Transcripts
hey guys in this video I'm going to show
you some work from home jobs at Amazon
who is hiring right now for a lot of
different jobs that are not too hard to
qualify for and we have some different
ones that are either entry level and no
experience as well so we have Amazon
again hiring right now and they actually
have a few different jobs available for
remote workers and one of them is called
a technical CS associate for Blink now
Amazon they hire for a lot of different
jobs and they have a lot of different
branches now it's not necessarily that
you are working for amazon.com you might
be working for one of Amazon's um other
companies Amazon is the parent company
to many other areas as well but for this
type of job basically your hours are
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard
time they want
someone um with excellent verbal written
communication skills in both English and
German now they also have another job
like this
where they
don't require you to be bilingual in
English or German and they also are
encouraging military veterans and
spouses to apply for these as well so
one job you might look into is the
technical CS associate for Blink then
they have a few different ones like this
one of them they mentioned they want you
to be bilingual in English and German
the other one they don't actually seem
to mention that up here so if you're
looking for something where um you
aren't bilingual or you are you might
want to check and make sure that um the
job is going to meet the requirements
that you have but also for these jobs
the hours can vary so one of them they
have like Wednesday through Sunday 8:30
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. eastern time they also
have this other one at 7:00 a.m. to 3:30
p.m. so also make sure to check the
hours as well but your key
responsibilities here or to provide
prompt efficient and detailed service by
engaging directly with blinks customers
via phone an email so you'll also work
with other customers support teams to
ensure a consistent and highquality
level of support being a voice and
advocate for customers when something
doesn't feel right working with
customers to understand how they use
blinks products to resolve their issues
and maximize their Investments acting as
an advocate for customers by reporting
and acting on observed areas for
improvement actively seeking solutions
to customer needs communicating Trends
to leadership and suggesting innovative
solutions assisting with customer
communication during blink's critical
launches and support events working
across the customer service Spectrum to
ensure a consistent highquality level of
support developing detailed knowledge
about specific product lines and
features driving Pro projects that
improve support related processes and
supporting blink subscription service so
for this particular job uh basic
qualifications are three plus years of
customer service experience work a
flexible schedule shift work area
including weekends nights Andor holidays
and by the way I'm going to show you
some others that require either no
experience or less experience than this
one so if you don't have three or two to
three years of experience like they want
in this job you can move to the next one
in this video but two plus years of
experience in technical support that is
focused first and foremost in customer
success two plus years of experience
supporting consumer Wi-Fi and Mesh
networking platforms two plus years
working with firewall configurations
parental controls and things like that
one plus years Prov providing technical
support for mobile devices and platforms
ability to work remotely and excellent
communication skills now this one they
do mention a few different languages
that they would like you to be um
bilingual in I'm also going to show you
a job that's very similar to this one
where they don't require you to be
bilingual a preferred qualifications two
plus years of customer service
experience a drive to dig into the
details of a system or process to solve
customer problems ability to document
technical customer issues technical
curiosity and excitement to work new
technologies excellent communication
skills proven success in a fast-paced
environment and experience using zenes
CRM so you have that one you have the Cs
blink job you do have another one where
this they specifically want you to speak
English and German and then they pretty
much have the same description with a
little bit different hours and then you
also have the technical customer support
job here which is also going to be
similar this one is for both ring and
blink for uh technical customer support
So for this one you will provide prompt
efficient and detailed service by
engaging directly with rings customers
being a voice and advocate for customers
working with customers to understand how
they use ring products to resolve their
issues so if you're not aware ring is
basically the like smart doorbell that
people install in their homes um you'll
also be acting as an advocate for
customers by reporting and acting on
observed areas of improvement you'll
seek solutions for customer needs
communic main Trends to leadership
assist with customer communication and
troubleshooting for ring products
working across the customer support
Spectrum to ensure a consistent high
quality level of support they also
mentioned that U you may be required to
handle various contact types including
chat email inbound and outbound voice
calls so this one they actually don't
mention anything about three years
experience they do want you to have two
years of some sort of customer service
experience you can work flexible shifts
you you have experience with Microsoft
Office two plus years of experience with
technical support two plus years of
experience supporting consumer Wi-Fi or
mesh networks um firewall configurations
parental controls one plus years are
providing technical support for mobile
and things like that so a lot of things
are the same there are a few differences
between this one and the blink job so
for this one preferred qualifications
are pretty much the same as the blink
job as well so you're looking at a lot
of different customer and technical
support jobs for this one in terms of uh
basic qualification
and having to be bilingual they do
mention bilingual in Spanish German or
French strongly preferred but it's not
necessarily a requirement as it is with
some of the other jobs like the
technical CS associate jobs as far as
another one you also have the Customer
Care Rep remote customer care they have
an Amazon Pharmacy related job here for
customer support um they might have
these in a few different states
sometimes they tell you they're hiring
across the US sometimes you have to look
specifically for each state and have a
separate listing per state but this
one's a 40h hour uh per week job this is
the Utah one I'm using for this example
and key job responsibilities are
virtually assist customers and other
advisors so you're going to be doing
this via phone email on the web Etc
you'll be dealing with billing and
insurance verification product or
service questions you'll manage calls
proactively identify solutions to
questions take a Hands-On approach to
resolving every issue you'll provide
best-in-class service experience to to
customers help answer customer inquiries
provide customers with technical support
when navigating pharmacy. amazon.com and
things like that so basic qualifications
for this one even less than the other
jobs I showed you high school diploma or
equivalent six plus months of
professional experience working with
computer and web-based tools experience
multitasking with phone and computer
skills submit and pass a pre-employment
drug test in order to be considered so
all they really say here is 6 Plus
months of professional experience
working with with computer web-based
tools have you ever worked on any job
where you've had to use a computer if
you have for six plus months you should
be able to qualify I would think that
most people looking at jobs on this
channel could probably qualify for this
particular job as long as the location
is okay uh preferred qualifications one
plusus years of relevant phone or email
customer service experience and the rest
of this is things like communication uh
customer service or call center
Healthcare environment experience
experience in working under pressure and
things like that now as far as what's
like to work here they have a 3.7 out of
five star rating 67% recommend working
here to a friend they do usually have
pretty good benefits at Amazon for
full-time workers with a four out of
five star rating so they have a lot of
the things that you might be able to get
that are employer verified so you can go
through and look for what is employer
verified here um they also have employee
discounts that's one thing worth
mentioning here that's going to be kind
of a unique benefit that most other
companies cannot really compete with
because you're getting an employee
discount at other companies sometimes
but they're not going to have as many
things as Amazon uh health insurance
vacation and pay time off things like
that many people have said that they
have pretty solid benefits uh interview
wise they have a 3.1 out of five
difficulty rating which is pretty
standard uh 177% of people had a
negative experience everybody else the
other 83% or so had a positive or
neutral experience that's actually a
very good score if you're able to work
in technical support a lot of these jobs
according to most people could pay up to
around $43,000 a year full range being
34 to 43 with an average of around 38
and that would put you closer to around
20 to $21 per hour or so if you were to
meet the high end of that but the
minimum you get paid at Amazon is
usually about $15 an hour you should not
have any job there that's less than that
because that's kind of their
companywide minimum wage now I also came
up with the uh when I type in technical
CS associate which which is another job
title for some of the ones I just showed
you the Cs agent comes up and we have a
$45 to $83,000 a year average for that
which would be around $60,000 a year if
you're kind of in the middle of that
range now another place that you can
find jobs at right now that has jobs
that are pretty similar but actually
easier to qualify for are in the
customer support area at
era. a era actually helps people with uh
different visual interpreters so this is
a great place to find jobs where
basically you're just helping people and
you're mostly helping people that are
visually impaired so you're a visual
interpreter FTE is what they call the
job it's a remote full-time position in
the United States right now so with
these types of job jobs you will answer
live video calls from their blind and
low vision customers you will then
assist one at a time with real-time
tasks in countless unique scenarios and
you will not be on camera or anything
like that so when you talk about video
calls you are not on camera just keep
that in mind so you are helping them
they might have their camera on with
their phone might be you might be
helping kind of direct them using their
phone so with this they want people um
to do basically customer support type
work and you're also just literally
assisting people who are visually
impaired so objectives for the role you
will embody the brand of course which
involves helpful consistent creative and
kindness uh provide exceptional customer
experience basically to Blind and low
vision customers contribute to the
organization's growth and success and
continue to develop and learn new skills
so responsibilities you'll clearly and
accurately present on demand visual
information to customers consistently
answer calls while scheduled display a
composed and professional demeanor
engage and support the team by participa
in team building exercises maintain
strict data privacy standards and
confidentiality maintain regular and
consistent attendance and punctuality
follow all of era's policies and
procedures anticipate explorers needs
and provide exceptional customer
experience seek an act on constructive
feedback demonstrate the ability to
adapt his uncertainties work effectively
with all people uh make timely and
quality decisions develop and maintain
effective working relationships set high
standards of performance assume
responsibility and accountability and
basically you also have to follow the
visual interpreter code of professional
conduct all this stuff is common sense
uh the visual interpreter is an
enthusiastic eer eager and articulate
Communicator Mission driven good problem
solving skills you're good with
technology comfortable using different
types of online platforms strong spatial
awareness and Keen sense of direction
strong investigative research skills
utilize creative problem solving skills
and thrives Under Pressure also possess
a strong vocabulary and has a strong
attention to detail qualifications here
a high school diploma or GED 18 years of
age or older fluent in English right to
work in the United States they do have a
few states that are excluded here uh for
whatever reason uh California's laws
make them excluded from a lot of these a
private Works Space with no background
noise and a computer system that meets
these requirements here which are not
really that hard to meet in my opinion
as long as you have a fairly new Windows
or Mac computer that's not super old I
think you'll be okay here and internet
speed is a little bit higher than a lot
of companies require but it's not too
bad if you live um in maybe a
neighborhood if you live somewhere
that's not too remote or too away from
like a major city like if you even live
in the suburbs you should be fine
minimum schedule requirements minimum 35
hours a week um possible willingness to
work weekend hours preferred
qualifications a background customer
service a call center environment or
technical support now all of this is not
required so again you do not have to
have any experience required for this
job but it's always preferred with just
about any no experien job experience
working with PE people who have
disabilities knowledgeable of the full
range of accommodations used by the
blind will Vision Community by bilingual
in French or Spanish eras values I mean
a lot of companies have very similar
values so I'm not going to go over that
too much eras operating principles um
again I'm not really going to Touch Too
Much on that part you can pause the
video and read through that if you want
but I'm trying to kind of get to the the
meat and potatoes of this application so
now obviously benefits are very
important to a lot of people you have $2
per hour base rate plus $1 to $3 per
hour depending on your your shift or
depending on what time of day you're
working so if you are working nights and
weekends this is one of those where you
can uh have that option employer
supported health insurance $400 annual
technology stip in paid sick leave paid
training 100% remote and other than that
seems to be pretty good as far as what's
like to work here that'd be 3.7 out of
five star rating and 58% recommend
working here to a friend as far as their
full range of benefits uh 2.8 out of
five stars they don't mention a lot in
terms of like retirement and insurance
and that type of thing so that probably
explains why their their rating isn't
higher interview wise 3.3 out of 5
difficulty is about standard maybe
slightly above standard difficulty uh
pretty even between positive and
negative is fairly standard as well but
still uh less than half are negative so
I would say that's a pretty good sign
and again this is up to about $23 per
hour depending on um when you are
working throughout the week so hopefully
this was helpful don't forget to
