it well in my opinion I think that
motivation is something that helps you
to achieve things it is basically the
best way that I can explain it to you
because you can't really explain
motivation motivation is different for
anyone it's such an individual thing
that it's very hard to put like a
specific pinpoint on what motivation is
everyone has their own way of being
motivated staying motivated and finding
motivation but what is inspiration then
well for me I think that inspiration is
when I see someone achieving something
that I want to achieve but inspiration
can also be whenever I finish an edit of
a video that I'm making because it
really makes me feel good and I feel
inspired to do so many more videos when
I finish one video up so motivation and
inspiration are two entirely separate
things in my opinion but it's also very
important on how you spend your time or
are you using it or are you abusing it
abusing your time is when in my opinion
you spend it on unnecessary stuff stuff
that doesn't bring you any sort of joy
and makes you feel like you're worth
less than when you actually start
spending the time on it and I think that
one of the best things that I can give
you on unnecessary stuff is Doom
scrolling when you scroll different
social media apps just to pass time that
time could have been used useful for you
to use on something different instead of
you know lying on your couch scrolling
Instagram for another 2 hours and then
laying on your couch again scrolling
through snapchat or Tik Tok or whatever
the youngsters use these days but all of
those similar things is in my opinion
when you abuse your time using your time
though is when you're for example using
Instagram to search for inspiration
someone that inspires you to go out and
create someone that inspires you to make
more someone that inspires you to do
something differently but it can also be
practicing a skill to become better at
something practicing video editing
practicing how to play guar practicing
how to do cor simply doing something
that brings you closer to your goals but
using your time also involves acting
upon your ideas because it's very easy
to get an idea you're going to do this
you're going to do this idea but one
month passed and you haven't done the
idea and then another month passed and
then 6 months have passed and that idea
is still not done acting upon your ideas
is a great way to use your time so how
do you actually become motivated then
this is going to be different for
everyone but I'm going to share my
experience here and I think that one of
the most important things is the setting
up goals both big and small if this is
your first time watching me then you
probably don't know my backstory but I
was doing bodybuilding for 13 years yeah
I was I was big like this big I mean I
still have a little bit of guns but it's
not the same in one way I wish it was
but in another I don't but one of the
goals that I set up to myself was that I
wanted to weigh 100 kilos and it took me
several years to even reach that point
but when I did it felt so freaking good
it Felts like almost on top of the world
I achieved what I set out to do the
bigger goal that I had was to look like
Arnold swz I didn't look like him
because his physique is one of kind but
if I can say so myself that's fine I got
pretty close having a big and small goal
is crucial to be able to see the full
picture of something that you want to
achieve and it's also very important
that you embrace your failures because
failures is a part of your success I
know it sounds cliche but that's
actually true you get to dare to fail
when others don't because that is one of
the biggest things that will set you
apart from the rest don't be afraid to
start from scratch after 13 years of
doing bodybuilding I decided that you
know enough is enough I I want to do
something else because I was at 130
kilos I was a heavy ass dude and trust
me my niece feels it now it's
like bending down forget it but I didn't
really want to set up another goal
within bodybuilding or working out
because I was a big dude I had
absolutely zero interest in doing any
sort of competition I did a contest prep
once and it was the
worst thing that I have ever done it was
horrible I do not recommend if you're
thinking about doing it but if you do my
respect to you for putting up with it so
what I did is that I stopped
bodybuilding and set up a goal that I
wanted to become good at doing
videography instead and I could do both
I mean like I could do videography for 2
hours today and then bodybuilding for 2
hours a day and then food prepping for 2
hours I mean like the time adds up
eventually realize that you don't have
enough time to do all the things that
you want to do so what I did was that I
put botb building aside set up a new
goal for myself within videography and
then went for that instead and now I'm
standing here with a YouTube channel
over 600,000 subscribers which is wild I
never thought about this being an actual
reality if this is your first time here

something that can make you incredibly
motivated again and you never know if
those two paths further down the line is
going to come back and become one in the
future so how do you stay motivated if
you become motivated well I have a
saying that I think is very true to this
day and that is enjoy the present but
focus on the future been through so many
different things in my life I I haven't
even touched base on all the different
things but I dropped out of high school
I was bullied in high school I didn't
have a job for a very long time I have
absolutely zero grades I worked
part-time jobs and I've also had over
15,000 in debt with an interest of 177%
I've definitely been through some hard
times not the worst but definitely hard
times but if I were to just live right
now like there's no tomorrow then I
would be out I don't know traveling the
world and jumping from airplanes and
helicopters and there so many different
things but honestly I want to survive
and have a future and that is why I'm
focusing on my future but enjoying the
present and if I want to achieve the
future that I see for myself I need to
focus on that I need to make sure that
the things that I do today is aiming
towards that future and setting up part-
time's goals has been a huge thing for
me on how to stay motivated because if
you just go out you set up the biggest
goal ever ever and then you don't have
any small part-time goals then it's
going to be overwhelming it's going to
be super hard for you to achieve that
goal without having those small Stepping
Stones to jump off so for example the
house that I'm living in right now and
this very garage that I'm standing in
that I've built with my own two hands
was the biggest goal that I've ever set
up for myself in my entire life but to
be able to achieve that I had to set up
part-time goals and make sure that did
everything in my power to be able to
reach the Big Goal that I set out to do
and staying motivated is about having
people around you that actually push you
up and lift you up push you towards the
goal and help you when the struggles
arises instead of having people that is
complaining that is jealous that is just
talking behind your back whenever you're
not around I am very selective with the
friends that I'm actually spending time
with and talking with I don't want to
have someone in my life that's just
dragging me down I want to have people
that lift me up and I want to be one of
those persons to that person as well are
your friends that you're having actually
being that helpful empowering friend or
are they dragging you down with bad
energy and I know there's going to be a
bunch of different things that will
happen in your life that is going to
take you away from one thing and you got
to have to invest time into another
thing but always try to aim for those
small part-time goals in order to get to
the big goal and the last thing that I'm
going to leave you with is that
motivation for me is when I can be a
part of creating my own success
