Outlines
🚗 Autonomous Vehicles: Technology and Challenges
The speaker introduces the topic of autonomous vehicles, explaining that they are self-driving cars without a driver. They reference movies and the Iron Man series to illustrate the concept, highlighting the use of cameras, sensors, and machine learning in these vehicles. The speaker also discusses the implementation of GPS and mapping technology for navigation. They mention a specific incident where a car, relying on GPS, ended up in a river due to outdated map data. The potential future of autonomous vehicles is explored, including the possibility of AI communicators replacing human drivers and the challenges of integrating such technology into existing traffic systems, especially in places like India with complex traffic scenarios.
🛣️ The Future of Autonomous Cars and Their Impact
In this paragraph, the speaker discusses the potential impact of autonomous vehicles on society, including the possibility of reduced accidents compared to human-driven cars. They also touch upon the risks associated with electronic control, such as hacking, which is less of a concern with manual cars. The speaker uses the example of the movie 'Faster 88' to illustrate how hackers could potentially control cars via satellite. They conclude by expressing optimism about the future prevalence of autonomous vehicles, predicting that they will make up a significant portion of cars on the road, despite the current challenges and disadvantages.

[Music]
my name is V uh sorry I just need to
adjust my mic sounding so yeah let me
start okay my name is V actually uh
today for my week six te Tech seminar
topic I take the topic called automous
vehicle actually you heard it before
right so what is automous vehicle
yeah this only simple meaning a
self-driving vehicle without a driver so
have you ever watched a movies like that
the car driving itself and go around the
cities or Villages yeah but I have seen
because I a movie in the so I watch so
many lot of mainly English movies
compared to Malana movies so I'm a big b
fan also so there I see this fous
Technologies like Iron Man abute made of
full of iron also when I see this Iron
Man and Robert Don Jr's car is always
self driving from parking to where he
stands so that's a great thing also
there are some other movies we can see
in the the movie shows that near future
in the after 100 years we can see mostly
of the cars automous car also okay let
us come to the point actually the whole
concept is that
uh uh I will take the the C situation or
Cent technology we use in these cars
also so when we take uh for example in
Tesla they uses different kind of
cameras not different kinds so many
cameras in the car along with that there
are so many sensors to analyze the uh
surrounding area so not sorry this
camera is to surrounding areas to nearby
find nearby obstacles also at the same
time this uh we they have implemented
machine learning into this car itself to
gather or take action as a real person
so real decision making also uh yeah uh
leader and rer technology so they uses
that for the distance between car and
other obstacles to analyze them also
they uses mapping technology or GPS
technology to uh surround the way the
the car goes so they said is
disadvantages actually what why I
mentioned that so consider we had heard
the news of in our K itself the car fell
into River with the family so the family
survived but the how the car is gone is
because of this mainly GPS technology
mainly our Google Map because on the map
it shows there's a road but due to the
rainy season somehow the there is it's
not Road it's a river so go so consider
because of raining they didn't see the
path so the car fell into the river so
like that AI uses the same mapping
technology or Google Maps to
analyze where they go they can be go to
the same situations so that that's the
what I meant also it's a for the future
it is too good if they try to IM to how
to control these all things also yeah
then uh telling about uh is so
impacts Ina some people will try to be
ride with the driver also but some
people will uh change to this one also
why driver because there will be a
communication rather than we are in this
uh technology or modern technology there
will be a communicator like AI like Siri
in the car itself but we don't know
somehow uh maybe we can really Express
with if there's a real person
right so my point is I will give an
example if there is a mobster mobster or
gangster attacks you while you're
driving in your car or self- driving car
not in your car self- driving car or by
driver so if it's only self-driving car
you are only inside the car how will you
protect so while driving with the driver
you you will be protected by the driver
but it depends on the driver's mind also
so it's a uh small one also this autom
car is too good
consider uh it will create a we need to
have well controlled traffic system
compar to the in USA and India it is
difficult to implement in India itself
because our traffic system is very poor
actually I don't know how will the car
autom car will understand our traffic
technology even though
traffic light is red our bikers or they
are riding the car or bike they don't
look for our uh traffic they sometimes
they follow the rules so actually the
cars itself they follow the rules right
so they did not suddenly stops because
when they comes in front of them so it's
a desc for our India itself so compar
yeah it will take more years to have
Technologies like that to implement to
reduce the traffic system or accidents
over here so compara when we uh compare
the human ridable cars or also this s
driving car uh it will be in the future
it will be less accidents compared to
both yeah other thing is like in the
movies uh I think I watched the movie
called faster fous 88 in there
somehow hackers control the cars from
the using a satellite
because these cars are electronic also
so it can be controlled also so it's a I
don't know it's a because of the
automatic technology in that car it can
be hacked also so if a manual car it
cannot be controll like that it's a main
advantage of manual car and this
sometimes hackers can be hacked into
your automous car also so compared
there's a advantages also at the same
time there's a disant on this automatic
cars so it compar to you but in the
future I think it will be more over 90%
or 70% there'll be only this automous
car yeah these are the points I need to
mention uh now uh these are the points I
get now I think it's better anyway thank
you have a nice day
