okay uh so let's talk first of all um

you were there on Saturday what did you

think of the fight just your overall

thoughts on the fight and how it played

out you know first round was like

uh Islam dominate him first round I said

no way so Dustin was looking bad in the

first round but second third and like in

other rounds he was looking so good and

I thought like if uh it's going to be de

decision right now Dustin could win

because it's in us and the like crowd

like everybody support him and uh it was

uh super excited fight you know and I

was uh I had very I had fun when I was

watching that fight you know it was back

and forth like they punch each other and

uh Islam tried to wrestle and he

couldn't do what he wanted to do so he I

I think like Dustin showed very good

fight for him so but like unfortunately

he got choke and uh yeah if he could

survive last like two minutes you know

and uh he could win this fight you know

because it was some some people say two

and two some people say three and one

but like never know fifth round is the

the most important round were you

and uh sometimes people the judges see

the the Cs you know and like uh what's

the body say so were you surprised that

Dustin had as much success as he

had I wasn't you know because uh I knew

he h h very good and like I told

everybody it's like 6040 everybody told

like oh Islam going to win him like 100%

you know he he he's not going to give

him any chance

but like I knew it's going to be tough

fight you know and uh Dustin he's a dog

so I wasn't I wasn't

like uh the his the fend of wrestling

was super good and the uh Islam couldn't

choke him but like when he got tied in

the fifth round yeah he got it when

you're watching that fight and maybe

you're you're seeing um Dustin have

success in in stopping the takedowns

he's having success on the feet are you

watching that saying

oh man if I'm in there with him this is

going to be a great night for me like

are you looking at it from that Vantage

Point how you would Faire against the

Islam that we saw on

Saturday uh you know it wasn't the best

his performance he looked not that he

got tired and like he was

slow uh and uh I feel like Islam doesn't

have very good condition so or like

maybe he got sick or whatever but uh the

I I'm not like judging uh he him just

because of last his fight you know he's

uh I gotta watch all his fights and like

take him serious and uh he's number one

like he's a f for f fighter and uh you

know I'm just uh I just I'm just going

to prepare like the best version of

Islam M I'm not going to like

underestimate him or like or Justin

Dustin can def he's wrestling I'm going

to defend as well so but like I'm going

to do my work and I know what I got to

do oh what do you think happens if you

fight the version of Islam that we we

saw on on

Saturday yeah it was uh it would be very

easy fight for me what do you mean by

easy like how do you think that plays

out how how does it

end I mean I could I could over wrestle

him that fight as well because he got

tired you you like when you when you're

tired you know when you're tied you can

you can't do [ __ ] so right and uh even

if you have the best skills in the world

so if you're tied you done do you think

that that's a thing that has plagued him

throughout his career do do you think

that his cardio is an issue or just in

that

fight I mean if uh all his five rounds

fights he got he got tied with wcos he

got tied with Dustin and uh hopefully

it's going to be my key you know uh to

win this fight mhm because of my card

after the fight were you surprised that

your name didn't come up in the postf

fight interview either from Joe Rogan or

him no because uh you know why Islam

going to

try uh you know not take this fight

because this is like the most dangerous

fight for him but Dana White said Arman

next and Arman going to fight with Islam

makach because and he said like

everybody wants to see that fight and

like every uh

everybody in UFC and out of UFC knows

like who is going to give him the

hardest fight in UFC so if he pass me he

if he wins me yeah he could go uh 170 or

whatever he wants so but like I feel

like it was like just one defense from

155 Fighters and like it was the hardest

fight on on his career one of the

hardest fight so but next one me and uh

we'll see see what happened and after me

he can figure out what he wants to do

well when you're in the arena there and

he says you know 170 you know he'd like

that and all that what is your reaction

when you're hearing that in the moment

as he's speaking in the C I knew that

you knew that I knew that you know

because I knew that I'm a it's it's

better to fight with Lon Edwards he

doesn't know how to wrestle very well

like me and uh he's a 170 fight it's a

more highp fight I I understand him you

know it's the best this is better fight

if UFC offer him to fight 170 of course

if I will him I'm going to fight for the

for the belt for the double belt you

know because it's a history he can make

a history so but like I feel like he

doesn't deserve yet and uh he got to

beat a couple more fighters in 155 and

then go to 170 but like we'll see if he

wants to go 170 just leave with that

title we're going to figure out like we

can find some we need to see you yeah me

uh it's uh it's got to be the second

fight you know like my first fight was

with him and the for the title I want to

get that much you know and like

everybody wants to see that fight

because even his fans wants to see that

so excited to to see your fight with

it's one of the best fights is going to

conference he did say if if you are next

and he's okay with it you know so I

don't I don't feel like he's trying to

the best case scenario for me you like

that too why do you like that one

it's a it's a one of the best place you

know in in the world for fighting it's a

history uh Place medicine Square Garden

so boxers a lot of like one of like a

lot of events was there so I want to

fight there in my once in my life so MH

I already fought in Abu Dhabi so it's

good Abu Dhabi like my people can come

there and like they don't need visa but

like Anyway America America is a

different the people is different the

marketing is different uh and you can

get you can make more money if I'm going

to fight in medicine Squad Garden not

from UFC from the the in other companies

you know sure sure and there's a lot of

uh a lot of your fans a lot of your

country mates that are here too so as we

saw so I'm sure La is going to be La is

going to be in New York definitely that

you left the arena on Saturday did you

you know when we spoke on Friday you

were very confident then you watched him

versus Leon Edwards and after that they

going to figure out who is fighting

problem M event in October in

Dhabi and if Chay wins he he he could be

in Main Event in October and we we can

fight in November in medicine Square

Garden mhm if not yeah probably we going

to fight for in October because someone

got a fight from Muslim Fighters you

know in Abu Dhabi sure sure okay um uh

you're happy that you get you'll you'll

get Islam because of the history because

of the first fight um obviously Dustin I

know you're not the best of friends but

ATT fighter as well were you sad for him

on Saturday it's probably better for you

that Islam won right because as we

discussed on Friday if Dustin would have

won maybe they would have done rematches

in that but also just as someone who I

think you have respect for and you see

in the gym you know and he's talking

about his family how like could you

describe the emotions that you were

feeling there because I'm sure it was a
