WWE's Backstage reaction to Jacob faru
has been revealed plus a top
International Talent could be about to
make their aew debut and we have an
update on Brian danielson's aew
retirement it's all in the cultaholic
wrestling news right now Jacob Fu the
Samoan werewolf has been a force of gosh
darn nature when it comes to SmackDown
the bloodline and WWE in general been a
big fan of his work and WWE are as well
aren't they yeah so this comes from PW
Insider who say WWE is thrilled with
Jacob Fu's recent work on WWE
programming One Source has said that he
brings a true element of danger to the
show and I think that is almost an
understatement I feel like because when
he comes out his mannerisms the ferocity
of which he executes his moves his
facial expressions like every single
thing that he does is just so on point
and I think in that tag match sad that
DIY lost the Tag Team titles absolutely
but I think at the end of that match
where he just like powers out of like a
reverse poison R and just like does all
these moves in quick succession and I
feel like that's not something that we
see super often within WWE and therefore
I feel it it I feel like it makes it a
little bit sort of special when it does
happen cuz you're like not a lot of
people do that quite frequently and it
makes them feel like a big deal because
he wrestles in such a different way to
other people and I I genuinely feel cuz
there's there been lots of talk about
sort of the why it's taken this long to
get Jacob faru as part of the story but
he's here now and he he's in the best
shape of his career and he's doing some
of the best work uh I've seen him do
certainly and there's a part of me that
thinks that oh if he had come along
maybe a year sooner I think he'd have I
think he'd have passed solo sakoa yeah I
really do I think kind of I personally
think he already has but in terms of
that position like I feel like had you
had you brought in Jacob faru to be the
the The Bodyguard for Roman yeah oh that
would have been something else what a
time we would have had and I'm not being
super cruel to solo sakar I know we had
a little bit of a little bit of a joke
about him earlier in the week and solo
and solo does has a really strong role
to play as The Bodyguard I thought he
was excellent I feel like as the leader
of the bloodline I don't think I I think
and I don't want to get any grief
everyone's it's only my opinion and it's
whatever I don't think he's strong
enough at the moment he's got better in
it he's grown into it I personally don't
think he's as good as he could be I mean
again we've spoken about it so many
times it's it's difficult shoes to fill
isn't it and I feel really difficult I
feel like his role maybe was was more to
be there to um elicit the reaction from
fans to want Roman even more and push
this big baby first turn and I think
he's done a tremendous job in that role
now now that Roman Reigns has come back
we could definitely see some things play
out on TV that puts him into this more
sort of dangerous position maybe more
manipulative like Roman Reigns was back
in the day with the bloodline stuff as
well maybe we finally see him since
Roman has come back maybe we finally see
him sort of go that traa trajectory a
little bit more that's yeah okay I I
willing to I'm always I'd rather be
happy than right I always say that I'd
love for solo to prove us Pro wrong in
the weeks to come but backstage people
very very happy with Jacob Fu and the
business he's doing and they should be
an update on TNA for you Bound for Glory
is on the way a location has been
decided for TNA's Premier show of the
Year fightful select reporting the
Detroit is planned as the location for
Bound for Glory it'll Mark I think the
the I'm trying to think if they've been
yes it's the first it was 06 they came
and did Bound for Glory before yeah I
remember reading that and apparently
what one was that that was the I think
the main event was a title versus career
match between
sting was it Jeff Jarrett it might have
been my boy Jeff Jarrett best friend
Jeff
jar it could have been sting and Jarrett
I mean if you say sting and Jarrett is
the main event of a TNA P you there's a
strong chance that you're going to get
that right probably you're near you're
near the having you there there were a
lot of rumors about where this could end
up I'd certainly heard rumors about it
being in the UK I'd heard rumors about
it going to New York City uh but
Detroit's a really strong place to hold
it they've got a good stronghold in
Detroit of TNA great fans as well really
great fans wrestling fans in general
Detroit are really cool uh regarding the
future of the company with the UK
fightful select also add that 2025 could
see TNA travel back to the UK and it'd
be lovely to see them back I think that
see them going doing more International
dates I think it's exciting for them but
I'm aware that they're they're kind of
in this position where they they're not
trying to grow too beyond the means so
obviously they' had the name change and
they're trying to just keep a steady
thing going uh so I think that's
probably why they're reluctant to do
anything really outside of Canada or
America I think that's sensible as well
the time being for sure so if you live
in Detroit tickets are bound for Glory
uh I would expect there's an
announcement coming inevitably
officially uh meanwhile closer to us aew
Allin is on the horizon from Wembley
Stadium and it looks like a top star
from the UK could be making their debut
for aw in and around there yes so
yesterday rev Pro Champion Michael oku
shared a video compilation of interviews
where the discussion has been around him
appearing at aew all in
2024 sparking speculation that that
could be a possibility uh fightful
selects Corey Brennan has an update
saying oku and Amira are suspected for
the Cardiff Dynamite taping on August
21st uh and aew all in at Wembley
Stadium on August 24th and there is a
possibility of o oku wrestling one or
both shows uh as of today we've not
heard of any deal being offered to oku
or Amir you can't go wrong with Michael
oku and Amir on your card they are
fantastic I mean I'm excited if that is
the case we were speaking in the
previous news video about the casino
Gauntlet match coming back we were do
you reckon that would be a place for him
to pop up in I could see Michael oku
having a lovely time in the Cass know
gaunlet match at Wembley Stadium I could
see him getting a feature position at
the dynamite show in Cardiff as well
because there's nothing been announced
for that show no for Dynamite which
eminates from Wales a few days before
all in I could see him doing something
there but he's going to be in the mix
with an aew top talent this weekend he's
challenging for mjf's aew American
championship at rev Pro summer Sizzler
that's possibly the biggest match of
oku's career and it's going to be a bang
it's going to be a banger he never he
never doesn't put on bangers so like him
and mjf are going to be on another level
I'll never get bored of seeing Michael
oku put in these feature matches CU not
only is he just a genuinely wonderful
bloke but he's a fantastic wrestler agre
absolutely the more eyes the better for
our boy oku and as one aew career winds
up hopefully another is winding down
completely speaking to Guerilla position
Brian Danielson talked more about his
retirement we've heard that he's going
to be stepping away very very soon uh
and the plan was initially going to be
that we'd see Brian Danielson in a very
part-time role where he come out for
special occasions and stuff but he's
he's changing his mind on that he told
gorilla position I'm really walking back
this idea of wrestling forever I just
don't think I can do it doctors have
said okay we'll clear you to wrestle
this kind of wrestling match and I can't
stop myself from doing this kind of
wrestling I thought I'd be comfortable
doing stuff like that but it turns out
it's just not what I want and the stuff
I think I want to do I found so things
that now fulfill me there's the family
aspect of it but even with the realm of
wrestling helping younger Talent helping
with creative I really enjoy that so
basically he's saying there the doctors
have said look you can wrestle this
style but Daniel Brian Daniel is like
he's like I wrestle they want me to
wrestle here I wrestle like here yeah
that's it which is and I mean more power
to him for sort of recognizing that as
well because we've seen wrestlers in the
past who are like time to retire and
then they're like w maybe a 100 more
matches please so yeah fair enough for
for for sort of knowing his uh
limitations in you got to know when you
can't trust yourself that's why we don't
keep biscuits at home it's true cuz
they'll just I'll analogy it it'll it's
thank you it'll shock you with a with a
with a Greek physique with a Greek god
physique like this one but but um
chocolate digestiv don't last long in my
house so we don't keep him in the house
for that reason and I think Brian
Daniels saying I'm not going to I can't
I be too tempted to wrestle Full Tilt
and do something so I'm probably just
going to have to not wrestle at all he's
absolutely going to go full til to all
in without a shadow of a doubt and
that's just on the horizon very very
soon uh and we'll talk more about that
as we get closer to it but for the very
latest wrestling news throughout the day
you can check out C tool.com Cas case
love you bye
