My booth this year is inside of Obayashi Factory's booth.. so many people have come to see me here and I am so thankful for that
This is my first TAS is 4 years...
I wan to thank Obayashi Factory for inviting me to join them here and I couldnt think of a better booth for Steve's POV to be in.. check this out
Look at this white and black Hakosuka with the dry carbon
and another bad-ass Hakosuka here as well
this Huracan is of course bad ass too but this is also a perfect Steve's POV vehicle..
this Nissan/Datsun Sunny truck... and it even has the same Banzai Racing Equipment fenders and wheels I have on my Sunny truck
They are running the same A12 Nissan engine I am but have it fully tuned and built
and look at the custom rear suspension set up.. 4 linked and really nice for me to reference on my truck
Obayashi Factory is known for their audio builds.. and check out this Nissan leaf they built
This car is incredible in every way imaginable
I dont know a lot about bikes but this one off all custom build is incredible!
and it looks so cool trailered behind this little kei truck all California styled out with a surfboard too!
Obayashi Factory! Thank you for your kind hospitality!
A lot of people have been talking about this custom Porsche build
check out how wide this car is!
it looks like a twin turbo as well! wow!
There so many custom cars here of so much variety.. thats why I love coming here and missed it
I love classic cars more than anything and this Nissan Cima Y31 really caught my eye from the first day
I love the stance and the BBS wheels too... this car is perfect!
I have never seen a Japanese classic like this one before and I absolutely love it!
Is it a Nissan Cedric? It is here in the Veilside booth and it is fantastic.. I love the color, the headlights and the grill design too
I wonder what year it is?
It is a 1973 model and we are about to see under the hood
OMG look under the hood of this car!
its a 3.2 liter L engine and look at the ITBs and the full custom header as well! wow!!!
I am in love with this car.. I would love to own one one day..,., put this on my list Nino!
these are so rare Steve...
I know but put it on the list anyway.. lol
so many cool Suzuki Jimny's here
I guess if your company name is Jimny World you better have a lot of Jimnys available... lol
4 more Jimnys here too very cool!!
This is the East Hall number 8.. and this is the Work Wheel booth
Look at this car and the wheels are just perfect on it
I love Work Wheels and have them on our Supra and Hachiroku too
hey got some of the nicest wheels around! 2 Thumbs Up for Work Wheels!
The Toyota Gazoo Racing booth is huge!! there is such a variety of cars here from race cars to new cars too
and here are some Toyota models I am not familiar with
This is a Toyota Century? no way!!!
Did they make this thing bigger to accommodate larger people of today?? lol
This thing is cool and its the first time I've seen one in person.. I like it!
I tend to see things other than cars at events like this... look at those employees there.. they are picking up dust and lint by hand.. that would never happen in America!
I love watching the set up and tear down as well..,. it shows so much of the cultural aspects of Japan I love especially teamwork
Look a the guy over there sweeping out his booth... you dont normally see that by regular company employees in America...
This is one aspect of Japanese culture that I love to see and I think we as Americans can learn from
OMG look a these cars here!
Is this a Toyota Century Nino?
Not quite Steve.. look it over again...
ohhh I see now... it is a Toyota Celsior or a Lexus LS400!
it is so cool looking!!! its got the Century grill and Celsior inside!
2 thumbs up for this ride!!
and next to it is what I assume to be a "real" Century?
this Century is sooo cool!!
I like the VIP style and the stance a lot!!!
This car is so nice... you almost never see cars so nicely styled like this in America... so nice!
In America we can only import 25 year or older JDM cars but these Jimnys are new models but they look so retro I almost always mistaker the old and new ones
this thing is so cool!
You have a hard time telling the old ones with the new Jimnys
This one may be new but the colors and wheels are so retro looking
I like the off-road bumper too
and this is a Daihatsu Kei truck? man does this thing look good!
Kei trucks have certainly gone luxury style looking at this...
this grill is really impressive too
I just realized this looks like a mini Land Cruiser grill!
I wouldn't mind owning one of these either 25 years from now... I'll be 70 something years old but I'll be ready for it... lol
I like this truck a lot,,, the colors remind me of the retro Toyota colors on the Back to the Future pickup
even the seats are retro style!
am I right?? this is a new Jimny riight?
yep..
Yeah!!!
and OMG look a this perfect original Nissan Silvia!
what a beautiful S13 Nissan Silvia...
these are so expensive now...
America too!
There are some Kuhl cars in the other hall as well, but Champagne Gold is definitely their theme this year
Kuhl always has an incredible display at the TAS
they must be betting that gold will be a popular color this upcoming year
Look a the level of detail in this Prius!
There is no one in America driving a Prius as cool as this one
I really don't pay attention normally to Prius but this one is so cool!
Gold like this is a very popular color in China
I like this look... very cool imo
LED designs and technology in Japan is so far ahead of the states... I love seeing these lights
I really enjoy seeing these displays every time I come to TAS
these lights are beautiful it really shows the detail of Japanese designs...
I love seeing these types of things!
Kato-san! Nice to see you!
why did you come so early Steve?? lol
it's early for me too!! lol this is the only time we can meet! lol
the best part of TAS for me is when it ends and all the cars leave...
