liberal clásico de estas ideas de estado

panameño había surgido en 1999 lo cual
es falso es decir cómo la cultura nació
ahora pero si hubo un auge importante

soberanía sobre la totalidad del
territorio nacional y en estos últimos
15 años se han formado
movimientos más que todos
liderizados por
gestores por emprendedores que han hecho
un movimiento de cultura y de gestión
cultural en el último el último 15 años
los últimos tres lustros
y hay algo muy importante que señalar
aquí algunas características de ese
movimiento es que
el estado no ha sido el que dicta la
política cultural y dios nos libre
que el estado no nos financia y es un
gran riesgo después voy a hablar de eso

espontáneo requiere además de
profesionalización de hacerlo
autosostenible y de hacerlo de cara al

a mí me pasó algo en estos últimos 15

autores y artistas hacer un festival
pensamos en boquete

ya la vida san francisco la montaña
estás soltera man voy para allá y
resulta que yo soy veragüense y tengo
familia ya me quería mucho tiempo allá y
tenía el contacto con la familia y había
un antecedente había una feria local
llamada la feria de los postres que
tenía varios años haciéndose ya bien
hay una feria cultural e identitaria no
tenía el aspecto del arte pero sí tenía
lo cultural que era su legado
gastronómico
su autoestima y sobre todo algo que los
identificaba que eran supuestamente las
recetas que habían dejado los monjes
cuando estaba en la iglesia barroca de
1600 de manera que ellos trataron de
rescatar eso y hay un paralelismo dicen
entre los postres que hacen en sevilla
con los postres que hacen en san
francisco la montaña además kaká son con
ingredientes tropicales y allá no se
trató de hacer lo que se pudo con lo que
había a mano
de esa manera empezamos hablé con mi
familia en primer lugar la primera
lección con tu vas a hacer esto es que
tú tienes que hablar con la gente del
pueblo tú no puedes llegar por muchos
estudios que tenga por muy virtuoso que
seas y hacer las cosas porque tú quieres
tú tienes que consultar
la familia yo primero demandó una carta
a los representes a los representantes
de corregimientos al alcalde me reuní
con el consejo municipal les expliqué a
este que quiere acercar y bueno
aceptaron que hicieron festival piloto
en el 2010 no casado con la feria de
postres porque no era una patronal no
eran carnaval no era una feria de azuero
era algo nuevo yo no sabían de qué era
eso por mucho que yo le explicara con
palabras tenían que verlo en acción de
manera que lo vimos en acción y en el
año 2010 hicimos el primer festival que
fueron como 50 personas había más
artistas que personas porque lleve como
18 artistas 20 y habían como 50 personas
luego a la familia le gustó y los
juntamos el 2011 para acá
y eso se ha convertido en lo que veíamos
un laboratorio de cultura laboratorio de
identidad y de educación la parte fuerte
para mí más allá del espectáculo es la
parte de los talleres todos los artistas
que van allá tienen que dar talleres
porque las generaciones de miedo ya las
perdimos ya las perdimos porque es muy
difícil que cambiemos tú tienes que
trabajar con los chiquillos que es lo
que ustedes han visto en estas fotos
para que ellos vayan cambiando mira
estos adolescentes que están ahí antes
del primer festival ellos tenían como
ocho años ahora tienen 13 14 y han
seguido viviendo ya están creciendo y
han crecido con el festival
esa parte educativa es la más importante
porque así tú te generas un público tú
no esa gente ya han escuchado cinco años
jazz rock barroco todo eso ha escuchado
esos chiquillos ya los pelados saben que
son los instrumentos saben que es la
pintura y entonces lo importante es
formar
formar escuchar la retroalimentación de
ellos porque me sucedió que una vez
yo les puse mi rock ellos querían murgas
querían típico y se formó algo que es
con la idea que los quiero dejar en esta
charla y es con lo que quiero que se
lleven de conclusión
aquí podemos hacer gestión cultural con
la lucha de las culturas o mediante el
diálogo de las culturas panamá es un
país con muchas identidades panamá no es
un país con una sola identidad y nadie
puede dictar la identidad de lo que es
un panameño la cultura la gestión
cultural lo que nosotros hacemos se
trata de entender las identidades y a
través del arte y de todas las
manifestaciones culturales entendernos
los unos a los otros para
con vivir
y en esa manera auto nos abrimos y
sabemos que hay muchas identidades y
muchas
naciones en un solo país en esa medida
nos enriquecemos aprendemos a escuchar y
pueden ser exitosos nuestros proyectos
es más en la misma ciudad
hay muchas identidades y esto nos puede
enseñar a comunicarnos entre nosotros
acuérdense panam es un país de
diversidad de flora y fauna y hasta de
gente así que esto significa que
dialoguemos como un ejemplo de diálogo
de cultura podemos llegar lejos y esta
es la idea de este festival que lleva 5
años

quiero dejar que es lo que hemos
aprendido de hacer este festival
llegamos tratando de imponer una cultura
hemos aprendido del pueblo y ahora
