Transcripts
hey guys
so um I just wanted to let you know this
is going to be the weekend in the life
of my baby think it over real Care Baby
3 Cody um it's my principles of Human
Services project so right now he is in
The
Bouncer and it's on he hasn't doing
anything much um and here's his car seat
and I have his extra diaper and bottle
in there and then right here I've got
his blanket set up and then all the
stuff he came with that with him there
he is over
there so it's 5:33 and I wanted to show
you guys my documents I have so far on
him here's the book it says Cody and it
says Friday so from at um I get off
school at 2:30 p.m. so at 3:00 p.m. he
turned on and from 3:00 to 5:00 he was
asleep and then at 5:00 he woke up and I
changed his diaper he cried for about 15
seconds until I was able to chime him um
from like five from then at like 5:06 he
wanted to be fed and he fed until like
512 he probably cried for about like 17
seconds maybe um and then from like 512
to
5:16 he was burped and he probably cried
for like 6 seconds before I chimed him
and right now it's 5 like 35 or whatever
and he hasn't done anything since his
burp he has made a little bit of coing
noises but nothing that I would chime
for so the last time I chimed was 512 so
he's in the bouncer obviously right now
and I'm just waiting for him to do
something else and I'm going to this
video is going to be over the time lapse
of the whole weekend I might do two
parts but it's Friday today and I have
him until Sunday morning at 6:00 a.m. he
will turn off and then I have to bring
him home or I mean I have to bring him
back to school on Monday morning um so
yeah I'll have him for a full day and
two nights of him being
activated so now that you guys are up to
date here is Cody um he's just being
entertained in this little thing right
here and he has his little thing on him
and he's really
cute so he's just in the bouncer and it
is on and I'm set up in my room right
now like here's my hamster cage and
everything I'm not in the nursery or
anything with the Reborns I'm just
devoting all my time this weekend to
Cody there he goes he's coing a little
bit I think he's he likes the
bouncer
so good G bounce it around a little bit
get it to
rock give it one little
push and it'll rock around so I haven't
had any head support issues I haven't
had any SBS which is shake and baby
syndrome I haven't had any really
problems except for a little bit on the
bus which was like at like maybe around
3 when he might have cried a little bit
when the bus was shaking cuz I was still
on the bus when he turned on anyways um
I'll get back to you guys when just
something hey guys so um he's feeding I
think it's
like it's
5:54 and he is
eating I think it took about like three
or 4 seconds for me to chime him he's
just drinking right now he's in the
bouncer so yeah I'll get back to you
guys in a
second
all right guys so it is 6 o' and Cody is
done eating so he fed for like seven
minutes so
yeah I have him back up on the bed CU
he'll probably need burp in a
second all right guys so um it's like
maybe like :01 or two and he's being
burped right
now so yeah that was about 2 seconds of
crying before chime so
yeah all right guys it's 6:04 and he's
finally done burping so I'm just waiting
for him to make another
move okay it's 6:05 and I just had to
change his diaper and that was probably
about like you know like 5 Seconds of
crying till I chimed and maybe 14
seconds until the diaper got
on okay guys so unfortunately I have to
use the restroom so I guess I'm going to
bring him in the restroom in his car
seat just in case
all right guys it's
6:14 and he needed to be
rocked so he's in the bouncer and I'm
kind of moving it at first I had him in
my arms but I decided just to put him in
the
bouncer all right guys it's 6:30 and
Cody finally stopped rocking so like he
rocked for 17 minutes that was crazy so
oh my gosh so now I'm just waiting for
what he's going to do
next all right guys it's 6:40 and I
think I just had a miscare session so he
started crying at about like 6:36 or so
and
basically uh at first I tried feeding
him that wouldn't work then I tried
changing his diaper that wouldn't work
tried burping him that wouldn't work and
I'm just kind of rocking him and then
it's 6:40 now and he stopped crying so
I'm pretty sure I had a miscare session
there uh which is going to deduct quite
a bit of points probably about nine or
10 points for my grade so I don't know
I'm probably at like a 90 so far and
it's only th it's only Friday so I'm a
bit concerned for my grade already
um so um I'm hoping that it's gonna be
okay I'm hoping maybe it was just a
little fussiness or
something I mean I did chime him only
like like two seconds after he started
crying so that's good but I'm just I'm
hoping it wasn't a miscare session cuz
that would be bad he cried for probably
about 2 minutes so
yeah all right guys so it's 6:45 and
he's eating so I think he's better he's
not as fussy so I'm hoping he won't eat
for too long
long all right guys I know I'm not
supposed to do that but I am propping
the bottle up cuz I need a break so
while he eats I'm going to go run to the
kitchen get a bottle of water while he
drinks well while he eats or whatever
cuz I cannot hold that bottle for
another like half hour or
whatever all right guys it's 7 o00 and
he ate for 15
minutes I'm going to go ahead and change
him into one of his other outfits that
he W that he came
with
hey
guys so it's 8:45 and I did a bunch of
stuff with them but now I just
eating hey guys so Cody's asleep it's
been a long time I took him outside we
did punch bunch of stuff I missed I
think two feedings or something when I
was outside I had one of my friends with
me and I had Cody in my friend with me
um the one I named this baby after and I
actually it's a long story but I have a
crush on this boy so that's why I named
him Cody um but anyway so it was kind of
funny because Cody was like pushing
around the stroller with Cody Jr in it
and Cody start Cody junr started crying
so I had to like you know randomly on
the street I had to like change this
baby's diaper and this woman came up to
us and we were like oh this this just a
school project it was really really bad
and it's ruining my life oh my my gosh I
like this project but at the same time I
don't like it cuz it limits your weekend
and it limits so you can like have fun
and
stuff and sorry I'm eating cheese but
anyways
yeah hey guys so it's 5 o' or 5
something a.m. and it's Saturday and I
haven't been keeping completely up to
date with Cody but he's in his pajamas
and he just woke up and I had to change
his diaper so yeah
okay so it's 5:15 a.m. on Saturday and
he's um so I basically I Chang his
diboard and I fed him for like 15
minutes and then I burped him and stuff
so he's sleeping and I'm just waiting
for him to wake up again and I'll
probably need to give him you know maybe
a rocking or a bottle or whatever so
yeah hey guys so it's 6:19 a.m. and it's
Saturday and Cody's been really fu this
morning he's sleeping right now but like
at like 6 like 15 or 14 or 13 or
whatever he was crying and I couldn't
figure out what it was I did chime him
so I know that that was right but like I
couldn't figure out first I tried
feeding him the bottle wouldn't work um
and then I tried changing his diaper
that didn't work then I tried like
burping him that did not work and I
tried rocking him didn't work so I just
put him in the bouncer and I like did
that and I just kind of went like this
and I think it might have just been a
fussy cry but the student Care ID thing
or student care packet thing it says
that um if the baby's fussy it will coup
at the end and he did not coup at the
end of his crying so I'm hoping it's not
miss marked as a Mis care session cuz
I've I've had a bunch of those happen
and it's going to deduct a lot of points
for my grade if I keep missing care um
so I'm hoping it's just
fussiness I did um I did everything I
could to try to help him
so hopefully that will be recorded so
and I really don't want to fail this
project CU I don't want to have to
retake this project cuz I just it's just
going to make my confidence go way down
especially because I love babies and
stuff so I really don't want to have to
fail and have to retake um take another
baby home again for a
night um I mean we got the option to
take it home for one night but I just
decided for the weekend but still I I
don't want to have to take the baby home
again
hey guys so it's 10:45 it's Saturday
he's just he's just eating so yeah it's
been a long
morning hey guys it's 6:37 and it's
Saturday and he's just eating um he just
woke up from like a thre hour nap and
yeah so I'm just
rocking his car seat as he
eats hey guys so I'm just sitting here
because the project is over it is Sunday
and it's like 12:00 a.m. and or yeah no
12:00 p.m. yeah 12:00 p.m. sorry
um and the babies's turned off and that
project I think I'd have to say it's
probably one of the worst most horrible
projects I've ever done I'm sorry but I
did not enjoy this project at all um um
I did enjoy it at first but then it got
just so stressful I realized that like
when you're so young you can you cannot
take care of a child like it's like so
ridiculously hard so anyone out there
who thinks they're ready to have a baby
you're probably wrong um if you're like
you know a teenager or
whatever um I hope there's no one out
there who does think that way as a
teenager that's pretty bad but anyways
this project was very
very difficult so thank you guys for
watching and I hope I did not fail the
project but there's a few times I got
very frustrated so yeah thanks guys bye
