hello everyone and welcome to my channel
Happy Valentine's Day it's almost
February so I just decided to crochet
this pretty little heart that can be
used for example as a coaster for your
champagne glasses on Valentine's night
or maybe you could just glue this onto a
Valentine's Day card I think that could
be really cute as well or if you have
any great ideas for what you can make
with these Hearts please write it down
in the comment section I'd really love
to hear about all of your creative ideas
but for now let's just get into the
video and get started for this project
I'm just going to use one color of some
dek weight yarn I will also need a 4.5
mm crochet hook a darning needle to
weave in the
ends and some scissors to begin I'm
going to make a magic circle so I'm
going to wrap my yarn around my two
fingers and create a little cross then
I'll take my hook and insert it
underneath the bottom yarn grab the top
yarn and pull it
through then yarn over and pull through
the loop on the
hook and there's my magic circle so I'm
just going to pull my yarn tail to make
the circle a little bit smaller and to
start the first round I'm going to make
a single crochet into the
circle so insert pull up a loop yarn
over and pull through two and next we
will make a double crochet into the
circle so yarn over insert pull up a
loop yarn over pull through two yarn
over pull go through two and next I'm
going to make three trebles into the
circle so I'm going to yarn over
twice insert the hook pull up a loop
yarn over pull through two yarn over
pull through two yarn over pull through
two and two more times yarn over
twice insert pull up a loop yarn over
pull through two yarn over pull through
two yarn over pull through
two and one more
time next I'm going to make four double
crochet into the circle
so
one
2
three and four double
crochet and I'm just going to tighten
the circle a little bit again
and next to make the tip here in the
bottom of the heart I'm going to make
another treble
crochet so yarn over
twice insert pull up a loop yarn over
pull through two yarn over pull through
two yarn over and pull through
two so we now have a half heart here and
I'm just going to mirror what I just did
here on the other side of the heart so
again I'm going to make four double
crochet just like I did here on the
other
side so
one
2
three and four double
crochet and next three
triples so again yarn over twice insert
pull of the loop yarn over pull through
two yarn over pull through two yarn over
pull through
two and again yarn over
twice insert pull of the loop yarn over
pull through two yarn over pull through
through two yarn over pull through
two and one last
time one more
treble and again a double crochet into
the
circle and at last one single crochet
just like on the opposite side
and I'm going to end the round with a
slip stitch into the first single
crochet here of the
round so insert pull up a loop and pull
through the loop on the hook and I can
now just tighten the circle
completely and here is what my heart
looks like after the end of round one so
to start round two I'm going to to chain
one and I'm going to skip this first
single crochet here and into the next
Stitch I'm going to make a single
crochet and a half double
crochet so insert pull up a loop yarn
over P
two and next a half double crochet so
yarn
over insert pull up a
loop yarn over pull through three
Loops next I'm going to make two double
crochet into the next two
stitches
so one double
crochet and two double crochet into the
same
Stitch and
again
one and two double crochet cret into the
same Stitch and next I'm going to make a
double crochet and a half double crochet
into the next
Stitch so first double
crochet and then half double crochet
into the same
Stitch next half double crochet into the
next four
stitches so
one
2
three and
four and I've now reached this bottom
Point here of the heart and into this
Stitch I'm going to make a half double
crochet a double crochet and a half
double crochet all into the same
Stitch so first
half double
crochet then double crochet to make the
little Point
here and then half double
crochet and now we're going to just
mirror what we just did here on the
opposite side of the heart so I'm going
to make a half double crochet into the
next four
stitches one
2
3 and
four then into the next Stitch half
double crochet and double crochet into
the same
Stitch first half double
crochet and double
crochet into the same Stitch and next
I'm going to make two double crochet
into the next two
stitches so two double
crochet into the same
Stitch and again two double
crochet into the next
Stitch and next I'm going to make a half
double crochet and a single crochet into
the next Stitch just like I did here on
the opposite
side so
first half double
crochet and then single
crochet into the same Stitch and here at
last I'm just going to make a slip
stitch into this last
Stitch and that will be the end of round
two
and to start round three I'm going to
chain one and next I'm going to skip
this first single crochet of the round
here and make a single crochet and a
half double crochet into this next
Stitch so into the half double crochet
of the previous
round single
crochet and half double crochet into the
same Stitch and into the next Stitch I
will make a half double crochet and a
double crochet into the same
Stitch so first half double
crochet and then double
crochet into the same
Stitch next I'm going to make two double
crochet into the next four
stitches so two double crochet in into
the same
Stitch four
times that was two
times three
times and four
times next I'm going to to make a double
crochet and a half double crochet into
the next
Stitch so
first double
crochet and then half double
crochet into the same Stitch next I'm
going to make a half double crochet into
the next five
stitches so
one
2
3
4 and five and again I've reached this
bottom Point here of the heart and into
this Stitch I'm going to make one half
double crochet two double crochet and a
half double
crochet so
first one half double
crochet then
two double
crochet and at last one more half double
crochet and again I will just mirror
what I did on this side of the heart on
the opposite side here so again make a
half double crochet into the next five
stitches
1
2
3
4 and
five and next half double crochet and
double crochet into the next
Stitch half double
crochet and double crochet
into the same Stitch and next two double
crochet into the next four
stitches so two double crochet into the
same Stitch four
times that was
one
two
3 and four
times next double crochet and half
double crochet into the next
Stitch double
crochet and half half double crochet
into the same Stitch and next half
double crochet and single crochet into
the next
Stitch half double
crochet and single crochet into the same
Stitch and to end the round I'm just
going to skip this last Stitch here and
make a slip stitch into this join right
here
and my heart is now done so I'm just
going to fasten off my
yarn so I will just tie a little
knot and all that's left to do now is
just to weave in the ends on the back
side so I will just attach my
needle and just leave in my end back and
forth two times is quite enough so I
will just cut my yarn and again I will
just weave in the other yarn Tail as
well
and my heart is now all done thank you
so much for watching I hope you enjoyed
