12 um I'm a single mom
I my husband unfortunately passed away
in
december21 and since then I've been
raising my voice by
myself and that's one of the reason that
I am starting on this
YouTube um because I'm 57
and people around my age have already
retired or soon to be retired or
retiring now so I thought it's it would
be very unrealistic for me to start
looking
for the kind of job that would um create
a um career for myself I've been a
stayhome mom and wife for as long as I
could remember
and yeah so I had kind of no choice but
to look for jobs someplace else like um
self-employed or you know stuff like
that PE because it's very it's difficult
for me to find a lasting
job because companies they would rather
hire younger people so I understand that
you know they want to invest in in they
don't want to invest in older people
like
myself so I um I've been watching
tutorial videos on YouTube how to
monetize a channel how to be
successful as a YouTube Creator and I've
watched so many
and I just froze I I couldn't move like
I couldn't take the first step because I
was so
afraid to make a mistake and I wasn't
really comfortable talking to a camera I
still am not comfortable but you know
you got to get started someplace
somewhere
so that's what I'm doing and I am hoping
to see more people in my
age um to show up on my feed as a with
their channel so you know I could get uh
more
encouraged
and yeah try I'm just trying to stay
motivated and do my best
so
yeah I hope to see you
