Transcripts
so people are always asking me for
recommendations when it comes to things
because they know how truly great my
taste is and how knowledgeable i am
whether it be anime manga video games
you name it they look to me to guide
them and honestly i don't blame them
it's only right that they will look to
someone great for guidance but for a
long time now
i've ignored their wants and wishes
feeling like they are not worthy of such
a video for me
so you might be asking yourself well
what changed you and what made you
decide to make this video
three reasons one my real supporters
they have been supporting so good lately
that i decided to reward them
two there are not many good manga
recommendation videos on youtube
i've seen so many other people make
manga recommendation videos and most of
them are complete trash they suck
these people have terrible taste and all
recommend the same manga over and over
again
so it's up to me to bring an actual good
list proving once again how truly great
i am
and lastly i've been reading a lot and i
mean a lot of manga lately and i just so
happen to feel like talking about some
of those manga that i've been reading
so yeah you people should feel blessed
honored that i'm making this video
because honestly i didn't have to so i'm
only going to be talking about each
series briefly that way i'm not here all
day
so if you want to know more about a
certain series you can always look it up
for yourself you can google it ask alexa
the choice is yours so without wasting
any more time let's get started
alright so kicking this list off is die
where gelder i'm probably not even close
to pronouncing it the right way but
honestly who cares
if i had to compare this manga to
anything it's pretty similar to black
lagoon where you have the city with a
bunch of organized crime
violence drugs and badass female
characters the art is incredible the
fights are brutal and the story has been
pretty interesting so far i'm very
curious to see where this one goes
because so far i've been loving it
next up is coverless and this manga
solar flare causes the planet to lose
all of his color leaving humans deformed
and close to extinction
now the story starts off with the main
character going against this cult who
worships color and wants to use the
power that's hidden in color for their
own personal gain
now while researching the cult he ends
up rescuing this girl from them that
they kidnapped
and the story pretty much goes from
there it's kind of confusing and hard to
explain but
just read it trust me this mug is really
unique it's interesting
how manga is usually drawn in black and
white and in this manga they add hits of
color
in certain panels to signify their being
color in the story it's really unique
and there's some core action the main
character is a complete badass who gets
stuff done
this is a manga that definitely needs
more attention it's hard to find a lot
of information about it
i found it honestly by pure luck but
hopefully it gets more popular
up next is heavenly delusion i just
started reading this one and i'm really
enjoying it so far this is a
post-apocalyptic manga with a great
sense of mystery it follows two teams as
they navigate this fallen city
there's these weird man-eated monsters
that they have to watch out for as well
as other humans
the story has been pretty interesting so
far the characters are silent the art is
good
and it's been a very enjoyable
experience next up is gigant the creator
of guns is back with another one and
it's just as weird and over the top so
to keep things simple here
boy meets girl who happens to be a porn
star they start dating she turns into a
giant and starts fighting aliens
yeah it makes absolutely no sense but
that's the beauty of it
it's so enjoyable that who cares i'm
just here for the ride baby
there's great art and some genuinely
hilarious moments mixed in as long as
the manga is able to keep me entertained
and that's all that matters and this one
has definitely been able to do
just that very rarely can something keep
me on the edge of my seat while reading
but blood on the tracks manages to do it
with ease this manga tells the story of
a mother and her relationship with her
son and what starts off as her maybe
being a little bit too overprotective
towards him
turns into downright craziness as you
quickly realize
there's definitely something wrong with
this [ย __ย ] this is psychological horror
at its finest and i love it
easily one of the most disturbing manga
i've read in a long time and the crazy
part is i read this manga years ago
but i forgot the name and i couldn't
remember where i was at in the story
and then years later i just happened to
come across it again i was like oh i
remember that
and i started reading it again and man
i'm glad that i did because
this is a hell of a ride man i genuinely
feel bad for the sun in this story all
that he goes through all he has to deal
with
i couldn't imagine having a mother as
crazy as this next up is to the
abandoned sacred beast so
basically there was a war between the
north and the south and to get an
advantage the north started
experimenting on people and turning them
into these beasts capable of winning the
war
now fast forward the story follows a
girl who wants revenge because her
father who was one of these beasts was
killed
she finds the man who did it and he
convinces her to go on the journey with
him to show her why these beasts are
better off dead
the story has been pretty interesting
there are tons of epic monster battles
and the art is simply amazing
definitely some of the best art i've
seen in a while and i can't wait to read
more
next up is shibuya goldfish so in this
manga goldfish suddenly start to appear
out of nowhere
and begin eating people there's blood
and guts everywhere
and you might be thinking go fish that
eat people oh but come on young how is
that even possible
this sounds incredibly stupid and it is
but that doesn't stop it from being
entertaining
the premise is so ridiculous that it
just works for some reason
this market is good old-fashioned fun
seeing people get eaten by goldfish in
the most hilarious and brutal ways
imaginable
is awesome they're just swimming around
doing their thing and it's oddly
satisfying watching a bunch of man
eating goldfish
i've been having a lot of fun with this
one next up we got smoking parade so
this is by far one of the edgiest manga
i've ever read it's almost hilarious how
edgy it is
so basically you have this technology
that can replace limbs organs etc but
all is not what it seems because this
new technology takes over the host
and turns them into these violent blood
thirsty murderers that just kill
everything around them
then you have this team that comes in
and deals with them before they get out
of control
it isn't anything particularly unique or
original but
it's still an enjoyable read i love edgy
manga where there's a lot of blood and
gore
and stuff like that going on so it
definitely has that and that's enough to
keep me reading
next manga that i've been reading is
called bloody monday this story follows
a young hacker who gets his hands on a
data chip with information involving
this deadly virus and from there on now
people get murdered
framed so on and so forth and he has to
use his hacking skills to put a stop to
the people trying to spread around this
deadly virus before it's too late
i've always loved manga or really any
form of media having to do with viruses
but it's kind of ironic i pick now of
all times to read a manga about a virus
but with that being said this manga has
been very solid all around and i
definitely can't wait to read more
next manga is tara for mars so i've
known about this manga for the longest
and i've always wanted to read it but
for some reason just never did until now
so in this manga scientists sent roaches
to mars as some sort of plan to make it
habitable for humans in the future
fast forward to the future and a group
is sent to mars and upon landing they
find out that those roaches
have mutated and turned into these
humanoid roach creatures
and you can't step on these
[ย __ย ] and you can't use raid
either
these people start getting clapped left
and right because these roaches are just
strong as hell it's just a bunch of
insanity and i love it
the roaches are so damn creepy but
hilarious at the same time with some of
the faces they make
and the things that they do this has
definitely been one of my favorite manga
to read at the moment
i picked hell's paradise up on a whim
simply because i thought the cover for
volume 1 looked dope
that's usually how i find a lot of my
manga if the cover art looks cool to me
i'll check it out
sometimes it works and i find a
genuinely great mogan other times the
cover was deceiving and the manga is
actually some butt
this is one of those times where it
worked out so you have an assassin where
basically he's about to be executed
until he's given a choice either die or
travel to this mysterious island in
search of this elixir
and if he finds it and brings it back
he'll get a pardon and be free he
decides that he wants to live and takes
the offer but he's not the only one the
offer was also given to a bunch of other
criminals
so they all travel to this island and
that's where the story begins
now the island is extremely messed up
there's all types of weird monsters
roaming around
and nothing really makes sense so he has
to deal with all these weird creatures
as well as other prisoners
uh because you know everybody's out to
get each other and everything like that
so certain alliances are formed and it's
just really interesting to see it unfold
and i'm really uh enjoying this manga so
far man the art is great the fights are
dope the main character is a ninja
you mean like naruto man no don't get
excited naruto it's not that
corny nard so this is my ninja no it's
nothing like that it's nothing like that
these are real ninjas here man the
abilities that he uses in battle are
extremely fun to watch
i can't wait to learn more about this
island and see where the story goes
so there you have it 11 manga that i've
been reading and think you should too
man do i love manga there's just so many
great stories out there
so hopefully you were able to find
something new to read on this list if
not well who cares go find something on
your own then
