To 10 years
Almost 30 years
Oh, my God.
Then we just had an idea
Just come to Malaysia to have a look.
Take a look.
Because of that, for some Australian reasons
And that leads us to want to know more about countries.
Take a look uh
Because I saw Lao Luo's video half a year ago.
Then Lao Luo is mainly in this Malaysia uh
Kuala Lumpur
Then he runs his own hot pot restaurant
And then, and then I saw, uh
It is equivalent to a Chinese elite businessperson
And then, through his videos?
I learned about this Malaysian culture again
He Financial Poe Culture
Yes, so I said I must visit Lao Luo
Ouch, dare not be, dare not be
Let's talk about this first
Wait a minute you guys talk about this
Some feelings about Malaysia
Let's talk about who you are first
Then why go to Australia?
What happened in Australia?
Because something you told me before
I was shocked to see it
Go ahead.
I'll listen first
If you are interested
Can make a series
Hahaha that this
It may take a long time.
If the fruit unfolds
That long story short
你可以go to the court
but you will never win
everyone can report
report
OK you have to pay
或者说go to the court
但是go to court你需要找律师
我们只是doing our job
so trade自己做
it's none of my business
don't do the business here go away
very very small business交2万块钱
I we first
Before it all started
I need to say first
All the following opinions and interviews
Well, it's just our personal opinion.
It has nothing to do with Lao Luo
And then uh
We also represent personal opinions only
then
If there is any offense to any of Australia
Or a friend in Malaysia.
Then please Haihan
We mean no harm.
Representing personal opinions
Well, to cut a long story short.
Uh the two of us
I'll start with my own
I was born in Beijing
Well, I'm in my 30s.
Ah.
I moved to Sydney, Australia in 2006 for undergraduate studies.
And then graduate in Australia uh
After graduating from college
I have done a lot of work
Then from uh
This truck driver
Then, uh, it has nothing to do with the major at all
Ah.
To, uh, related to my undergraduate computer engineering
I work at a university.
Then to the uh institute
Uh, the computer supercomputer
Uh, the township test
Administrator Technical Support
And then what happened?
We uh
Coincidentally, I got in touch again.
I used to, uh, cut off contact a dozen years ago
A friend who I started contacting later
Yeah, this is probably me.
Then we decided to come to Malaysia
Ah.
What about my situation?
Similar, I am also a Beijinger.
Uh this
After graduating from undergraduate school, I read here
Graduate students coming to Australia
The purpose of graduate students is actually very simple
Just want to get one
A permanent resident of Australia?
That's why I came here
And at the beginning?
Going to Australia is a very good option
Compared to the United States?
He might, uh, immigration notice?
And what about his time?
What about the cost?
It's shorter.
So
This was 12 years ago.
Why did you come to Australia?
And then, you know, things went pretty well.
Of course, the process is still quite arduous
Ah!
And finally, this after two years of graduate school.
Uh, even this
Completed this first small goal
And what happens next?
Right there.
Quickly found a job
Because it is also a professional job.
It's software development.
Jobs in computer engineering
Uh, after working for a while
Uh start this again
Do something equivalent to starting a business
But it's also my job
This professional
Uh, it's this company
Then I want to do it in Australia
But it's not special
Uh, make it
Ah, it's just a little bit of a small fight
Uh, this made a little money
Uh, yeah.
There is a little bit of this accumulation.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Uh-huh.
Later, during the epidemic
This is for some reason
Back home again
Then because of the seal control?
Ah!
I'm just doing these businesses related to Australia remotely.
Ah!
Well, actually the reason for going to Australia in the first place
I just said
It's simple to want
I actually want to live there
Well, it's also because of the education I received since I was a child
Do you think Western countries?
Is very developed
China is a developing country
Then people go to high places
The water is flowing down.
So it's also very simple
And I learned more English since I was a child.
So definitely the first choice is English-speaking countries
And in the English-speaking world, of course?
Why did you choose
Australia
I didn't choose the UK or Canada.
Or America?
Of course, there are some objective reasons.
But in the end fate dictates
Ah!
Went there
Uh, when I first started going
Feel very good
Basically, it is still very consistent with expectations.
Is the environment good?
This blue sky and white clouds
Healthy food.
And the people are nicer.
Then the laws and regulations are very sound
Here are some advantages over China.
So we were going abroad for the first time.
It feels pretty good to go there. Hmm.
But time to see
It's been ten years
In the process
Is there a feeling?
That is.
Well, it feels like life is getting more and more
It's not what I thought at first
Well, it's beautiful.
This development has not been felt, uh
Say OK at first.
Maybe you're under a lot of pressure over there.
Because he is very expensive
In that place
What about us?
Maybe more. What?
You may have no identity.
It's nice to have an identity
What about us?
Just work hard to uh
Get this identity?
Just say hey and become the so-called local resident
Then become the LOGO homepage after refrigeration
Just found out
It's not as simple as you think
Uh salary
Although it is the expected salary at the beginning
Probably
Tens of thousands of Australian dollars
About sixty or seventy thousand
One of seventy or eighty thousand
7713
Hey, that's right, that's right.
13 years
Hey, at that time, the exchange rate was calculated at the beginning
At that time, the exchange rate was 1:7.
If converted into RMB
The annual salary is also 400,000 to 500,000
feel hey
University graduates have 400,000 and 500,000 RMB.
I feel very fragrant
Because if you were in China at that time
The general population is only 12.3 million
That's pretty high.
But what about the life I found
It's not what I thought at first
And over time?
You will learn more
There are some unseen aspects of this country.
Ah.
So let's start with the financial pressure
Just a sudden increase
What about other things?
What I feel more is our industry
Because we did it
Both of us
Then this belongs to the high-tech industry
Especially like us
It's all pure software development.
And algorithms.
So what do I feel in this country?
Income and industry ceilings are very low.
This is also after I go to work.
In the first two years, because I started contacting people in the industry
That's what I learned.
And at the same time
I found out that my former classmates
Including this one around you.
Because I also studied computers as an undergraduate
Then I found their development in the country
And their vision
You're starting to get ahead of me.
And I was skeptical at first.
Is it because I don't work hard personally?
Professional knowledge is not good
But as I soon learned, that wasn't the problem.
But the whole country seems to be interested in the technology industry
Including this piece of knowledge
It doesn't seem to be a good enough respect
Take it seriously.
He even put our position
Positioned to more than a plumber repairing a waterway
An installer who installs air conditioners
An electrician is lower.
Because they are my age
Their salary
Probably 30-400,000 a year
And what about us at this time?
Our cap is probably around 200,000
This is a website that can be used to find a job.
It can be found.
It's an engineer, right?
So uh that's just one of the reasons
An aspect called financial
Some of the considerations
And our industry
A problem with the professional ceiling of this development
I think the first point is
Let's just say
Ah, that's your first point is to get along
Yeah, that's true.
Hey come on
The camera will be transferred to you.
Let's talk together
You two say it together
He said
He is more logical
more
This is the first time this is on camera.
Still a little nervous
Hahahaha
Right, right, right.
You, you keep coming, I'll give it to you.
Come on, I say a turn.
You can go on and on about that.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Also around this topic
Because he was there at the time
He had a while
I work in one of the research departments of the university.
And then some serendipity
I-I met him.
And?
I had just graduated at that time.
Looking for a job
That's when he said he was leaving
Well, I asked him where he was going.
Then he said he was going home.
And then he referred me to the job
Then I go for an interview
And then when I got the job
I'm weird
I mean, the job's pretty good.
Yeah, kind of.
White collar
Right? Right.
And I-I was thinking
I said is your adaptability not good enough?
To the blue sky and white clouds
Then at the Sydney Opera House
Drink a cup of coffee with Erlang's legs crossed
It feels like life has reached its peak
Right?
It feels beautiful to me.
Yeah, and then I didn't complain.
No one complained.
Why did you leave in obscurity?
Yeah, and then I wanted to say, ah.
I asked you, but you didn't say anything.
You didn't explain it to me.
Well, after many years
So last year.
The year before last was many years later
When we were chatting
I told him some things.
Oops, I feel like there's something wrong with this country
And then he gave it to me.
I asked him why you left
And he said, "I'm too embarrassed to talk to you.
I think I told you
I was so embarrassed to leave.
Because I don't think I'm doing well
So I left.
You're all doing well
Then I slowly discovered
I'm not the only one around
There are such thoughts and pressures
It's about society.
Australia is a very powerful society
It is his ability to make everyone aware of themselves
Questions arising
Because your ability is good or bad
To your life
Feel
Feels a little weird
Yes, but you will feel
It's impossible for everyone
No complaints.
It must be my ability
I didn't fit in.
I didn't climb up.
Yeah, I didn't try hard enough.
It has nothing to do with this society
Right
Later, the two of us found out when we talked
There does seem to be a problem.
then
You know, we could use a couple of examples.
It's just something that nobody knows about.
Something about Australia?
Ah.
You can start with your apartment block.
This is a very subversive thing
This is actually like this.
Well, actually, we were talking about wages.
Including professional stuff
So this thing, it really has a low ceiling.
Make us feel
Especially our knowledge.
Our education?
Including this high-tech industry that we are in everywhere
In the hearts of our Chinese
It will take the entire Asian system into account.
It's all pretty high-level.
It feels like your level over there is not even one
Just very ordinary blue-collar workers.
Well, other than that?
You will also find him in your daily life
I'm still causing you some little trouble.
Spend some of your daily routine
A lot of it has caused some damage to your spirit.
For example, like us
Uh, this house
Like you see
Come to Kuala Lumpur
I see more here.
There's a lot more than that. Some fancy apartments.
It's called condominum here.
And our place is actually called Pamen.
And?
I was lucky enough to live in a house like this over there too
probably
Probably a few kilometers from the Sydney Opera House
That's close.
Uh, when you bought this property?
Also spent a lot of money
Because at that time the exchange rate was 1:7 (Australian dollars: soft girl)
Also this early year
Because I got my identity.
Then also very confident
Hope to open here
We mean in our 20s
Young people are ambitious.
Start a new life
Loan, of course.
Loans, of course.
Hey, hey.
Well, if it was Australian dollars at the time
It's about a million dollars smaller.
Now at this exchange rate
It should be Ringgit 5 million
Something like that.
It was a match
I don't know the exchange rate of ringgit.
You can borrow 80%.
Right
20% down payment?
The area is about the same as here.
120 square meters
Ah square meter
At the peak of my life in my 20s, right?
It seems that life is really at its peak
And at that time
Me and my friends
We're still standing in this room together
Say it on the balcony
This is our future.
Right? Our future is a sea of stars
It is. It is.
It's aspirational.
Is it because ours is young?
Ten years ago
Yes, I think of TV dramas
Beijing Youth
So we are ambitious
Do your own major here?
Where is this going?
Go to the final startup
Where are you going to start our enterprise?
What happened?
But you will find
When you have been doing it for half a day
Finally you will find
What does this country give back to you?
The first is rising utility costs
His property
Fay is weird
He is not like China.
I can't, I don't know yet.
Because we just got here.
We are in China
Our utility fee will not change for 10 years.
Or change this a little bit.
It definitely is.
No more than a factor of one inflation.
But what about over there?
I feel
Utilities are like a sword hanging over your head
When you buy a new luxury apartment like this
Ah!
It's not luxurious, is it?
Just a normal apartment
What about the increase in his utility bills?
Even more than your profits from speculating in stocks
That is, you may be growing at a rate of 20% to 30% per year
Then when we come down ten years
For example, this year
My utility fee was 1,100 per month at that time.
AUD 1,100 every three months
It has risen to nearly 3,000 Australian dollars now
Then the entire property purchase time is about the same
Only 10 years
The $3,000 is for utilities
Attention, it's just a utility fee.
10,000 more
Ah, every three months.
That's the cost of ownership.
Multiply by 4 in three months and one year
Ah, you are in Malaysia.
Yes, really, next to the Twin Towers, choose whatever apartment you want.
So at this point we thought it was strange
Why is this country the way it is?
Then the utility fee is like this.
You rent it out later, after you leave.
It happened again.
And?
Yes, we also try to say
Oh, maybe we didn't try hard enough.
Let's say you buy a house.
You live there.
Is it too extravagant for you to live in?
So we tried to put our own, uh
Three bedrooms and one living room?
Three bedrooms a three bedroom a them
We tried to rent him.
We try to, uh
Even sub-let him
Yeah, I got one.
I'll take my apartment to another one.
Rent to local international students
Ah, so
Then try it
Try to reduce your stress
So even though your life will become more difficult
It's rather cramped.
Because someone shares a room with you
But I think
Maybe this way I might feel more integrated into the local area
I'm more like a local
My life is too extravagant
What about this time?
You will find another problem
You want to rent out your house
Because of your house, his room is big.
But his rental
Ah.
Low return ratio
In order to increase this return ratio
We did what the Chinese love to do
Just make a repair to your house
We added another room.
Because it is. It's a partition.
Right
It's big, but it's irregular.
So let's make it a regular question.
And what about the separated room?
You can have more usage
Yes, in that case
I can try my best to reduce our uh
economic pressure
So I feel like this again
We try harder.
And what happens next?
I just received a letter from this local, uh
City Council
We call it city console locally
This one?
The so-called uh is not called an alarm letter
Just a warning
Not a warning
It's something like, uh
A feeling of punishment
It means that
You have violated the laws of our country
So what's next?
I'm going to your house.
I'm going to force my way into your house to check it out.
First of all, I find this very strange.
First, this is my asset.
This is me before we went to Western countries
I mean, in the West, everything is private.
Private property is sacred and inviolable
This is the education we received when we were young in China
China has no private wealth
Production concept, what about this time?
I just thought it was weird.
Why does he have the right?
A CT guard for such a unit?
Just like our chengguan
Why does he have the right to enter your room?
Go check your room
What about this time?
I didn't think too much about it either.
I don't think I can help it.
I can only we, right?
This immigrant
I don't have much ability to fight him
I had to let him into my room.
What about when he entered my room?
It was one in my mind at the time.
What a strong man.
A male
The man's local body shape is more than mine
Put the microphone one meter
Okay, check it out too
Ok. Mmm.
I continue
Ah!
Uh, very strong.
I don't think I'm his match either.
That feeling
I can only ask him honestly
I said what law did I break?
And he said to me very aggressively.
Say you this thing
Your uh building
When you report
Your building is just a three-bedroom
But now you make it four bedrooms.
So this is a very serious offense.
What you are breaking is the safety of our community
Well it uses a concept called community safety OK
And I said, okay, I'm in my house, right?
They made my room
Just made it a block
Then I affect the safety of the entire community
Although I don't know how this logic comes about
But it's just a logic.
OK
I thought OK was just such a thing.
He said no, you have more offenses
That you broke more laws
Why was he in our house from start to finish?
Looking around for a week
He said that the number of beds in your house exceeds the standard.
I said this is my room.
This is my private properly
I bought it properly
But he has the right to manage
Leave you in the room
How many beds are there for sleeping?
I said why did I
He said you only have 3 bedrooms in this room.
So you can only allow three beds in this room.
But because I don't have four rooms?
I just put 4 beds
So the number of beds you have has increased
The number of beds is illegal
It's a serious offense.
And I was very angry.
I say why
You can limit how much furniture I put in the house
This thing
Isn't this a fundamental freedom?
He said you don't have to tell me
You can go to court.
You can go to the court
OK, we're just an immigrant.
We are all over the country
He had been there for less than five years.
I can't talk to a local CT guard
Such urban management
So that the unit can engage in any confrontation
I can only obediently follow his request
Tear down the room
Then throw away the bed
Remove the furniture
Because I don't just have a bed in my room
And my furniture.
Throw it all away
Wait for him to check again next time.
It's a very small example.
So this is just a small example.
It's the kind of stuff you fill your life with.
Ah!
It's called Skyfall, right?
This this
Surprise from the sky
Surprise from heaven, for example
The curtains of our house
It has to be a specific color.
We can't use the colors we want.
Yes uh
Use other colors.
Except for gray and white, it is illegal.
We uh
Because this doesn't comply with community regulations
This is illegal.
If you don't obey
Let's go to court
Then, I can't hang clothes on my balcony.
Because it's illegal to dry clothes.
Well, because you dry the clothes, it affects the community's
Overall pair
That feeling is right
This is a very small example.
All over this country
Why do you think I talked about my utility fee first?
Because you will find
When you break all these laws
It is often carried out by the property
They come to check you out.
They come to you for a related one.
If you break the law
Make a related report
A mechanism for punishment or reporting
And we happen to be growing at 20% a year
And pay him this rising utility fee
And the feeling that this property fee gives us is
Except for giving us tickets?
Limit all our freedom of residence
It doesn't do anything else.
You paid for a father
I paid for one.
The group of people who gave me tickets
And these people in their daily lives
For example, when you enter and exit your building
You will never see
They don't have security.
No security
No one sitting at the door
It's not like this.
Everywhere you go, there will be someone saluting you.
Welcome home owners
Right there.
The owner is welcome to pay us the ticket again.
Right.
It's just a tiny microcosm.
It's a tiny microcosm.
This says you
Because your daily life is two o'clock and one line
You spend half your time commuting to and from your home
You go home every day.
Even over time
There is a feeling in our hearts
Ah.
Natural or
No, no.
Uh, the unconscious feeling of depression
Every time I go home
I'm worried if I'll get another ticket.
Because of this ticket
It is often sent to the mailbox at your house.
And every time you open the mailbox
I was shaking inside.
Because I don't know.
Which unit will you receive another ticket from?
Because you don't
I know what you did wrong again.
Well, I talked to a lot of people about it later.
Many friends in Australia have said it
And I understand that.
Just say you see
That's what the law says.
Your failure to respect the law is your problem
Then I slowly started to be right with myself
OK, the law is fine.
Because I didn't respect the law
It's my problem.
This society is a very strict society
Yeah, I didn't follow the rules.
OK, I don't blame anyone.
Here comes the ticket
It was my fault.
It's no one else's fault.
However, for us as Chinese
In fact, we live in a more humane society
Yes uh
It's human nature.
More than the deadliness of black and white
Right
For example, I'll tell you one more
That is, you may say in the comments below
You see these two people didn't follow the rules.
Get punished
Yes, you see, we all
Many of your friends below
Have you ever been punished?
I feel the same way
Yeah, yeah.
In fact, I will tell you one
Let me give you an example from myself.
Of course.
Let me first admit that it was my fault.
A dozen years ago
Once upon a time, before I quit smoking
When I smoked
Once I was driving a car
OK
What about when I'm driving?
Hey, finished smoking
I threw the cigarette butt out of the car
This is my fault
I apologize to everyone now.
This shouldn't be littering
Then I was reported by the person in the car behind me.
Australians are very happy to report people.
Because everyone has a sense of fairness in their hearts
Another psychology is that
I don't like being punished.
OK, you have to be punished too.
Yes, and then I was reported.
After a while
The EPA sent me a letter
He said someone reported the lesbian driver for throwing things
OK, I said how to prove me.
Throwing things he said because I learned to gweilo
A quibble, a line act.
Everyone probably will
How can I prove that I'm throwing something?
The witness at the back testifies that you threw something
So how does he prove that you threw something?
I said is there a camera?
Is there anything?
I might have thrown a spider out, right?
He said uh
He is the proof
He is the evidence
He said I said OK.
Everyone means anyone can report anyone
Because anything is OK.
I said I don't admit it, OK.
Blood ghost
I got a subpoena in the next few days
Put me in court
Then explain to the judge
And then I said, okay.
Does the plaintiff also have to appear in court?
Then the plaintiff is a ghost
Busy at work
He said I don't go to court and it's over.
And the E.P.A. didn't sue me.
Nothing.
This is just my admission that I did something wrong.
But this is a microcosm of a country.
The income and taxes of his country
It's all bits and pieces from everyone
Pull out everything
Right
Because you will find
When you involve any one about cos
When it comes to legal matters
You have to go to a lawyer
And when it comes to lawyers
You will find that he is a bottomless pit
Let me give you another example.
Just uh
I'm going to find a lawyer
Like what?
You uh
What usually happens to find a lawyer?
Same here.
You need a lawyer to buy a house
What about this time?
What about this deal?
It is possible that he can complete it.
It may not be completed.
Because a lot of times it comes to a certain stage
You will find
This fee is unreasonable
Or one party goes back
Right? What about the lawyer?
I have to
To terminate the transaction at some stage
But what about this time?
If you are in Australia
I don't know if other Western countries are similar.
Ah, then he will be like this
He would say
When you make your first phone call with this lawyer
Because you need a lawyer
You must do it by phone or email.
As long as you have any communication with him
Any communication
Then he will pay a very scary price.
Go and bill you
For example, 50 Australian dollars for an email.
100 Australian dollars for a phone call.
I will bill you for such a price.
So let's say you make a phone call and find a lawyer
The lawyer said to ask him
Let me ask about my house.
What procedures do I need to buy and sell?
He might explain something to you.
So when this is explained
Tell me, I'll ask two more questions about this.
Because normal people would understand
And talk for a while
Communicate with him
Just wrote a few vaccines
Or after two phone calls
When you decide to cancel the deal
Or when you don't feel the need to do it
He will write you a final settlement bill
And all the markings on this bill
It's all based on how many calls you made with him
How many emails did you send?
You didn't even meet him.
You are just a very remote
And the person who connected with you
Not necessarily the lawyer himself
Probably just one of his assistants
You have no idea who this person is.
But your bill will be credited to your home.
It will be marked with so-and-so law firm
Then all the bills
So basically this bill is only Australian dollars.
For Australian dollars, it is basically easy to pay thousands.
About 1,000-2,000
Then this says
When you have done nothing
Your bill will be called people sitting at home
Mountains come from the sky.
You didn't buy this house
You don't have a house to rent
You didn't get anything.
But what? You end up paying a lot of bills for no reason.
Just because you once had a thought
You want to do this?
So this country
You will feel that everyone is cold
When doing everything
What you consider is
Do I need to pay more?
Am I going to incur huge expenses?
Because he didn't say a few dollars.
A dozen dollars
Right, so the mention of lawyers
I just want to add to this person
So you will find
When you are in this country
You because of your fault
Because of your carelessness
Or just because you are an immigrant
You don't know him.
This super complex legal system
You once but you broke the law
Then what you pay is the price of this money.
And a very high amount of money
An accident
An accident
A careless
Yes, it may offend him.
He didn't give you a break
Or a warning like Glass Wei's or something like that.
Instead, there was a direct punishment
Hey, because his ticket has already been sent to your home.
You only have two options.
You pay the ticket.
You have to pay
Or go to the court
But going to court, you need a lawyer
You can win
You don't have a lawyer
How can you win one in court?
We think the relationship between being prosecuted
It is impossible to sue and testify.
But the judicial system in Western countries
Seems fair
Yes, actually he is. You don't have the money for a lawyer.
He's a tacit acknowledgment of your guilt.
Right
He's actually tacitly acknowledging your guilt.
Yes, you didn't hire a lawyer.
When that judge was looking at you
That state
Yes, standing next to you with a lawyer explaining to you
The state is completely different.
Is it completely different?
So you asked a lawyer to tick off the court
Why hire a lawyer?
Because before you left the court
You are already an alleged offender
Like the alleged offender in our country
Although he has no evidence yet
Just one person's
Just uh
Just a whistleblower
Just a report
This report may not contain any actual evidence
No video recording
No photo.
No recording
Nothing at all.
He just said OK.
I think that person is doing bad things at home
But at this moment
You have become an alleged offender
So you want to clear this criminal suspect
You must hire a lawyer
Actually I have a question
Where did you get your green card now?
Uh, Australia.
Yes, we got it back in 2010.
Yes, I got it, yes, yes.
We all got it quickly.
It belongs to the blood that was full of blood at that time
I'm working very hard on this.
So we got it quick.
Because it's actually quite difficult to get a green card
No matter when
They all have a strict assessment system.
Have a score
Have this to meet various requirements
Especially your English.
And your education
So you look at his immigration system
He recruits these people with relatively high quality.
At least he speaks English well.
At least those with higher education
In our Asian system
He is a high-quality person
But after the recruitment has passed
He doesn't respect you as a high-class person.
Instead, I treat you as one
Not as good as blue collar
Yes, it's not as good as those who graduated from technical secondary school
Read the type
The refugees!
And for those refugees
Yeah, and the local teenagers
Those who are ignorant
People who fight in the streets every day
Instead, they went to cos
Just a verbal warning
And we
These uh
Just do things seriously
Contribute to him
Make him money
Pay his taxes and buy a house
All of these are making new contributions to this country
He treated us like a saspect
It's the criminal suspect to deal with.
Once you violate any of them
Like just now, for example, the curtains were installed incorrectly
You put a wall in your house.
Or you dropped a cigarette butt on the way.
Dry the clothes
Ah, or hanging a dress on the balcony
Etc., etc.
Such as in
Or you're on the street with your, uh, partner
Or your grandfather?
Or he quarreled
It's all illegal
Have you ever heard of
Something like that.
But they are Australian natives
Or what white people do
How do they deal with it?
Well, I believe that.
This one.
Ah, yeah.
Something like this.
I can talk about it.
Because I am not because of Chinese
We Chinese are more secure
They rarely do anything.
Well, I had an experience
I was in college in 2008.
Once stayed up until 3am to buy a McDonald's
And I pulled up to McDonald's.
There are a lot of young people who come out after drinking
OK
Of course they can't drink in broad daylight either
Because you are underage
Yeah but I feel like they've been drinking
Then go inside and start provoking me
This I think uh
Chinese who come to Australia will encounter
Will encounter these
These kids are naughty
And then do something disgusting to me?
then
He broke my car mirror.
Broken
Just ran away
Ah, when he runs
He just takes it slow
At this time, there are police cars coming to buy McDonald's OK.
I called the police down.
And the cop smiled back.
Say what's the matter
I said look at the car in front of you
He wants to run
He snapped my mirror off
Then the police said it's alright
We will assist
I thought the next second was to run over and stop him
Or drive a police car with the lights on and chase him
The police went to McDonald's and bought a hamburger.
After eating, a young man
I said how to deal with this?
He said it's okay.
Let's investigate
Then it's gone
And then two weeks later, I called.
I said who will fix my mirror for me?
That kid has a license plate number
Did you deal with it?
He said the police officer was on vacation
I said when is your vacation?
Come back in a month
And I said, okay.
Later, I slowly realized
None of these things matter.
As long as it's not about the dead
It's not about going to the media.
Yeah, none of those things are a problem.
The police once made it clear to me
He said don't make it difficult for us.
We're just doing our job
We're just doing our own thing.
We are also for work
Right.
Just don't do that. It's just too competitive.
Yeah, in situations like this.
I say this.
Seems to know me
It's a democratic white Western country
It seems that the concept is not the same
Is it because of my skin color?
I seem to be slowly discovering.
Shouldn't be the problem
That's not the problem.
It turns out that they basically do this to everyone
It's all this attitude
Actually I don't think it's a matter of discrimination
And I think that's a commonality at work.
Then I feel the heaviest below
Let's definitely come to Malaysia
One reason for that?
It's Australian taxation.
I also found one today.
Uh
Found one
A senior accountant.
A local
A professional accountant.
Right.
And we were shocked.
It looks like a professor
Professor-level accountant
I've never seen it before.
Kuala Lumpur I have a small accountant building
Recommended by a friend
Let me see.
Professor
Chen what what so-and-so
Ah Dato
Chen Moumou said
Dato again
Professor again
What level of accounting is this?
In a small office building
Back to the topic of taxation in Australia
I don't know.
Lao Luo should be you, you should know very well.
Right?
Australia's online personal tax cap is 45%.
We charge 45% tax.
This is when I was earning 180,000 Australian dollars
Yes, that one.
And there's a 55% on it.
It should be more than 300,000.
A plumber
They do this kind of thing by themselves
They can easily earn 200,000
Is there no problem?
There's nothing wrong with that.
And it belongs to the state of drinking coffee all the time
Ah!
How much does a college professor earn?
It's the same price as a plumber.
Ah.
If so
you
This is called import e.
It's a plumber who works for someone else
If only this plumber did a better job
He started to do it himself
So trade yourself
In business
He has his own way of receiving this contract
When receiving the job
Then his income will far exceed that figure
I know someone who does renovations
He doesn't do that kind of complicated decoration
It's not a mall like this.
He only works indoors.
This is the kind of dwelling
A simple decoration
Well, maybe it's just to install curtains for you.
Uh, paint the walls a little
Uh, walk down the shop
He does this kind of comprehensive language
Then he will make a profit from selling it in about 3 years.
The first Bentley
Whoops, I'll go
Then a university professor
He's smart.
Because he did SOS blowing
You can still receive orders.
A university professor.
An engineer.
A senior engineer.
Then a designer
They just make less money than blue collar workers.
Blue collar drivers usually drive Bentleys
That is.
A blue-collar foreman can drive a Bentley
seen
Because he is
He knows me well
because
He's the guy who helped me build that house.
The person who cut off
He was still in school at the time
He studied accounting.
He is dedicated to this industry
After he graduated
It started to unfold quickly
The process of his life taking off
I'm also trying to take off
But I can't fly up
The ceiling is so high
Because of engaging
It's the top of your white-collar collar that looks like this.
Right
I have another friend
In a very good friend
Yes, he works in a bank.
Bank job
He worked in a bank for several years
Well, he just made 100,000 Australian dollars this year
OK
What is the level of 100,000 Australian dollar?
What is the level for blue-collar workers?
Well, blue-collar words are the level of academic work
We call him the apprentice
The level of an apprentice
Just started. Just started.
Ah then
But working in a bank
He is 10 years old
And at a manager level
A level of manager
And it's a big bank
Like our maybach here?
I am
Ah!
Right
And it's not the front desk kind
It's an office
Just do
Uh, risk control?
Are these jobs similar to this?
More critical positions
And then we thought, oh.
Should be should be
We still doubt our own abilities
CONGRATULATIONS OK
Well, personal taxes are very, very heavy.
Let's start a company.
Yes, I do.
They started a company
In Sydney?
The company's fixed tax is 30%.
And then I said
OK.
So are we going out to work?
Then treat the client to dinner
We can reimburse you.
Right? It's tax deductible?
Then the Australian tax office said
You have to explain
You have to explain
Is this McDonald's meal eaten with customers?
McDonald's for 20 Australian dollars eats with customers.
How do you prove that this is eaten with customers?
You have to prove to me
Exactly.
So why prove this?
because
He targets the income of your companies every year
Do an audit
It's audit work.
What about this audit?
He certainly doesn't do it for everyone.
Because his labor is too busy.
But he will choose the more important case
Important companies do it
So what if
So what does it mean to be important?
This is quite interesting
That is, if you
When you are doing taxes in a certain year
You are filing taxes
Because taxes are filed by yourself
He doesn't care about you.
But the taxes you reported
He has a very advanced set of
And an increasingly advanced set of, er, data.
Some algorithms for big data matching AI
To seize the account he suspects may be problematic
Then once you get caught
Then he will send someone to order you
Once ordered
Even if it's a problem like a meal
You will enter a blacklist
This blacklist will lead to every financial connection you make in the future
Even the account of the leaves must be ordered
Keep ordering until you die
Ah!
You have to prove that the money is yours.
Yes, you have to prove every amount of money.
So the essence of Audi is
Are you going to pour your whole water?
Like every stroke of our book keeping
Have to go through it
I just want to add two
Is what I know
From Malaysia
There are also high and low in Malaysia.
Yes uh
It's almost the same process.
Because they are all Commonwealth countries
His process is almost right
The second is to dry clothes on the balcony
There are some buildings on the balcony in Malaysia that are not allowed to dry clothes.
Many rules may be similar
But but
What about this side?
Yes, it is.
He told you something
Let's say you broke the law.
What did you do?
For example, are there some laws?
There are some things that can be taught
You can admit your mistake.
Can warn
Give you a chance to correct it.
So what's next?
If you do it again
I'm definitely going to punish you.
Like picking up a child
So but there are some things
It's illegal.
Is breaking the law
The subpoena is coming
For now
I haven't.
Hearing something like this happening around you
Have you ever been prosecuted for throwing cigarette butts?
Uh, the cigarette butt was pasted
Paste your photo on the property.
Hahaha, this is still an education.
He won't say
Let you really bear the consequences of the law
Like going to jail, huh?
Or give you a criminal record
Give you a chance
Give him a chance
If the other person is really serious
I can sue you
Hmm just
But what about the people here?
Talk about human touch
It's a multi-ethnic country.
Yeah, growing up in this environment.
What is mutual?
You step aside
I step aside
Let's understand each other
Well, give you a chance to make a mistake.
But what about your very bad situation?
Then something might happen.
Right
This is what I understand.
Right, right.
This is actually just our one.
A tiny fraction.
Yes come again
Can you come again?
return
Would you like some more?
This is too much
This is too much
Think of another one.
You can also let Lao Luo edit
Let me cut it
Editing I think your story is really wonderful
Then you can order one.
I don't even know which one to say
Everything behind is too fierce
It's too fierce when it unfolds
Come on, come on
Let's get some big news
This one.
Come on, do you want to go?
He has to go
I want to go back
I am now basically
He already hated that place.
No, I'm not.
Not ready to go back
I can also speak
You go first
You go first
I can't think of it.
You order one.
Which one do you give me?
You give me you give me
Are you thinking better?
Say this old Luo
This must be said more
How can you forget now?
Oh, dear.
Tax, what else is tax?
Is it in the field?
Tax
We need to get into the details.
I can't say my wife is big.
In fact, I just talked about this tax
Apart from saying that this tax point is high?
Also, his inspection will be very strict.
There is also a feeling that it is his local people.
For example, subject to taxation
Mainly dealing with accountants
Right?
We feel like this accountant is a big jerk
In three words, he is a big bastard
Here it is.
I don't know Chinese.
Can everyone understand?
We are like people here.
Or Chinese
He understands words
That's what he'll tell you, OK.
I want to be a technology company.
For example, like us Chinese
They all like to do some Virtual business
Make this high-tech thing, right?
No one wants to
Like our generation
Especially after reading books
It's either a master's or a doctorate.
Who would run up to open a restaurant?
Who would run up to open a supermarket?
Right?
We all do smart things.
Right? Like, for example, I would do, uh
This is some financial
These aspects of business
Then you will find
When you do this business
All the counting firms over there
They don't want to bother you.
You tell him I'm going to do it.
Because I'm afraid of this tax office
I need to find a better accountant
Because you learn from it.
Right? I need a better accountant
To prevent these things
But when you go to them
They'll tell you OK.
Excuse me.
Your business is too complicated
We can't do it.
The implication is that we want fast money
Right
We want fast money
No, it's complicated.
We just want you.
The simplest restaurant supermarket
Right?
Or construction
It's something that looks very, very grounded.
Grounding business
If you do those very complex technologies
Virtual
Then they'll think you don't belong in this country
The implication is okay.
That's the feeling.
So you say
That led us to these accountants.
Very, very difficult.
Very, very difficult.
This is also why we
Because we are in this industry.
We would like to come here to see
Back to the beginning
So why is it that brought us here?
You even pay taxes on your business there
It's hard to get it right.
Once you don't do it well
You face a huge fine from the tax office
OK, so the tax office fines this thing.
Another topic
Then say if you're doing the tax wrong, OK.
He is definitely punished
What about after this time?
He will give you another tax in the second year.
Called a pretext
What is the concept of this pretext?
After his investigation and research on you last year
He thinks you, for example
For example
You paid 20,000 dollars in taxes?
Very very small business 20,000 dollars
Then he will predict
You should pay $25,000 in taxes next year
I don't know.
What kind of algorithm is he based on?
He can predict how much your business will pay in taxes next year
I'll send you a bill at this time.
Let you pay this tax first
I'm afraid you'll fail him in the end
I'm afraid you won't do it before tax
Before tax
Another tax
Hey, file taxes normally.
We are the end of the anti-single tax industry, right?
After the second year
We report taxes for the same year
Because at this time you have to settle it.
Right? But he's not like that.
When he started the year
Will be based on the taxes you made last year
To predict your taxes for the upcoming year
And let you pay first
That is to say
I haven't made any money yet.
I have to owe so much money to the tax office first.
Of course if you don't pay
I paid this tax in the early days
You can drag
It's really no problem.
Although it seems inexplicable
Why do we owe one?
Taxes not paid by the tax office
The money?
But it is said that
By my friend
His most recent performance
Because I haven't done it there recently.
Just doing too much BC
But the best thing to say is that if you default on this tax
There will still be
Ouch
Ok
Yes, yes.
Still need to pay a very high interest
Penalty interest
Okay, okay.
Yes, that's right.
Right
Let me tell you.
Just now you said two things
Yes uh
Anyway, you are in Malaysia.
What about this friend who watched this video?
Maybe you want to know about Australia and Malaysia.
I'm talking about Malaysia
Uh malesi
In fact, you just talked about this tax
Malaysia also has
There are also some that must be paid first.
Do you have to pay first?
He returned it to you.
Did he return it to you?
That is, you don't have such a high tax in the second year
Did he return it to you?
Well, there will be a refund after the second year.
Yeah, after the second year.
OK, this is the first question.
What is the second question?
One more thing.
Oh, I forgot.
Let's talk about forgetting.
It's the Commonwealth anyway.
His kind of laws are similar
It's just that Australia has this thing
Executed to the fullest extent
incisively and vividly
Right
One by one, possibly punctuation marks.
Yes, yes.
But what about Huaxia?
Just fine.
Huaxia here?
You said it was from a Commonwealth country.
He's not perfect
It's from his humanity
Chinese and foreign human touch
He is not complete
But the law?
Indeed, the system
Tell me another random one.
It's about, uh
Is it the efficiency of the police?
Ah, that's uh
The police are efficient here
Uh, you can mention what this is called
Ah.
What's it called?
Yes, yes, I'm here.
Chatted with the Grip driver over here
I said I said the police here
Why are the police driving here flashing their lights?
Grip drivers later
I want to confirm the authenticity of this information.
The Indian driver told the Chinese driver
He said uh
Inside Malaysia
The police have their lights on
Yes, and because you saw what he said?
You were speeding.
You might be about to slow down.
He's actually a safe state of alarm
Right? In Australia?
Many police officers prefer to drive undercover cars
OK, they're going to drive a V8 plainclothes van
This plainclothes car
Looks exactly like your civilian car
What about the car?
There are at least 4 to 6 cameras around
This camera
Is high definition
Collect the license plate numbers of all past cars around you
And there's big data.
Maybe it's AI now.
Performed this license plate recognition and this intelligent networking
Then analyze who the owner of this car is
How fast were you going?
Then ambush you
After the ambush is over?
Mainly why you can get a fine for stopping it.
Right.
Then say OK.
This is it.
Pretty safe, right?
Not speeding.
And without the seat belt on.
There doesn't seem to be a need to wear a seat belt at the back here.
If you're not wearing a seat belt
We may have a fine of nearly 900.
Fines for urgent estrangement
alone
In fact, there are also some here.
But he still said the same thing.
More flexible
Right, right.
Still that sentence
It's you, look who you met?
And then that's very safe
I wear my seat belt everywhere I go.
Yeah, and then one came along
A case of robbing a bank in central Sydney?
Yeah, and?
A man drives a Porsche
Porsche SUV?
The quality is very good.
And hit the vault of this bank
I have to say
This is not from Malaysia
The quality of this building cannot be compared to Australia
What about Australia, doing this kind of wall or something?
It's made of plywood.
We, they have a middle compartment full of plywood.
It's hollow. There are no walls.
Right
That is, if you are at home
Like knocking a hole
Hey, let's say you're at home
For example
You quarrel with your wife
And you get mad.
You punch a subject
Then this punch hits the house next door
Ah!
Ah, it's your anti-noise cotton that came out.
Right
And? So?
This building is of this quality.
Can you hear the conversation next door?
Some buildings can
Yes, it's almost there.
He made it thin.
No sound insulation cotton is added.
So what they do is
Two boards that thin
We call it breaking
Ah!
Its load-bearing walls are only in a few key columns
It's you. It's like a parking lot.
Your three-bedroom house is full of wooden boards in the middle
Yeah, it's got only a few columns.
Then most of them don't.
That cement
Maybe 80% of Wall
Then you look like something from Wall
Just top to bottom stuff
Our collective name is Wall.
It is strictly consistent
No, Wall's made of boards.
The characteristic of this board is that it can be punched through with one punch.
It's okay to use my power.
I'm just an ordinary person.
There is no problem.
And I just answered this.
It's the small bank that will say oh
Police efficiency is OK.
Because catching speeding is so serious, right?
He will use high technology
He's going to use these very powerful techniques.
In 2014, suddenly there was a year
Then I saw a news
A bunch of robbers
Then drive a
It's 2013.
Driving a Porsche in 2013
Bumped a hole in the bank
Right in Sydney
The bank hit one
Sydney's Big Bank City Centre
Downtown
It's like hitting a hole near the KLCC
After robbing the money, he drove a Subaru SE.
Japanese cars are fast
Run with turbo
Yeah, two cars.
During the period, it was not blocked by any brand.
You look like downtown.
Kuala Lumpur l that KLCC that state ah bank robbery
Countless people called the police
The police listen
Robbers rob a bank
There are blisters everywhere at this time
But when the blisters police listen
Did someone throw a cigarette butt?
Must manage must come
Someone quarrels like this
Must be caught
Send 3 police cars
And there are 6 people
Take away the person who quarreled
Well, if that's what you hear
Someone is robbing a bank straight on this road
Excuse me.
My life is in danger.
I'll hide first
You decide.
And the police will repeatedly confirm
Has the robber left?
Are you gone?
OK, I'm calling the police now.
Ah, do you catch the ending?
Like six months or five months later
And then it's done.
Anyway, a few months later
Because we don't know about it.
We're actually here today to talk about this.
We checked the final result in advance.
Because no one knew the final result at the time
Because of the Australian media
The Australian media is after the report is completed
He has a tendency
What is it?
Oops, this thing is finished.
It may not have a good impact on our ruling department.
Yes, then we will dilute it.
The media will downplay it.
We're only on a very small news outlet
Found the result of this event
Later, we didn't know whether we had caught it well or not.
So many people.
I only know how to rob a bank
And then this thing ended.
No impression of everyone
Just robbed the bank and ran away
Can't catch it yet
Just leave a little bit for people
But we ended up doing this study.
Or after catching
Caught or caught
Five months?
Still tell the truth
Got him!
I got it, it's been a few months.
Just use the camera
Various CCTV
And check it out. Check it out.
They shouldn't.
They shouldn't have these.
Their CCTV is installed in police cars
In a camouflaged police car
For speeding
Specially used to catch speeding
It can still catch
This can still be held, right?
And then, what about someone else's story?
We have an old Chinese medicine doctor, my friend.
Wait a minute.
