out

play31:08

of the grave they will be as if when you

play31:10

look at them they are in toxic they look

play31:12

like

play31:12

they are intoxicating they are not aware

play31:15

of what's going on

play31:16

but the allah is saying no they are not

play31:19

intoxicated they look like they are

play31:21

intoxicated

play31:22

because the whole you know the the might

play31:25

of the situation the might of the

play31:27

matter that is unfolding is making them

play31:30

look as if they are intoxicated

play31:32

that's why you know they cannot notice

play31:35

what the state of the people around them

play31:37

subhanallah now as the people you know

play31:41

at this point you know people are

play31:42

resurrected people are the situation

play31:44

this isn't unfolding the day of judgment

play31:46

didn't start yet

play31:47

you know uh the judgment itself what i'm

play31:49

saying it didn't start here

play31:51

so the human kind at that time is

play31:53

awaiting the decree of allah

play31:55

they would be standing under the sun

play31:58

and the sun would be brought so close

play32:01

that in

play32:03

one of the companions said i heard the

play32:04

message of allah saying

play32:06

the sun will be a distance of a mile

play32:08

from the creation

play32:10

on the day of resurrection people will

play32:13

sink in their uh perspiration

play32:15

according to their deeds so some would

play32:18

sing and their perspiration till their

play32:20

ankles

play32:21

while other would sink till their thighs

play32:23

and waist

play32:24

yet others would sink till their mouth

play32:27

this is in sahih muslim so the sun will

play32:29

come so close and based on the deeds of

play32:32

the people

play32:33

people will start sinking individually

play32:35

in their own sweat

play32:36

subhanallah then uh of the prophet

play32:39

sallallahu alaihi

play32:40

is telling us that that day you know

play32:44

the length of that day is the you know

play32:47

according to what we know is

play32:49

50 000 year long subhanallah when the

play32:52

hadith the prophet sallallahu alaihi

play32:54

is saying that day will be 50 000 year

play32:56

long

play32:57

after which a person would be admitted

play32:59

into paradise

play33:00

or cast into a you know according uh

play33:03

reported by abu dhabi

play33:04

so you can imagine uh the heat the

play33:07

length of the day

play33:08

you know subhanallah you know today is a

play33:10

hot day here like yeah

play33:12

uh you know uh subhanallah some other

play33:15

countries like they have 40s and 50s but

play33:17

you know

play33:18

by seasonal temperature of what people

play33:21

are used to this is considered

play33:22

to be a hot day and subhanallah you

play33:25

could imagine

play33:25

people running for acs and for uh

play33:28

showers and so on and so forth

play33:30

like he could imagine the heat on that

play33:32

day and

play33:33

the length of that day and people

play33:35

standing on their feet and waiting for

play33:36

the judgment to start

play33:38

so you could imagine how you know the

play33:40

hearts are pounding you're not knowing

play33:41

what would become

play33:43

and subhanallah you know as i said that

play33:45

the last part

play33:46

was describing the amount of sheer

play33:48

horror that was going on

play33:49

and how the mothers even they will

play33:52

forget about their babies and so on

play33:54

on that day why they are waiting for the

play33:56

judgment to start

play33:57

subhanallah so it's very important to

play33:59

acknowledge

play34:00

the situation that's leading up to that

play34:02

now i you know it's not a matter of

play34:04

scaring people it's a matter of just

play34:07

uh you know relaying the information

play34:08

that the prophet sallam told us about

play34:10

as we delve into this we will find a lot

play34:13

of

play34:13

hadith a lot of ayat from the quran that

play34:16

will tell us

play34:17

that the situation for the believer is

play34:19

far better than

play34:21

the situation of the non-believers on

play34:23

that day that they will be receiving

play34:25

glad tiding after glad tiding

play34:26

and you know there is even one eye a so

play34:29

beautiful area

play34:32

that talks about uh when uh the hellfire

play34:36

is brought out

play34:37

and it's being shown to the people of

play34:39

the out of al-mashar at the

play34:40

land of resurrection that um um

play34:44

allah says uh

play34:55

you know early on meaning in their life

play34:58

those who

play34:58

when the week brought to them the

play35:00

message of the prophet muhammad

play35:02

whether they are the companions or the

play35:04

people of this time that came to the

play35:05

muslim

play35:06

that accepted the message that they left

play35:08

the life of you know

play35:09

sins behind them and they did their best

play35:11

to get closer

play35:14

in

play35:23

that those who received the glad tiding

play35:26

those who got the message and applied it

play35:27

and followed it

play35:29

those will be brought so far from it

play35:31

they will be brought

play35:32

so far from hellfire on the day of the

play35:34

day

play35:42

and then the ayah says yes

play35:56

with allah they will not

play35:59

hear like the noises of the hellfire

play36:02

because the hell fire

play36:03

once it sees the disbeliever and we will

play36:05

get to that description

play36:06

it will start making noises and it's

play36:08

like angry noises towards those people

play36:11

subhanallah it's very well depicted like

play36:14

in details

play36:15

in the quran and the hadith but allah is

play36:18

saying

play36:19

even that noise they will not be hearing

play36:22

it

play36:22

they will be brought away from it and

play36:24

then they will not even hear the noise

play36:26

that it's making

play36:27

so that they not don't get scared

play36:28

because they don't deserve to be scared

play36:30

because they followed the right path

play36:32

because they followed the prophet saws

play36:34

because they love the prophet sallallahu

play36:35

alaihi there is no way that they will be

play36:37

let to be scared by the fire and then

play36:41

allah says

play36:46

that they will go to jannah and they

play36:48

will be

play36:49

forever living in jannah and then allah

play36:52

says

play36:59

you know is is you know basically

play37:03

is greeting them and saying this is this

play37:05

day of judgment

play37:06

is the day that you have been promised

play37:08

like the other people the

play37:09

those who didn't believe in him they

play37:11

were threatened by the by that day but

play37:13

you are being promised by that day

play37:15

because

play37:16

you will be rewarded in this day you

play37:17

will get your reward on those of this

play37:19

day

play37:19

so the point here is like you know not

play37:22

to make it

play37:23

uh that people uh you know uh

play37:26

to kind of instill here uh fear uh

play37:29

and and and those who get this message

play37:31

or this knowledge

play37:32

the prophet as i said many times he

play37:36

mentioned or like he said like the

play37:37

states of the believer

play37:39

is between fear and hope that

play37:42

you are fearing allah's wrath allah

play37:46

you know anger so that it's a catalyst

play37:49

to do good deeds and to stay away from

play37:50

bad decisions

play37:52

but also hoping in allah's mercy because

play37:55

many many instances allah you know is

play37:57

telling us

play37:58

he is the most merciful allah is the

play38:00

most merciful allah and the quran says

play38:02

you know that uh he he forgives all

play38:06

sins subhanallah that if my uh

play38:09

slave comes to me with mountains of sins

play38:12

and then he comes to me he doesn't uh

play38:15

commit shirk with me and he comes to me

play38:17

repenting then i will bring

play38:18

come to him with mountains of mountains

play38:21

of uh you know uh

play38:23

mercy so subhanallah that's the state is

play38:25

to be

play38:26

in between the houth and the raja the

play38:29

the you know the hope and the mercy of

play38:31

allah and the fear from his wrath

play38:33

because that's going to allow us to be

play38:35

in the balance

play38:37

uh kind of approach to it now

play38:43

you know if you could please uh remove

play38:45

your phone

play38:46

that would be great inshallah because i

play38:49

can hear myself i can hear the echo

play38:51

through one of your mics

play38:56

so uh or let me try to uh i think a mute

play39:01

you myself

play39:07

all right i think uh i think i got it

play39:10

all right

play39:10

so i think basically what happened here

play39:14

as i mentioned

play39:15

so uh uh well what when we get to this

play39:18

point

play39:19

till this point the judgment did not

play39:21

start

play39:22

that people will be trying to find out

play39:24

what's happening

play39:25

what is next and how the judgment will

play39:27

start

play39:28

and that's when the great intercession

play39:30

of the prophet salallahu happens

play39:32

you know when we did the series about

play39:34

prophet muhammad

play39:36

and i mentioned to you that one of the

play39:38

greatest reasons we should love our

play39:40

beloved prophet is the intercession

play39:43

that and we also discussed that

play39:47

you know this series as well should

play39:49

allow us to appreciate even more prophet

play39:51

muhammad sallallahu alaihi

play39:53

you know we went over his life we went

play39:55

over his you know

play39:56

many of these character traits but uh

play39:59

this instance of the intercession that

play40:02

happens on the day of judgment

play40:04

it uh not only tells you the importance

play40:07

and the status of prophet muhammad

play40:12

but it tells you how much he cared about

play40:14

his ummah how much he cared about you

play40:16

and me

play40:17

and that's why it's it should be a

play40:19

priority in our life

play40:20

to connect with our beloved prophets of

play40:22

allah so this

play40:24

is the hadith of the intercession that i

play40:26

would be concluding with

play40:28

that uh you know it's narrated that as

play40:30

the main

play40:31

mankind uh is awaiting what's going to

play40:34

happen you know people

play40:35

are brought up the graves people are

play40:37

wondering what's going on

play40:39

people are scared people are naked

play40:41

people are sweating

play40:42

then they start talking to each other

play40:45

and they start saying let us

play40:46

ask somebody to intercede for us with

play40:49

our lord

play40:50

so the people would go to adam they

play40:53

start like looking

play40:54

who should we go to somebody say you

play40:56

know uh uh

play40:57

says let's go to adam so they go to adam

play40:59

alaihissalam

play41:00

and then they say you are the father of

play41:02

all the people

play41:03

and allah created you with his own hands

play41:06

and ordered the angels

play41:08

to prostrate to you and taught you the

play41:10

names of all things

play41:12

so please intercede for us with your

play41:14

lord

play41:15

so he may leave us from this place of

play41:17

ours

play41:18

so here people are so tired just from

play41:20

waiting for the judgment to start

play41:22

you know subhanallah you could imagine

play41:24

once the judgment starts how is it

play41:26

but this is people are tired from the

play41:28

way they wanted to just

play41:29

get uh get started with so

play41:33

adam replies to them and he says i am

play41:36

not fit for this

play41:37

meaning and the intercession and then he

play41:40

would remember his sin

play41:41

and feel ashamed for it and he would say

play41:44

go to nua for he was the first messenger

play41:48

allah sent to the inhabitant of the

play41:50

earth

play41:51

so he would say uh you know so they will

play41:54

go to

play41:56

salem but uh

play41:59

he would say nafsi nepsi myself myself

play42:03

i am not fit for this undertaking and he

play42:06

will remember

play42:07

remember his appeal to his lord that he

play42:10

wanted to intercede for his son

play42:12

and then he will be ashamed from that

play42:14

sin and he will say

play42:16

you know i am not for this and a fit for

play42:18

them this undertaking

play42:20

go to khalil go to ibrahim

play42:23

you know go to the close one to allah

play42:26

the one who

play42:27

allah shows as his loved one so they

play42:30

will go to ibrahim alaihissalam

play42:32

and then he will say you know nafsi nfc

play42:35

myself myself

play42:37

i am not fit for this you know uh and

play42:40

then he will remember that he

play42:42

asked for forgiveness for his daughter

play42:43

and feel for his dad and he considers

play42:45

that as a sin

play42:46

and that allah recommended him for that

play42:48

he said don't do that

play42:50

so he said go to music moses the slave

play42:52

to whom

play42:53

allah spoke directly and gave him the

play42:56

torah

play42:56

so they go and then they will go to

play42:59

moses

play43:00

and then he will say nafsi nfc myself

play43:03

myself

play43:04

i am not fit for this undertaking and he

play43:07

will mention his sin that he killed the

play43:09

person

play43:10

who was not a killer and he will feel so

play43:13

ashamed of that

play43:14

before allah and he will say go to

play43:19

go to allah as messenger as slave and

play43:22

allah's world and spirit you know and

play43:25

then uh

play43:25

ask him for the intercession then jesus

play43:28

peace be upon him he will say

play43:30

nafsi nafsi myself myself i am not fit

play43:33

for this under

play43:34

undertaking and he will not mention or

play43:37

remember any sin

play43:38

but he will say go to muhammad the slave

play43:41

of

play43:41

allah whose past and future sin

play43:44

sins were forgiven by allah

play43:48

then they will go to prophet muhammad

play43:52

and then the prophet will say

play43:56

and he was allah the prophet here

play43:58

describing he said they will come to me

play44:00

and i will proceed till i will ask my

play44:03

lord's permission

play44:04

and i will be given for permission so

play44:07

the prophet salallahu will say

play44:10

that i am you know the one for this i am

play44:12

the one for this

play44:14

and then he will proceed and go to allah

play44:17

he will ask for permission and then he

play44:19

will be given permission

play44:21

to be in the presence of allah and then

play44:24

he says the prophet saw he says when i

play44:27

see

play44:27

my lord i will fall down in prostration

play44:31

under the arash the prophet salallahu is

play44:34

describing

play44:35

that when he sees allah when he sees his

play44:38

lord salallahu she will go under the

play44:41

heart of allah

play44:42

and he said he says i will fall down in

play44:45

frustration

play44:46

and he uh he said i will remain

play44:50

in prostration for as long as i wish

play44:53

and then he says the process

play45:01

that he will be given a certain uh you

play45:04

know uh

play45:04

basically dua and certain uh

play45:08

supplications and certain praises you

play45:10

know

play45:11

words for praise for allah that will

play45:14

never be

play45:15

have been said before him at that moment

play45:18

so he will be praising allah and he will

play45:20

be you know uh

play45:22

you know supplicating him in that state

play45:24

of prosperity

play45:25

until he will be addressed the prophet

play45:27

saw he said

play45:28

then i will be addressed

play45:32

and he said i will be told

play45:41

that the prophet

play45:45

o saws raise your head

play45:49

ask and you shall be given

play45:52

and say and your saying will be listened

play45:55

to

play45:56

intercede and your intercession will be

play45:59

accepted

play46:02

so that's that's the status of prophet

play46:04

muhammad sallallahu alaihi

play46:08

so the prophet saws says i will raise my

play46:12

head

play46:12

and praise allah was saying in the

play46:16

invocations he will teach me and then i

play46:18

will

play46:19

intercede for the uh you know uh

play46:23

i will intercede for the day of judgment

play46:24

to start he will fix a limit for me

play46:27

to intercede for the prophet saying that

play46:29

allah will fix the limit for him

play46:32

to intercede for whom i will admit into

play46:35

paradise

play46:37

subhanallah so allah at that moment

play46:40

he accepts the intercession for prophet

play46:43

muhammed for the start of the day of

play46:45

judgment

play46:46

and then he will give him another

play46:49

intercession to take

play46:50

a certain number of people to to

play46:53

paradise right away then

play46:55

he the prophet sallam says you know i

play46:57

will take those and then the prophet saw

play46:59

says i'll come back again to allah

play47:02

and when i see my my lord the same thing

play47:05

will happen to me

play47:07

meaning he will prostrate and he will

play47:10

stay in that prostration

play47:11

until he will be addressed and he will

play47:13

be told

play47:18

oh muhammad raise your head and ask and

play47:21

you will be

play47:23

given and intercede and your

play47:25

intercession will be accepted

play47:28

he said and the prophet sallam here he

play47:30

said and then i will intercede

play47:32

and allah will fix a limit for me to

play47:35

intercede

play47:36

whom i will let into the heavens

play47:39

heavenly abode

play47:40

then i will come back for the third time

play47:43

and then i will come back for the fourth

play47:45

time

play47:45

and will say none remains in hell

play47:49

but those whom the quran has imprisoned

play47:52

in hell

play47:52

and who have been distant on an eternal

play47:56

stay in hell so subhanallah the prophet

play47:59

does not intercede once or twice or

play48:02

three times

play48:03

he will keep coming back from his ummah

play48:06

you know and this reminds you of the

play48:09

instance when the prophet salallahu and

play48:11

this is

play48:12

our mother aisha is narrating this

play48:14

hadith that the prophet saw

play48:16

was praying at night and then

play48:19

he was crying and he was crying so loud

play48:22

that angel jibril came to prophet

play48:25

muhammad

play48:26

allah says to injure doing go to

play48:29

muhammad

play48:30

and ask him why are you crying and allah

play48:33

knows best

play48:33

why he is crying so angel jibril comes

play48:36

to the prophet salallahu

play48:38

he says why are you crying he says

play48:43

my people my people that's that's how

play48:46

much he was worried sallallahu that's

play48:48

why when he is giving the permission to

play48:50

intercede

play48:51

he doesn't shy away from that you know

play48:54

opportunity and he keeps coming back

play48:56

he keeps digging into the mercy of allah

play48:59

and we will come back to this hadith in

play49:01

details and we will come back to these

play49:03

this instance in details but i just

play49:05

wanted to give you a glimpse

play49:07

that the day of judgment the judgment

play49:10

itself will not start

play49:12

until the prophet sallallahu alaihi

play49:13

intercede and that the prophet salallahu

play49:16

from the moment

play49:17

that he intercedes for the day of

play49:19

judgment to start

play49:20

he will keep coming back to allah to

play49:22

intercede

play49:23

even as the judgment is going on even as

play49:26

people are being admitted to hell fire

play49:28

and people

play49:29

are admitted to paradise he is running

play49:31

back and forth

play49:32

trying to guide as many people to

play49:34

paradise and trying to pull as many

play49:35

people

play49:36

from the hellfire

play49:39

you know uh ten sessions ago we started

play49:42

talking about our prophet

play49:45

salallahu you know knowing him and

play49:48

connecting with him

play49:49

leading uh you know up to this and you

play49:52

know

play49:52

my whole point was every time we talk

play49:55

about these instances

play49:57

whether his character traits or whether

play49:59

you know how he conducted himself during

play50:01

making dhawa to people

play50:02

how he cared about non-muslims you know

play50:05

how he was so compassionate

play50:07

how he was so loving and how he like it

play50:09

rips his heart

play50:10

that he sees somebody disobeying or like

play50:13

turning the back

play50:14

right how he cared about the people like

play50:17

you know

play50:18

till this hadith i think this hadith

play50:20

shows you

play50:21

the extent that how he cares

play50:24

all the prophets people went to all the

play50:26

prophets all of them they said nfc nfc

play50:29

you know i cannot help you here except

play50:30

the prophet salallahu

play50:32

he said i am the one i am the one and he

play50:36

run to allah

play50:37

and he prostrated there and then until

play50:40

he was given permission

play50:41

and until then he kept coming back and

play50:45

trying to intercede

play50:46

so subhanallah i hope this gives us an

play50:48

appreciation

play50:50

of the status of the prophet salallahu

play50:52

and the sight of allah

play50:53

and hopefully it will give give us

play50:56

you know an incentive to raise his

play50:59

status in our lives

play51:00

to raise his status on our hearts so

play51:02

that we can connect to him

play51:04

and so that we can try to love him more

play51:06

than ourselves so that we can increase

play51:09

in our iman subhanallah

play51:11

you know um i want to leave you with

play51:14

this is that the purpose of this

play51:17

series again and again i want to

play51:19

emphasize this is not to instill

play51:21

fear or to make people crippled with

play51:24

fear

play51:24

or make us you know basically sitting

play51:26

there waiting or lose hope

play51:28

the purpose again is to gain practical

play51:30

knowledge and act upon it

play51:32

because once you know what are the

play51:34

things that lead to hell fire and what

play51:36

are the things

play51:37

that leads to paradise then that's

play51:39

practical knowledge that we could use on

play51:41

our day-to-day life

play51:42

so that we can get closer to the prophet

play51:45

saw we can get

play51:46

closer to allah and we can get closer to

play51:49

jannah subhanallah

play51:50

i'll leave you with this that allah will

play51:53

cover up

play51:53

on the day of resurrection the defects

play51:56

and the fault

play51:57

of those who cover up the falls of the

play51:59

others on the

play52:00

in this world subhanallah this is an

play52:02

authentic hadith from prophet muhammad

play52:04

this these are tips for us that should

play52:07

be

play52:08

guiding us on how we conduct with

play52:09

ourselves in this life

play52:11

that if we see a fault or a defect from

play52:13

our brother or sister

play52:15

it's like we should raise to cover it we

play52:18

should raise

play52:19

to basically overlook it we should find

play52:22

99 reasons why we should overlook it

play52:26

why we should you know dismiss it

play52:28

because if we do that

play52:29

then allah will cover our faults on the

play52:31

day of judgment when the hadith in the

play52:33

famous hadith the prophet

play52:35

says to us that allah will bring bring

play52:38

the slave

play52:39

of his when the judgment start he will

play52:42

get him close to him

play52:43

and then he will put a shade or a

play52:46

barrier

play52:47

between him and everyone else so

play52:49

basically it's a private discussion

play52:51

and allah says to him

play52:55

do you remember you know the so-and-so

play52:57

saying oh my slave

play52:58

do you remember such and such sin then

play53:01

the

play53:02

the the slave says yes yes

play53:05

then allah says do you remember such and

play53:08

such sin

play53:09

then allah says the slave says

play53:13

yes and then allah will keep reminding

play53:16

him of sins

play53:17

that he did in the in his life that

play53:20

nobody knew

play53:21

about except allah that allah

play53:24

covered for him that he made a sitter

play53:26

for him so not even the closest one

play53:28

knew about those sins and then allah

play53:31

will keep

play53:32

you know reminding the habit the slave

play53:34

of those things to the point that the

play53:36

slave the prophet

play53:37

is telling us that the slave would think

play53:39

that's it

play53:40

they are completely uh you know gone

play53:43

basically they are completely screwed

play53:45

then allah says the way i

play53:48

shielded and i covered up for your sins

play53:50

in this dunya

play53:52

i will cover them up in this subhanallah

play53:55

that's who we are dealing with

play53:58

that's the merciful we are dealing with

play54:00

subhanallah so

play54:02

inshaallah you know i my hope here is

play54:04

that as we move into this series we are

play54:07

we gain practical knowledge that will

play54:09

help us

play54:10

get closer to the prophet sallam get

play54:12

closer to allah

play54:13

and then get closer to jannah

play54:22

subhanallah
