Highlights
Jurgen Klopp has announced he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Klopp said he told the club over the summer that he would leave, but only informed players this morning.
Klopp: "I realized my resources are not endless. I wanted to put everything into this last season, have a break, whatever, and then stop."
Klopp: "The players' reaction was top, really good. I'm here fully here, I answer a thousand questions if you want me too."
The backroom staff including Pep Lijnders are also leaving at the end of the season.
Klopp: "The summer was difficult...realizing how good this team can be gave me joy. I love each minute at this moment."
Klopp has strongly denied his departure has anything to do with the club owners FSG.
Most fans seem to want Xabi Alonso to replace Klopp as the next Liverpool manager.
Klopp: "What we've built is an incredibly strong structure. It's one of the reasons I can leave."
Billy Hogan: "I want to set an expectation first - it's a process we will go through to ensure we've looked at all the info, data, and done our proper due diligence."
Claims that players only found out this morning adds to suspicions on the bizarre timing of the announcement.
The next manager will inherit a great young team with a lot of potential and experience already gained.
Klopp deserves us to believe what he said, he deserves us to believe his reasoning.
The next week of big games vs Chelsea and Arsenal are massive, bad results will see blame immediately go to the announcement timing.
Whoever the next manager is, they are walking into a very good dressing room full of brilliant players.

what is up my friends I would say you're
very welcome along but that doesn't feel
the right sentiment to start off today's
show um sorry my alarm's gone off on my
phone there um yeah doesn't feel like
the right sentiment to start today's
stream we're going to give you live
updates from uran club's press
conference I'm going to feed you the
quotes as they come into to us um you've
probably watched or at least some of you
will have seen shvy Alonzo's press
conference with lcus earlier on H I've
been reading through some of the of
course before we go live just to see how
people are feeling um there's a couple
of people who are putting names into the
chat that quite frankly ludicrous I see
the likes of zidan's name being
mentioned I mean look he's just not a
Liverpool Football Club manager he isn't
you
know today's about two things really I
guess today is about um acknowledging
everything Jurgen has done for the
football
club um trying to process where we're
all at and I guess we got to look
forwards then as well look to the Future
what that might hold what it might look
like I mean I've said for years on this
channel continuity has always been
really important and it's one thing
we've had that maybe other clubs haven't
had in the last few years is that
certainty of of manager and Direction um
over the last couple of hours I've been
trying to put things together and make
it make sense and you know try to see if
if there's reasons that are a little bit
outside of what we're being told and the
truth is there's probably a whole
combination of things uh I don't really
believe in conspiracy theories around
stuff like this you know the big
question I've been left asking all day
is why now with the announcement because
apparently he told the club in the
summer so all I can think of um putting
my rational brain on is just to think
that maybe a leak was going to come out
or something and that that's why it had
to be now and some more information
again from earlier on is that apparently
the players were only told this morning
um the club knew in the summer but the
players apparently according to reports
only found out this morning like the
rest of us which uh again I can only
sometimes feel like these things
are are maybe forced to a time frame
because of leaks or something I don't
know but here's some quotes coming in uh
I've been doing this for 24 years said
klopp I've invested everything I have I
realized that my resources are not
endless um I wanted to put everything
into this last season have a break
whatever and then stop klopp said you
realize yourself you're not a young
rabbit anymore you can't jump as high as
you did it's not that I thought about it
on purpose it just happened then I
started thinking about it and this club
with all the super things we have this
club needs a top manager so a couple of
things that strike me about this is I do
love that Juran
klopp still sorted out this new team
that he still done what he promised
which was to leave the club in a healthy
state to leave the club in a good
position for whoever the next manager is
that comes in and for all the other
great achievements that jurgen's given
us we have to say this is one that the
man's lived up to as well you know he
promised us that he would leave the club
in a better place some when he found it
and I think we can safely say that the
man has lived up to his word on that one
some more quotes coming in
um I told the club the decision and then
my coaches uh now everybody knows it and
everybody believes me that I love the
club I don't take it lightly I am
convinced it is right so I guess the
question I for you guys
is why do you think the decision was
announced today because that's the what
for all the rest of it I can figure out
I absolutely can believe urgen klopp um
has run out of energy I believe that of
course it's understandable um Liverpool
are going to look to appoint the
sporting director that's more news
that's come out uh over the next few
weeks or months ahead of an appointment
of a manager that's another bit of news
that's come out from inside the club um
George smka will be leaving his role at
the end of The Campaign as well pep
Linder and the coaching team they're set
to depart at the end of the season but
look I can't be the only one who starts
to think
about Salah situation Trent situation
Virg situation hope that they're not as
shocked as the rest of us are orbe of
course they are if they've already found
out today I'm sure they're every bit as
surprised as you and I
but from fsg's perspective look I don't
think there's conspiracy theories I
don't think there's a Fallout I don't
think I I genuinely don't believe it's
anything like that I don't think it's to
do with the documentary I don't think
it's anything to do with transfer
budgets or anything I I really just feel
like Jurgen clubs earned the right for
us to take him a face value with what he
said the man has never willingly let us
wrong or mis uh misdirected us so I want
to give him that respect that he
deserves it's just the timing of it just
feels very very very unusual to
me uh someone said because we're not
playing I don't know what that means we
literally played Wednesday we're playing
playing again Sunday we're playing again
Wednesday we're playing again Sunday
after I it's not like we're in the
middle of an international Break um you
know why wasn't it last week we had the
11 days off when everybody was on a
break it could have been an easier time
to drop that news and then I guess deal
with it during a time where we had no
games I
mean it is going to be a
distraction there's no way to dress that
up it's going to take up every press
conference it's going to be every
interview with the the players
it's I I I just I find the timing very
odd from a PR
perspective um right more quotes from
urgen klopp he said the relief was there
when I made the decision that was
another thing I realized today it is
mixed H I'm not as emotional as I will
be when it's over I had to tell the
owners then the supporters and players
the players reaction was top really good
uh I'm here fully here I answer a
thousand questions if you want me too
but then it's until the end of the
season uh I'm fully in some talks last
days to tell uh people slightly earlier
uh some tears but that's normal after
such a long time it's the right thing to
do uh the club fails time to plan for
the future while we're in the present
klopp goes on to say the players didn't
have a lot of questions we have a really
strong bond we're professionals uh and
the agreement we have on both sides is
for one year uh a year at a time
basically Al it's a real agreement and
the boys see it like that they're in a
good mood so
look I do look look I love his honesty
by the way I love that he's not he knows
if he can't do it at 100% he can't do it
and I love that about him and I love
that he's he's asked himself those
questions you know um that makes him the
man he is to me if he can't do it 100%
he's not going to half ass he's not
going to phone it in that's just not the
way klopp is um he spoke about his
energy levels earlier on and you know
how it he is that life for the club he
is the energy he is sets the mood sets
the tempo sets the vibe and you know I
understand him when he said if he can't
commit to it if he can't give it a
100% uh a full energy he probably feels
like he'll do us a disservice although
we'd never feel that way obviously about
uran um I am
genuinely just a little bit taken back
though
because I guess selfishly and it is
selfishly you know I I thought we had
him till 2026 cuz we knew he was never
getting fired that was never going to
happen so it was always going to be
jurgen's decision when he decides to
call it a day and and we deserve to give
him that respect and respect his
decision um it's just the timing part
that's the part to keep going back
over uh jurer went on to say it's
different to other situations usually
when we say goodbye it's because a
manager has been sacked I have to uh
constantly always think about is it
still right because I said I won't be
manager uh I said won't be the manager
won't be an excuse we fight for
everything that's the good news and look
we are fighting for everything
and the time that he announce leaving we
know as we say here right now we're in a
cup final we're in a good position in
another domestic cup we're in the best
position we could be in the top of The
League table and we're in a good
position in Europe so who knows how we
end this season
but he deserves the big send off he
deserves the trophies he deserves the
fairy tale ending and I've no doubt that
the players the staff the coaches the
fans and everybody involved in the
football club are going to go out of the
way to make sure that he leaves on a big
note from a a very selfish Irish
perspective the idea of maybe looking at
it and
thinking his last game could be
in Dublin his last game could be
hopefully to see Liverpool lift another
European trophy
um complete the set pretty much Europa
League champions league hopefully
another Premier League H he would have
done it all if he can do that
and yeah I'm I'm genuinely
just I think we all feel like we're in
mourning a little bit here and that
people might think this is over reaction
from all of us but this is what the man
has been to us right he's been the one
constant in our footballing lives over
the last8 nine years he's been the
Messiah he's been the dream he's made us
dream he's made us believe along with
him and it was not an easy task when he
came to the football club to get us back
to where we are uh and that's about him
his energy his passion his Focus his
determination his Spirit you know
everything that makes us love the man
for good for bad we buted head with him
at times we've disagreed with him he's
called the fans out But ultimately it's
all that I love it's always been all
that I love from both sides and you know
watching the likes of John gibens from
the anfield rap speaking about him on
sky and watching former players and
everybody's the same thing you know even
see the fans being interviewed outside
anfield it's just a sense
of a a sense of loss at the moment you
know and thankfully uran's healthy and
safe and you know hopefully has 30 40 50
more years left on this planet but you
you know a big chapter of our life's
coming to a close as Liverpool fans and
I didn't live through Paisley or
shankley or uh any of the other
legendary managers outside of Kenny
dougle so this is this is yeah this
is It's sad that I can't hide it Lads it
is
sad uh Club speaking about a potential
successor this is what he had to say uh
why should why should I in football some
people you don't see uh often you live
this business and it looks like do all
the work and I don't and I can't what
we've built is an incredibly strong
structure it's one of the reasons I can
leave klopp said so many people work
here with the idea to find a perfect
solution for Liverpool last thing they
need is advice from an old man leaving
uh Billy Hogan then sted to speak Billy
Hogan is said probably to put into words
significant how significant this is uran
talked about leaving the club in a
better place than he found it in 2015 no
doubt he's done that as he said he'll be
here for months a prospective news is
sad and supporter share that it is sad
um yans thank you for your Super Chat
yans has come in and said sad day for
Liverpool yuran Klo has been fantastic
for you
um
look there
is there is life after uran as hard as
that seems to Fathom and think about now
you know we will immediately again turn
to thinking about a successor and I'm
sure you've seen Javy Alonzo's interview
or press conference today at
lusin
um if you're asking me for my reading of
that situation I feel
like people will focus on the things
that Alonzo did say but I think it's the
things he didn't say that certainly
caught my attention um and look he is
that I don't care what anybody else
thinks this is my opinion so I can can
only say what I feel but to me there is
only one name and that name is Alonzo
and he is the one right now in my
opinion he has the gravy task to be
Liverpool manager he will have the Buy
in from the fans he has a brand of
football that I think we will enjoy
playing um he's a young hungry coach so
I hope and I don't mean any disrespect
to Leverkusen because I know he is a lot
to play for this season with them but we
need to go after him it has has to be
him I know deserve his name will be
mentioned others will be mentioned it
has to be him for me he's the guy he's
the one um and it as much as nobody like
we spoke about replacing Salah right and
we've said nobody's going to come in to
replace Mo it's not possible nobody's
going to do Jurgen nobody's going to be
Jurgen nobody but all you can do I guess
is as Jurgen to have that structure in
place look to do the right things any
manager coming in whoever it might be is
going to inherit a great young team with
a lot of potential um a lot of
experience gained already and hopefully
a winning mentality so I want to see how
you guys feel about the next manager I
know it maybe feels dirty or wrong to
talk about it but we have to you know
the club have to get their ducks in a
row right now a sporting director has to
be appointed and then obviously a
structure put in place for who that new
manager is going to be H app Anda said
Craig Club puts the focus on him and
pressure off the players all oo drives
them for more of a final push for
historic season genius timing from all
um I've got to say mate I agree with a
lot of what you've written I I just
disagree on the timing of it I don't
feel it is genius timing at all U I
don't know if it's good or bad timing
actually you know we I guess the proof
of that is going to be over the next few
weeks um but it is going to take up a
lot
of column inches a lot of time a lot of
um question
questions uh shaan McLean thank you for
your super sticker uh lots of shouts in
the chat for Alonzo as well uh Brighton
manager said Mando look the Zerby I'm
sure you know you don't want to be
disrespectful here as well because
Alonzo's in a job theer's in the job so
a lot of the names been mentioned win a
job but um I'm glad that I'm not really
seeing Steven Gerard's name bandied
around anywhere because that would just
be foolish from the club and I I don't
expect them to be that naive silly at
this point of fsg's ownership so I don't
expect Gerard to be getting the phone
call anyway um for me look as I said it
is just one man it's Alonzo if you can't
get Alonzo desery but I I would have no
faith in a nagles man I'd have no faith
in a tle they're just not Liverpool
managers to me they don't have that
gravy Tas and
um I don't know I don't even know what
to expect now like are we going to get a
manager to come in for another 3 four
years does Liverpool Po's future change
now are we going to you know the modern
trait is managers don't stay around for
nine years managers don't do like what
Alex Ferguson did arson Wenger did so
what's the new Liverpool going to look
like as a club's
perspective uh some more stuff from
Billy
Hogan he
said first time we had a chat about it
decision from a pro and personal
standpoint I could see from my
perspective knowing him uh this was a
decision he was comfortable with and
believed in uh when your colleague and
friend comes to it I support it and I
respect it this is about everybody
seeing what happens outside but the
amount of pressure for 24 years now so I
was surprised in a sense but I
understood it a sad day but also credit
to uran he's come to the decision he
wants it will be H an orderly process to
replace him Billy Hogan goes on to say
the same process that brought us Jurgen
will be done now our ownership Mike
Gordon in particular will be part of
that process but I won't be uh it won't
be a running commentary we operate when
we're ready and talk about things we
won't get into the name game klopp went
on to say the summer was difficult now
that we had a lot of time um to put feet
on the table we worked to bring in the
right players when we got them it was
okay summer training prep outstanding
realizing how good this team can be gave
me joy I love each minute at this
moment uh David says leig manager look
for me it is just um it's just one guy
it is it's Javi Alonzo he is the guy he
is he's the name and I've made calls
today he's the name on everyone's list
I'm not saying he's the guy I'm not
telling you he's going to be the manager
but he's the name H and the pro as Billy
Hogan has said the process will start um
from what's being briefed it looks like
a sporting director will go to be
priority number one to put that in place
and then you know the conversations but
here's here's what I'm thinking so the
decision was told to the owners in the
summer absolutely respect that and
understand that but they've had from the
summer till now so you
know I'm also not naive so do I believe
that there hasn't been anything any
conversations yet behind the scenes
no because I don't think anybody would
be
that uh flippant with such a big
decision such a big business so I think
as soon as uran gave the club his
decision and obviously the club
respected it like they've always done
same way they've always respected if he
wanted a new deal that new deal would
always be putting the table for him so
right now it just feels
like I wonder if if those that short
list is already drawn up you would
imagine it would be right at this
point
but Alonzo so inexperienced he is and he
isn't Sam I
mean he's not a manager with the
experience of a clap or Mourinho or uh
unai emry or somebody
but he's got the right credentials for
me the right brand of football the right
football and brain and erned is right I
know he's only been at lers in a short
time but you know he was at Saia dad
earned the stripes came into l
has taken on the machine that is Bayern
Munich and so far so good for Leverkusen
in the league and I'll would just say
from a standing of attractiveness to
players coming in and uh to Liverpool
fans and I guess for that next
generation of
manager I feel like it's the right one
for me I just feel like Alonzo is is the
guy um I like the brand of football he
plays there are certainly good coaches
in the world at the minute and we'll see
some crazy names bandied about as well
but you know him and Zerby probably
going to be the two leading names uh for
me and but again this is about you guys
as well uh klopp said it was not my idea
when I signed a new deal at the time I
was convinced I would go until
2026 I misjudged that I thought my
energy was endless but it's not uh Klo
on H Enrique comments I saw he said it
was about FSG FSG has nothing to do with
it yeah by the way way another reason
why I think
that Jose Enrique needs to just piss off
honestly I seen his little cringy
interview uh that he gave with Sky where
again he's looking for sinister reasons
when he doesn't know like some things
even I you know I don't I don't turn
into anger and hatred I don't look for
scapegoat here I don't think there is a
scapegoat I don't think there's a big
bad bogey man in the background
I think what you're going have said is
is true and we owe him that belief so
again it's another reason I think again
why Jose Enrique can just [ __ ] off
honestly he's just a hanger on uh and
I'm glad cop mentioned that FSC has
nothing to do with it because even on
social media I see Linda puty who was
like you know saying they were
devastated you know when yuran Club told
them the news and um I I don't believe
do was a Fallout if I'm being honest I
don't I don't believe that side of it I
don't think that there's they've but a
head over transfer fees or the direction
of the club I honestly
think all right this comparison we're
about to make is a stretch but hear me
out I've said to you guys many times on
my streams
that you can't get half ARS Craig you
can't have the lunatic who's happy and
screaming and shouting without the angry
Craig and I've told you guys the same
sometimes if I'm flat I'm flat and I
can't lie I can't fake it
and the 1% of me that has that spark
like uran has I do believe him when he
says it's about the energy levels
because it takes a lot to be that leader
and you can see he is the leader of the
club the leader of the dressing room the
leader of all of us and he won't half
ass it and he won't phone it in and I
love him for his honesty on that
uh klopp continued with some more
comments said it would be easy in this
job to blame the owners and say FSG
should spend more uh was I always happy
with that no but they built two stands
the access center for me was the next 40
50 years we did it properly the
Liverpool way which I love that we
didn't win H Champions Leagues not down
to money klopp said we got 97 points in
94 points uh and didn't win the league
and didn't win more Champions League it
wasn't down to signing one player if you
want to blame anyone blame me having a
team that could do all that was
exceptional clap on his future plans no
club or country for a year no other
English Club ever I can promise that
we'll slow down with quotes now uh said
Connor to me and I'm just reading that
out like I'm Ron Burgundy who will read
anything on a teleprompter I'm Ron
Burgundy I'm not putting in the next bit
and devastated said Emma but respect the
club for making this huge decision and
if FSG even sniff anywhere near Mourinho
will lose my [ __ ] Carl said wish I had a
ticket for Liverpool's last home game I
can only imagine mate uh how much
they're going to start changing hands
for uh by the way
interestingly somebody commented on
social media build a statue or klopp
deserves a statue and we did notice that
Linda liked that post again not trying
to say that that's saying he's making a
statue but um there you go you know at
least they understand what we think of
them and how highly we regard
them klopp just wiped a tear from his
eyes to John power I think we've all
done that a bit today right and I know
I've
certainly I felt like all of you I'm
just in shock I did not expect to get up
today to that news um at all not like I
don't think anyone had a sniff it was
kept very very very very very
quiet even a few journalists and stuff
that I messages and conversations with
say nobody had a Scooby-Doo like nobody
uh Billy Hogan on potential successors
he said I want to set an expectation
first it's a process we will go through
and the way this club operates we will
ensure we've looked at all the info data
and done our proper due diligence and
then we'll make a decision and we'll
have an announcement I can't commit to a
timeline on it so based off what Billy
Hogan has said and you know reading
between the
lines seems like that there isn't a
successor that's ready to go next week
let's say we're not going to hear about
a name and I guess the process does
start now well I hope that they start
the top of that list and start looking
at the stats data information around
Alonzo
because I think with the style of
players we have with the club as well
it's important that we do bring in a
manager that would at least play into
those strengths of the players that are
at the club as well as of course putting
their own stamp on it over a bit of
time H and the summer clock Club fresh
and ready to go for another couple of
years what's change after a couple of
months is he
drained mate I can't give you that
answer and you
know I don't know the answer I don't
like I'm not going to sit here and
speculate as to I have to takee what
klopp says the face value because he's
earned that trust
um yeah that's I I I'm not going to look
for tinf foil hat moments or a finger of
blame here it's just it's a
disappointing day and we've got to
respect juran's decision you know what's
best for him and his family and it is an
all-encompassing gig man that runs you
down and ages people quickly and I guess
you get one life you have to spend time
with your family and you have to
recuperate you have to rest up and
maybe he needs another project in a year
or so down the line maybe some other job
will come that will put the fire back in
his belly whether that's the national
team with Germany or whether that's
another job in Europe who
knows uh quote from klopp no Club No
Country for the next year no English
Club ever said East
um yeah I I I I agree and I believe him
of course I believe him you know now
look I'm not going to hold him to the no
job for the next year part because well
look he said that when he left Dortmund
and he ended up at us in four months so
you never know you know but I do believe
him 100% that he will not be back
managing the club in England I
absolutely believe that because how
could he you know he where his Club he's
our manager and if he's managing in
England would only be at Liverpool
Football Club so I guess I'm just
grateful for the time we've had with
them I'm looking forward to the time we
still have with them but I'd be a liar
if I said I'm not here who I'm not here
when I'm not devastated today you
know and I've also been thinking about
what what life looks like moving forward
because one conversation we've not
really ever had to have over the last
nine years as Liverpool fans is is a
time for the manager to go you know we
all said last year okay it was a poor
poor year by Club standards but he's
earned the right to have that poor year
and let's see how this year goes and
this year's going very well so far so
yeah it's going to be strange because
you know whoever comes in whether it's
Alonzo or
anybody they're not going to get as much
wiggle room with fans as klopp because
you could see from the off what klopp
was building now that's been built now
now the club's in the point where we
need to continue to just challenge at
the top and win trophy
so
I'm not looking forward to those
conversations like let's say we did have
a couple of bad results it's never
been it's never been anything I've ever
done in anfield agenda where I've ever
considered the manager's job ever it's
you won't find the thumbnail you won't
find the title you won't find a video
where I talk about klopp going of all
the stuff people can label at me that's
not one of
them but what that look like next year
when new manager in the hot seat
how long do we give it before we get it
right it's weird it's just so many
questions uh for some reason I have this
feeling last week no idea why said just
a B I was unable to sleep last night
right my wife woke up a couple of
occasions and she just seen me awake
kind of staring at the ceiling and she
said to me it's that on your mind I said
no I don't know what's up I can't sleep
I don't know why there's nothing bugging
me there's nothing scaring me there's no
no Financial worries that I have on my
header at and
then today she comes into the room she
said the lads rang kops leaving
Liverpool you've got to go live and I
thought that's weird like that was my
first thought process was that weird
cuz I just had
this feeling but it wasn't about Club
leaving but I just had this
unease
uh what else we got in the chat have
Liverpool already got a manager lined up
can you see you're going to leave him
without a new manager being put in place
so I don't know I don't believe we have
a manager lined up I mean I think taking
Billy Hogan and what he said a face
value I do believe that the
process maybe the process has started a
little bit you know you would have to
say in any Walk of Life if you've got a
business and somebody your manager or
your CEO or somebody tells you they're
leaving you're gonna have to start the
wheels turning in your brain you're
gonna have to
start saying okay do we bring in
somebody now uh who's going to be so as
much as I believe Billy Hogan that the
process will be underway and they'll
leave no stone and turned and they'll do
all of their checks and I get all that
but I think there has to be a few names
that are certainly at the Forefront of
their
thoughts uh club's genuinely tired and I
wouldn't be surprised that VAR was the
final nail I
don't I don't think there is a scapegoat
in this I don't think there is one
reason either I think it's a whole host
of things
from the scrutiny of managing a club the
size of Liverpool for maybe the
direction football is gone and the
situation in the league and
the running up a hill trying to catch
Manchester City and there's probably a
lot of things his health his
family uh the intensity of the job and
also as I say so many times you can only
go back to the well so often your words
as a manager or as a a
motivator can only be said so many times
before everything starts to go a little
bit stale
so I just again just want to thank you
is the only thing that's gone through my
brain at a minute like thank you for
giving me and Us in my opinion the best
best years of my life watching
football uh
yeah I think we all probably feel that
way right maybe unless you're older and
you you're around for the the days and
the 70s and 80s but for me this is it
like he's he's the that
guy
uh super leag are they trying to bring
it back Lio nah that's not going to be
it because the fans can can the
supporters Union can veto that so it's
not
that um the odds are going shorter and
shorter here by the way on the next
managers people put money down and
that's all this is an indication of by
the way is how much money people are
putting down on it because that's what
makes the odds fluctuate Alonzo is now
into one to two so he's now into odds on
earlier on if you remember when this
news first broke and we looked at the
odds you were talking six to five on six
to five against for Alonzo now he's into
one to2 der Zerby 6 to1 linders 8 to1
anao and nagles 14 to one each uh Billy
Hogan on the back room staff leaving he
said pep and vtor want to get going in
their managerial careers we understood
that so it looks like those guys are
going to move on and look for managerial
jobs themselves um which again I
understood that had to be the next move
for linders anyway um and he can't be he
can't be that he can't be linders it
can't he's
not he's not that guy to come after
klopp I think it needs to be fresh I
don't think the idea of pro promoting
from within would work now so I do think
yeah go fresh
um is Pep linders leaving yes the back
room staff are going with uran at the
end of the season uh so is George schat
for those who hadn't heard that news
either he's going to be leaving and
we're going to look to put in the new
sporting
director what about hansy
flick
nah so to manage Liverpool you got to
have gravy Tas and that's what I keep
saying and a lot of the managers names
who've been mentioned like let's throw a
name out there that's lots of people are
put into the chat zidan well firstly he
doesn't speak English so I don't know
how he comes into motivates the player
straight away and it's not a right
cultural fit he's not the right type of
person to manage Liverpool Football Club
zidan will be a real Madrid France
Juventus somebody else perhaps but not
Liverpool nman I don't think he
has
done enough
lately uh to justify it I think his
stock has dropped a little bit in World
football if we look inwardly at the
Premier League you've got der Zerby
um you know I I don't want to see the
likes of GRA Potter's name linked either
that's
just it's looked as one name I can't get
past Alonzo it's Alonzo for me maybe
desery but Alonzo's the one if I had a
magic one now and I could wave it I'm
going to lusen to get Javi jabbi excuse
me uh sad news to hear Craig thank you
for covering this thank you for being
with us King it's uh you know it's it's
the day I've been dreading more so than
any player leaving you know I said this
over and over again klopp's the biggest
signing klopp's the most important
one
um and I I guess I have to turn the
conversation to Salah now to some extent
because what does this mean for Mo in
his own mind I mean what does this mean
for him and his
connection to the club is that going to
go a little bit because the manager of
course that helped along with his own
great work turn him into a
superstar if he's departing and Mo's got
one year to go are we going to see a
change or will the new manager come in
maybe and excite Mo or other players
into thinking yeah maybe you know let's
go again refresh new deal I don't know
but this is where your brain goes to in
these moments
don't be sad Craig it's over be happy
that it happened I do love that take
Matthew I'm certainly grateful it's
happened let me say that
um there's something very reassuring
about getting up every day talking to
you guys about football we have our
highs we'll have our lows but that
consistency of
manager it's been a truly heartwarming
thing you know it's been lovely to know
that no matter how bad things have
gotten that conversation in the chats
never come up about is it time for urgen
to leave
um so yes definitely thankful it's
happened 100% thankful we we've had
urgen uh some more stuff from kloy said
this summer was the first time I had a
team meeting and I realized I couldn't
lead it uh then the potential of the
team got better and I thought yes uh
that's it time to leave
and I love his honesty on that sincerely
I love that he is that's the end of the
press conference by the way press
conference is over now but that's the
measure of the man that's one of the
reasons I love this man is he's not
fooling himself or anyone he's honest
he's sincere he's humble enough to know
if he can't do it at 100% and that takes
a big big character and a big man and a
big personality to to admit that and
that's why he is a legend a great an
icon
um yeah I know people want conspiracy
theories and people
want people to point fingers at but I
genuinely think what he said is
true if we get jabbi
Alonzo sure what should be the standard
in the Prem I I don't know dude
cuz at this point on where we are as a
football club whoever the next manager
is we want to make sure we're still
Champions League every year we want to
make sure
we're as competitive as we can be in the
transfer market and I think as Liverpool
fans we've all had a little taste of
success it's been nice seeing that
League trophy was a beautiful thing um
and I hope that this
isn't the star of Liverpool sliding back
a little bit
um this is a big moment for the owners
this is a big moment for FSG Billy Hogan
and the rest of them to get this right
so the right to take their time the
right to look at every candidate
possible you know uh take on advice I
guess if needs be
and see what happens
next uh love you Liverpool of course
said Ben Peak um we're still in our
golden era look what klopp said about
the new team is absolutely spot on that
recruitment in the summer the players
that he's brought in whoever that next
manager is is going to be coming in to a
dressing room that they know they'll be
able to work with they know that they'll
they don't have a rebuilding job so a
lot of the times if a new manager comes
into a job they're coming in because
somebody before them has failed or
because
their signings haven't worked out and
you know the owners run the pressure
that's not going to be the case for
Liverpool's next manager they are going
to walk into a dressing room full
of exciting young hungry accomplished
players and yes they want to put their
own personal touch on it and yes they'll
add in their own take
but it's it's a job that anybody in
their right mind should be begging for
at this point yes you've got the
daunting t of coming in after uran but
it's a rarity you get to come into a
club in a good position as a as a
manager like that um and her next
manager whomever that may be is
definitely walking into a very very good
dressing
room what about the players that came
because of
klopp in what sense like I don't get
what you mean um these are all
professionals they understand that
football is an evolving thing that
changes and can move quickly just like
some of these guys maybe thought they
were settled at a particular Club until
Liverpool came in for them quickly and
then all of a sudden they're at
Liverpool or I think the players will
understand because of the sincerity at
which Ur and klopp would have delivered
the message to them same way delivered
it to us the same way delivered it to
the media you know it's sincerity and
honesty and I think they'll relate to
that and they'll understand it and I'm
sure that they'll go home and be as
confused or as sad as the rest of us but
he is right about having a good dressing
room and a good team and a good group
and that's the mark of the maners I keep
saying I love it I love that he's done
what he's
promised all you can ever do in life you
know is hold people to what they say and
he's done what he said as Billy Hogan
said 2015 when he arrived at the club he
said I want to leave the club in a
stronger position than when I arrived
and he's done it and he will do it so
what what can we say other than thank
you uran and you know let's enjoy these
last few months of Juran tricky
Reds uh Diego Simeone no Simeone is a
football terrorist in my head I cannot
go from watching urgen klopp football to
watching Diego Simone football I can't
do it I I couldn't no we need we need
somebody that's going to know how to get
the best out of these players and play
the style of football that let's be be
honest our players look forward you know
they're an attacking group so yeah no
not cholo Sim only thank
you uh we must stick together in these
times said Samuel yeah look
I'm I'm very sad today but I'm
also as as that gentleman said earlier
on in the chat I'm glad it's happened as
in the nine years with uran I'm glad
we've had them cuz look at what what's
happened in football in that time around
other clubs look how many managers have
come and gone for United or Chelsea or
you
know oh God man this is like I have a
12year old son and almost all of his
life so far jurgen's been at the H at
Liverpool and we've never had to have a
conversation of is it time to sack
somebody is it time to
um move on do we need to look at a new
coach it's just so many questions that
we've never had to ask before
so give me some names in the chat
realistic ones who you'd like to come in
or who you think will be the right fit
look we can talk about mad names like
Ana cogo but ultimately Z spur is newly
in there um and that's not going to
happen Des Zerby he said that he's Focus
are bright until the end of the season I
don't know if there's a hidden message
in that but be under No Illusion about
one
thing
I don't think that there's a manager out
there that this job will be offered to
that will turn it
down I can't see like can you and even
if you're an opposition Club fan right
now you got to say if this jobs offered
to a
manager they're not turning it down they
aren't nobody you you'd be mad to turn
down
what's available at the moment with this
group of players
uh feels like we've lost a friend today
said box will best wishes and many
thanks to klopp for all the good memory
thanks for being our therapy Craig we
need it I've just been exchanging
messages with like LFC USA you know
Brian saying how are you feeling it
feels like even Connor everyone's just
shocked because there was no inkling of
this you
know just out like
that
um jabbi is not approved takes Zan
that's just an idiot answer you know
nothing about Liverpool Football Club if
your answer is zadan and I mean that not
as a dig at you I'm just being
factual nothing about cedine zadan
strikes a core with Liverpool or
Liverpool's fans or the way Liverpool is
as a city he doesn't speak English He
it's just it's just culturally so so bad
of a fit it's just a silly answer and
it's an answer of somebody who obviously
I
think it's just a FIFA answer I'm sorry
it's just such if you knew anything
about our
club it's not going to be zadan
dude um Ruben amorim but want Alonzo so
David
Cornwell
uh I'm so glad that your was a red
um
we're going to lose an amazing manager
the league will have lost a
great uh Marco Rose definitely played on
the clap at Ms he's the one said
Sam uh jabby seems like the best option
to Jacko shaes keante he doesn't have a
club uh I have a lifetime of love for
club nah kante's
too kante is not that guy for us I don't
think K's
a a great manager to bring in to
stabilize a club
or to get you a league title or two in
the short term but again with what we
have at Liverpool he's not that guy you
know he's not going to work hand you
also have to think who's going to work
hand in hand and who's going to fit with
FSG and again zidan and Conte don't
strike me as the types of managers that
would interest um FSG in the way that
they
operate
there is a part of me that thinks I
wonder if Mourinho sitting around hoping
he gets a call I don't want him and I
don't think it's going to happen but I
can't help but think back to when we
appointed rafhael bonitz knowing that
Mourinho wanted the Liverpool job before
that Chelsea job um and he's out of work
right now he's not getting the job but I
wonder if he's going to put his name
forward for
it
only people I'd like it is Herb in
Alonzo said Dylan saw Alonzo's press
conference earlier he didn't exactly
rule himself out of the job and that's
exactly what I thought
mate I I'm the same as you dude I
thought he definitely didn't rule
himself out of the job did he now he
didn't rule himself into the job but he
did speak
about kind
of he said a lot without saying a lot if
you get me I I didn't feel he was ruling
himself out from what I've seen uh I got
to be honest I do I I definitely don't
feel like he's ruled himself
out what do you think of unai Emy I
think he's a great coach but he's also a
good club a club that will not let their
manager go
and a great coach nothing else to say on
right nothing but respect but had a good
club and a Forward Thinking Club as well
so you know know I think he's he's safe
there at Aston
Villa uh the Jona manager said scales
gamer so again ask yourself this do do
we see Manchester City and the City
Group wanting to allow a manager that's
at one of their clubs in Jona uh a club
that I look is on the up and up and is
doing great
things there's no way that's going to
happen I can't see that happening can
you see uh a city brand manager coming
in to manage Liverpool it just doesn't
doesn't makees sense to me maybe I'm
deluded I don't
know uh Thomas Tule nah not for me
because if we brought in Thomas tle it
just feels like we've got an inferior
version of what we had before that's how
I'd look at Tule coming in and
also I I I'm not overly fond of Thomas
tle really either I don't I've never
been able to take to the man
um you look at what's going on now at
Bayern Munich and some of his decisions
and situations there are very
strange um so Chris Williams writing on
Twitter said overriding feeling from
that press conference is the club have
already identified a replacement and
have been actively working on it uh
Hogan looked way way too relaxed for a
man who's got to now go out and find a
successor to the club's most popular
manager in modern
history I'm going to read that again
because I think that's from a journalist
who was there and he said the overriding
feeling from that press conference the
club have already identified a
replacement and have actively been
working on it Hogan looked way too relax
for a man who's got to now go out and
find a successor to the club's most
popular manager in modern history
I don't disagree with what Chris
Williams has said there I haven't
watched the press conference yet I've
only seen the quote because of course I
was live here with you guys and reading
out the quotes as they came in
but I I agree with Chris as much as none
of us have any information that we know
I do agree that would be my guess as
well uh speaking of tuul imagine he goes
to Liverpool and Club goes to buyer big
plot twist if that happens honestly I I
think there's more likelihood of klopp
taking the German job next
um obviously you're a German football
fan mate You' know better than me the
likelihood of Club managing Bayern I
don't know if he do that to the Dortmund
fans I truly don't but the German job
maybe after the Euros if Germany don't
do well maybe well look let me put it
this way I'd go as far as to say if clpp
said he wanted the Germany job it
doesn't matter who's in the job they're
getting the boo that's the and I look I
don't think klopp would ever want to get
anyone sacked but let me be honest about
it if you're the German fa and klopp
shows any indication or willingness that
he would be interested in that German
job then uh you're pretty much sharpish
moving on whoever's in the way let's be
frank seems mad but tho M my uh why not
he play with aggression like klopp um
look there's going to be some names that
maybe we don't initially think of off
the top of our heads but I I can't get
past Alonzo right now my own head that's
that's the guy for me CU he takes almost
every box there is a very
fair uh thought process about the
experience of Alonzo that's fair enough
you can't push back on that you know
he's he's got relatively short
experience but he does have a lot of
other things he has the connection with
the fans he does have the gravity task
and the pulling power and the stature in
World
football he handles himself really well
he's very smooth and
charismatic
so I would much rather take a risk on
him than another
young exciting hungry manager because
for me it's important to have the
connection
and Jurgen came in instantly and just
won everybody over with his humility
with his humor with his passion with his
energy and most importantly with his
football uh so yeah big shoes big shoes
and I'll take a brave person man or
woman most likely man but it'll take a
brave person to take the job as well
because whatever we say about the
positives and the squad and the stadium
and the training ground and all this
other stuff still a big big shoes to
fill and it's going to take a big
character to do
that Craig yes they gone to sleep but
never thought or believed if someone
told me the club would leave after the
season oh
Melvin again M I couldn't
have I would have given you a th to one
yesterday if you said to me Craig
klopp's going to leave tomorrow I'd have
given you a th to one odds and I laughed
at
you I didn't see you coming
uh Neil Jones reporting on Twitter said
I saw Jose Enrique who I like a lot say
it's about FSG I can tell you absolutely
FSG has nothing to do with it sorry if
you've already uh Connor said sorry if
you've already gone over that but again
I
I I've always told you guys and been
open about the fact I think Jose Enrique
is an arshole and is a hanger on and is
creepy in a kind of way um I'm not going
to say here and mince my words that's
what I think of him I I don't I don't
like him I'm very happy he's healthy and
well and I wish him a great life but to
see him on skyp talking about that
like if a YouTuber said that we'd be
skeptical and rightly
so I
don't I don't know why he did that
because for it to be pushed back upon so
quickly by journalists and Club it
almost feels like people are going out
of their way to make out like it isn't
about the owners um and I believe it I
believe it isn't I truly do because
whatever we all say about FSG and we all
have our own thoughts on them they have
always had that cordial respectful
relationship towards each other um
Jurgen and the ownership group even when
maybe Club wanted more money or wasn't
happy with the window you know and I I'm
not an FSG fan most of the time you guys
know that but I don't think this is
about them I I don't I don't get that
Vibe either I I think Enrique is just
trying
to force more relevancy again but I just
don't like the dude I just
don't uh I cried when Bobby left and I
cried today much love from the USA so
Christian thank you my man do you know
what may I'll be honest I haven't shared
any tears yet today because I haven't
had a chance to process it yet all I've
been in is in I guess work mode since
it's happened reaction mode trying to
get news opinions uh viewpoints and any
information that I
can uh Ben Michael deleted your message
I don't know what it was or whether it
was uh what it was about me but thanks
for the Super Chat anyway I don't know
what the message was
but I
guess whatever it was uh the mods deemed
it insensitive or something so I back my
mods as
always uh Craig don't know if you've
spoken about this but in 2019 klopp said
he quit if Liverpool owner to defoy in
the world
documentary and thank you for your Super
Chat skill gamer let me ask you
this cuz I think sometimes we as fans
can get a little
bit
uh
emotional put yourself in FSG shoes
right
now what's the upside of getting rid of
uran klopp to make a fly in the wall
documentary genuine question if you're
the what's the upside to it there isn't
one financially it wouldn't be the best
decision because what club can achieve
with a group would
have been worth more to
them it's just
yeah it's not that there's not upside to
it like
the you'd want to be an idiot for that
to be the for like Jurgen to come in and
go I don't want that documentary made
and them to go sorry urgen we're signing
it uh and he goes well I'm going to walk
and then you go okay we'll walk it's not
going to happen is it let's be honest
it's just not going to
happen and I think I I do remember what
what he said and I I remember
you know I I would say it almost
like it was an empty threat because we
all knew it wasn't going to happen that
you know it would be made against his
will and he'd walk U now look it is of
course weird timing that the
conversation came out last week or the
potential about but honestly nah FSG
would would rip up that contract for the
documentary and keep Jurgen if it was
down to that
decision uh it'll be so weird not seeing
klopp running off crazy on the sidelines
fighting for us next year it's not going
to hit me until the season's
over you know what gets me is that a lot
of people
who have been critical of Jurgen klopp
and his Antics and his impact and his
pressing of
referees are very been very revisionary
today and finally starting to understand
the magnitude of what he has done and
what he has achieved and what he has
brought to Liverpool and the league so I
see a lot of of journalists
today
um I don't want to say admitting what
klopp's done but acknowledging how
special his impact has been um which has
been nice to
see I get when you're in the heat of
battle you know we all hate each other's
managers and each other's players and
all this stuff but ultimately you see
the likes of Paul mer and other people
coming out it's a huge huge loss not
just for us of of course but for the
league um cuz klopp is you know klopp
Guardiola you're you know outside of
velotti then you're probably looking at
the best managers in the world being in
the Premier
League uh Lewis said hi Craig first time
being here wondered if you thought if a
manager like the Zerby or Alonzo are
able to fill the shoes of klopp they
haven't won a major trophy so it's a
fair point Lewis uh Lewis excuse me
and uh
I guess your mind immediately goes back
to the Brendan Rogers appointment but I
would say these guys are more polished
than Brendon Rogers was at that point
the club's in a better place um and I'm
going to be arrogant about this and say
Liverpool will have their pick of the
managers in the
world I I think that's fair to say that
because who's turning it down you know I
don't know anybody in a right mind who
turned down managing Liverpool Football
Club at this moment in time do you I
could imagine we're extremely attractive
proposition because like I said earlier
on it's very rare you get to come in and
follow a manager who hasn't [ __ ] to bed
usually you're coming in because a
manager's been terrible or assignments
haven't worked and results have been
awful and you're immediately coming in
to stop the rot rebuild confidence and
build the clubs back up that's not the
case with whoever takes over from uron
yes you've got big shoes to fill but
you're walking into a dressing room fill
full of brilliant players uh youthful
and
experienced who have muscle memory of
winning things and you know you can
never assume we'll win a trophy this
season but the odds are probably in our
favor that we'll win at least one and uh
that's attractive for anyone you know
it's not often it
happens uh ronic sha said why now
today's my 32nd birthday and here and
klopp going to leave just left me in
shock well happy birthday Rach first and
foremost my man uh but yeah it's it's a
shocking day all around mate isn't it
like a sad day
um I think I've gone through a few
emotions so far today from you know
bargaining as a trying to think well
will he change his mind if we win
trophies or is this really the end and
but then when you hear him speak with
honesty you think yeah it is the end um
and then I get into like anger of course
like everybody else about [ __ ] why now
why when we're looking to get back on
track and then you get into thinking
about the future and who it might
be Alonzo not the solution for the
long-term hilly from Madrid eventually
will he
though
like he has connections to m to
Liverpool to buyon I I agree with you on
all that
but one thing that I think you probably
get at Liverpool is a bit more stability
and certainly a bit more time than you
might get at a club like Real Madrid
maybe not a lot more because again
you're coming into a club that have been
challenging and that expectation will be
there to continue to challenge but you
know we've seen managers win League
titles with Real Madrid and get fired
because they didn't win the Champions
League
so
I think that Madrid job will be there
for him at any point in 10 15 years CU
as a manager his managerial career is
still very young and in its infancy so I
think he will have more opportunities at
big jobs again um if he takes Liverpool
one I wouldn't say that will rule him
out of ever managing a Madrid or a
Bayern uh Paul thank you mate as always
Paul from uh in gear Driving School said
I feel like I lost a family member my
wife hates football but loves Liverpool
because the klopp same as my wife my
wife was as glued to klopp's interview
on the TV as I was
um yeah just everyone just looking up
kind of listening to the sincerity come
from what juram was saying and you know
you see the people outside anfield as
well when Sky were there with the
cameras and foot the fans that they were
stopping on the street and chatting
to and I think it the ones they
interviewed encapsulated everything from
a respect right across the city of
Liverpool for klopp to a feeling like
one of our Mates is leaving to the end
of a dynasty you know every emotion was
summed
up are you scared for the future of
Liverpool I'm not
scared I'm anxious I'm
nervous
because the unknown and uncertainty is
always frightening in any Walk of Life
in any moment in life so I think we'll
probably feel a little bit better once
we know what the direction is the club
are going in
um and I can't say this enough but next
week is huge now next week is absolutely
massive the game's coming up against
Chelsea and
Arsenal because the narrative and the
view can change really quickly for a
couple of bad results here the blame
will immediately go to the decision
making the time with the announcement so
I think more than
ever we got to make sure we get results
in these games because that can't be the
conversation it's not no time to roll
over and give up now it's time to make
sure that nothing is left on the pitch
that everything is done to try and bring
success for this last year of uran club
and right now we're one of the few clubs
who can say it's on the table for us
still you know everything is in our own
hands one game for a cup final
um Premier League we're on top it's in
our own hands so let's wait and see what
the next few months brings but standards
won't be let drop in that dressing
room uh I personally think klopp's
leaving because of the owner of the club
I don't think so Yanik honestly I don't
um and I say this to somebody who's not
their bigest fan at
all but so I
don't how do I say this
sincerely I laugh I joke I talk crap I
banter people I wind them up I have
strong
opinions I get angry I can be
disrespectful all of these
things but I also know when to shut up
and when
to take things of face value from people
who deserve that and for me this is all
about respect today because I I value
nobody outside of my family more than
Juran and I haven't always agreed with
him I haven't agreed with a lot of his
decisions with regards to tactics and
changes and signings
but he
deserves he deserves us to believe what
he said he deserves us to believe his
reasoning he deserves us to
believe it was his decision and it was
his decision based off energy
and I think that's true and I want and I
think for me I have
to pair it back and you know be honest
about that he deserves
that uh the whole team need to put their
and souls into the rest of the
season um f said hi Craig I never
usually comment on anything align uh
here I have to that man has gone above
my wildest dreams in this and his time
with this club all the fans mocking us
for caring wish they were us you're damn
right F and um for somebody who doesn't
comment too much mate that's a powerful
wonderful comment and you're absolutely
right I see the [ __ ] and the idiots
in the chaff I see them coming in trying
to wind us up and banter us but they do
so from a position of fear and that is
the legacy of uran klopp that
is why we're back at the top table and
that is you know you don't do these
things you don't come in and mock like
that unless you're worried unless you're
fearful and and that's what club's done
for us so you let them say whatever they
want mate they as you've said they would
happily be in been in our position to
have had Juran and to have the the squad
urans built and thank you for your Super
Chat and for your comment
me uh what's
this so the atletic are saying Javy
Alonzo Roberto Derby and julan nman are
in the frame for the job again you know
early
days you would expect those names to be
mentioned and to be linked uh I wouldn't
read too much into that either you know
this is I guess the point where
journalists and all of us are just
trying
to put the picture together um but look
I F I agree with the names maybe narles
when I would you know I'd have my doubts
on but yeah rest of them exactly as we
all thought and
expected uh fun said klopp is my
childhood I turn 18 in May feels like
the end of a chapter in my life I love
him it's
it's you won't forget mate ever you know
whatever we think back at Liverpool
he's given us and I'm a 42y old man and
he's given me the best years of my life
supporting
Liverpool h heard some of the support
staff also announced Departures what do
you think of this do you think there's a
a couch with their or coach with their
own staff in mind so uh yes you are
right the support staff are leaving
don't know exactly all of them don't
know for instance what will happen with
atber or tafarel um or the goalkeeping
coaches I don't know there but pep
linders and and kravit and a few of the
others are leaving uh there was actually
a quote here from Billy Hogan let me
read it out to you uh where is
it bear with me one sec I want to make
sure I get you the right
quote where's that
one
um sorry I'm just trying to find the ray
quot from Billy Hogan cuz I don't want
to mince my words I get it
wrong where the [ __ ] is
it basically spoke about the fact that
um vtor M and linders and others will
want to move on and become managers
themselves and will have their own goals
and ambition to become managers uh oh
here it they said on the back room staff
leaving pep and vtor want to get going
in their managerial careers we
understood that
so that's probably why their departures
are going to be gone I don't think it's
like I don't I would look at it that
like kops left and everybody else has
just gone well that's it now there's
obviously a big bad reason why klopp
left we're all going with them I think
it's just the case of as you've said
Club may be looking it can bring in
their own guys new coaches maybe new um
philosophy of of how we play and they
want to change and do their own thing
so I think he's probably right and also
look linders is isn't that guy is he I
wouldn't be comfortable if Liverpool
made that decision for
him uh to be fair he deserved to go out
on his own terms but I think he had
another two years in him said mh10 I
think we all did m i mean I've got to be
honest I am
absolutely Gob smacked that he's not
going to see out his contract
because you know go back to the night he
signed it and when we did the stream it
felt like more than any signing of a
player
and I always imagine that that was it
because remember this would have been
the last season with klopp before he
signed the New Deal we would have been
saying goodbye to him at the end of this
summer which we are now doing so yeah to
have that
um to have that certainty with drawn
again understand it and respect klopp's
decision but certainly hits hard and
hits
different uh George kwin said got to say
as sad as I am glad to see go and I'm
glad he's leaving on a high rather than
now and how Wenger left Arsenal yeah I'm
with you on that
George it's right that it's on his terms
and it was his decision and you are
right man he's going out all guns
blazing which is good and he will only
ever be thought of in a fun positive
loving way there's no bad blood there's
no he he hung around too long yeah it's
a tough decision but it is his and as
you said he deserves
that do you think think Salah Trend van
djk would still
renew so I knew I was going to be asked
this question I'm going to answer it
honestly as I always do and please bear
in mind that as I answer this question
I'm answering it with guesswork because
I don't know the
answers but van djk I think he renews
Trent I think he renews Salah I don't
know I don't know what to think with
Salah
because I don't know if we look at this
as signal that maybe it's the right time
for him to end his time at Liverpool or
if he looks at it and
thinks he would mind two or three more
years with another manager with may be
another fresh thought
process all I will say on Sal I don't
think this
is a good thing for for the Salah
situation without knowing I'm my initial
instinct is to say he's the one of the
three that you've mentioned that I would
definitely feel the most
fear of
um no renewal yeah but that's just my
take and as I said it's just that it's
just trying to
guess what do you guys think on the
three renewals of ver of Van djk of
Trent and of uh Muhammad what do you
guys think
there uran deserves a statue interesting
you say that because Linda puty did um
like a comment on social media from
somebody who said just what you've said
there uh Salah doesn't renew the others
do in my opinion said Cody uh Trent will
be a one Club player future Liverpool
Captain said Malcolm Billington I agree
with you on that by the way
Malcolm um Trent stay Virgil go and
Salah go you really think Verge goes I
don't know man after being made Club
captain and with his standing in the
dressing room I always get the
impression that Verge is very settled at
Liverpool honestly I do maybe I'm wrong
but you know
I'm I'm kind of almost in no doubts The
Verge and Trend sign in my
head uh would he take jarard as manager
I tell you what I would do Lew
um fly out over to Saudi
Arabia find my way into Steven Gerard's
office find his passport and rip it up
and put it through a shredder and throw
it in the
bin so that he can't get over cuz
honestly my head would explode if
Stephen jard got the
job but I I don't believe the owners are
going to be that stupid because let's be
honest he does not deserve the job other
than the fact that his name is Steven
Gerard and he's a club Legend
that's that's be I I would lose my [ __ ]
if Steven Gerard got the job because it
would be the most
ludicrous stupid decision that they
would have made and they're not going to
make that decision they're not going to
be that
stupid uh why hasn't trans signed it
only has a year left well he's got a
little over a year left to be fair um
and look this was a situation that was
spoken about in the media quite a bit by
the journalist uh the club have every
intention of over the next couple of
months sitting down and getting those
deals sorted out for Trent and vers
before the summer and that's been widely
reported to be fair and again I don't I
don't think there's going to be a
problem there and if anything on the
back of the Yan Klo news today you'll
feel like the club will want to put out
a signal now and start to you know say
it is business as usual and we carry on
and you know signing Verge and Trent and
hopefully Mo to those new deals would
certainly give that signal to the fan
base and to the greater football world
that you know this isn't the breaking up
of Liverpool this is just unfortunately
Changing of the Guard moment with the
manager and look I'm not taking the job
but you know you you can beg me all you
want I'll be Alonzo's assistant fair
enough you know because Javi will need
um you'll need somebody with less hair
for the press conferences because let's
be honest there's too much beautiful
hair going home with Al
so we will need somebody there to kind
of I can be Alonzo's do you guys ever
watch Key and Peele so do you ever see
Luther um Barack Obama's um
anger uh translator I can be that for
Javi Alonzo if he wants I could be his
anger translator so I could say what
Javi really wants to
say um but that's as far as you get me
stop egging I'm not taking the job I'm
already under consideration for the
Irish job and that's that's obviously
What's Happening Here Jurgen is
obviously going to become the next
Republic of irand manager it's the only
thing that makes sense right
now is anchel available nope signed the
new deal at Real Madrid to 2026 if I'm
not
mistaken if City didn't exist we may
have four more titles than a vibrant
manager who wasn't burnt keeping up with
corruption I'm so proud but angry at
this
mostly so John I I'm sure over the
coming days and weeks mate I'm going to
get into that angle myself but today
today I'm being respectful of uran
because it's it's it's not a day and I'm
not accusing you of doing it John by the
way but yeah look I I'll have my say on
what impact I think that may have played
at some point because whil I don't
believe the owners are any part of the
reason why uran's gone
I
do I can see a world where yeah maybe
that that situation there has been one
that he just maybe just worn out
by uh this will be an easy out for
Guardiola now he's not going to have
klopp as a chenger from don't know I
mean what Guardiola does next not really
concerned about today at the minute to
be honest today it's about Jurgen and
um praising him and thanking him for
what he's done and
doing I still don't I can't believe I
still can't believe it's
real really I can't I cannot believe
it's
real
yeah I can't get my head around
this uh somewhere though do you know who
I am blaming on it and he's got no
reason but I [ __ ] Paul TIY you know I'm
I'm blaming him do you know what I get
here
pgmol any chance you could give us Paul
Tierney for klopp's last game please
very thank you cuz I I would pay good
money to see Jurgen Club really tell
Tierney last day of the
Season before he does his lap of honor
and his goodbyes to Liverpool fans I
would love to see him go through potery
for a short cut uh I would pay very good
money for that and I I would happily
contribute to was fine and I'm sure we
all would when he gets it because yeah
please just put Paul TIY in the middle
of not on Far don't hide the little we
weasel put him in the middle of the
pitch for the last game for uran
um yeah
I mean I'm sitting here now thinking
about zidan madarati you know those type
of uh
moments with the current Squad of
Liverpool best successor Club
hypothetically would be Andre Vish Bois
now would you stop would you get up get
up out of that Andre Vish Bois just
there's a name I haven't heard in a few
years uh Jurgen always said he would
honor his
contract I think he meant it though I
don't think he said
it I don't I don't feel like he's lied
to us I feel like he's genuinely had to
re-evaluate his energy levels and I
think he's been honest and I I think
he's
been honest about his own inability to
keep producing these energy and
this
uh this uran that we've come to know and
love and if he doesn't feel he can do it
justice he walks and have respect for
him rather than getting kicked or pushed
or half arsenate that's why we love him
because he's sincere and he's been
sincere in this and I think we have to
take that a face
value
uh Craig my electricity was out all day
so I've just found out the news in the
last hour or so absolutely devastated
after watching the interview I'm so glad
that jurer will always be a red
absolutely man
um I'm just wondering what we what what
we say goodbye with as in what the
trophies will be what the and like the
selfish part of me thinks you know the
idea of urgen signing off in Dublin with
the Europa
League in my home City and that being
his last game as Liverpool
manager um the selfish part of me would
love that to happen you know to see him
bow out in Dublin as well as look CU
he'll have his moment and anfield of
course he will but I'd love to see him
in Dublin the last competitive game for
Ur going to be to lift that trophy with
virge and um
complete the
set klopp versus teing in the box of
matx Craig love it to Jack out I know
where my money' be gone and it certainly
won't be on
Tierney uh will he quit managing all
together I don't think so um and to be
fair I don't think he's promised that
either he has said no Club no country no
job for a year he said no other English
job ever um and again all understandable
a year is a long time so if he takes a
year out spends time with his family
holidays
unwinds maybe he gets the bug again for
football wants to come back and manage
maybe the right job comes up for him
maybe International job at this point in
his life might be what he wants you know
not the daytoday hustle and bustle of
press conferences and you know being a
club manager maybe a bit more of
a bit more of a relaxed pace perhaps I
don't
know are we all agreeing Alonzo
replacing I think we we are I'd like
to right let me just get a poll real
quick and I don't want to put loads of
names in I'm just going to ask one one
second
okay right there we go simple question
should Alonzo be the next manager yes or
no I mean I don't want to throw it a
load of other names because this is the
one where my head and heart is um but
you know we all see football in
different ways and we all of like I I
can't sit here and ridicule anybody that
says he doesn't have enough experience
it's a fair question um but I don't know
if the perfect candidate exists you know
because we've always said if you went
into a factory and built a manager from
scratch You' probably come out looking
and acting very much like you're in
klopp uh which players do you think will
also go at the end of the season given
the news Well I feel mat tip's 100%
bye-bye Thiago 100% gone their
contractor up without klopp I don't see
Matthew getting extended
um still don't know what to think about
Mo honestly just don't have no idea what
way to feel think or have any
expectation of that
situation ker probably goes in the
summer um but that was nothing to do
with clop leaving um
it depends because like we also don't
know who the managers is and if the
manager comes in and feels like well
there's four players I think we can
replace or four players that I don't
think fit into the way I want to play
it's hard to even try to gauge who might
leave till we know what manager we're
getting and what the philosophy of
football is going to be and if the
players at the club are going to be able
to play the style of football but you
would imagine that these are all
decisions that the owners would make you
find somebody to complement the group
you
have uh Ed said so sad about this Craig
end of an era how about s for next
manager remember what I said about
Gerard in the
passport
uh I have a feeling Southgate would
be unavailable for
interview that's that's the right way
I'm saying
it um I'd probably stop watching
football if gett soate was the Liverpool
manager
um yeah I'd probably stop watching
Liverpool if I had to look at him and
his [ __ ] stupid waste coat and his
stupid philosophy on football and
his
head uh I think it's too early for Lonzo
Phil zidan what part of zidan and
Liverpool I don't get this suggestion of
zidan I don't get
it he's just not like he's not a
Liverpool manager he just
isn't that's before we even get into the
language barrier
or he's just nah it's just not he's not
a Liverpool manager he just is not that
guy he's never going to be zadan never
should be
zadan do I think klopp will ever come
back what do you mean by come back to
manage Liverpool again no come back to
the club as a guest for Stuff absolutely
um it'd be there for the unveiling of a
statue I'm
sure something about klopp leaving early
stinks to high heaven said gu
I get it look I understand how people
are confused looking for a reason behind
it looking maybe to find some one to
blame perhaps I don't know but I think
he's being
honest I think he's been I don't think
it's had to do with the owners I don't
think it's had to do with transfer
budgets I don't I think it is what the
man says it is that he is just unable to
fulfill the role to the level that he
knows he needs to with the energy
required
after nine years I I think it's fair and
honest
and extremely humble of uran to make
that realization
himself I wouldn't take anybody else
other than jabby said sir vinas um look
I'm not in the point where I wouldn't
say I wouldn't take anybody but jabby
Alonzo
but you know I do think it's Alonzo
desery big drop off some other
candidates for
me um but
look put it this
way FSG got it right when they named
Jurgen
klopp now we get to see if it was a
fluke or if they know what they're
at so let's wait and see what they do
you know they gave us Club they got that
right the rest is
history whatever the thought process and
decision making was
I would
imagine they won't be too far wrong with
it um and as I've said from the start of
this stream it is a very appealing job
and a very unusual circumstance for a
new manager that you're not coming into
a failing dressing room or a dressing
room that's uh full of disharmony or
anger or you're coming into a a club in
a great
spot probably after winning some
trophies with a great dressing room a
great group of players uh a biggest
capacity that anfield has ever been at a
new training ground you know there's a
lot there
to to take the boxes if you're in you're
a manager who wants a dream job if you
get off with Liverpool I I don't think
anybody is saying
no do you think the new manager will be
announced before the end of the season
at least United and Chelsea have tested
all the rubbish ones that we've gone for
said Bradley fricker um yes I do I think
it gets announced I don't know when I I
don't even want to try and guess a time
frame frame on it but yes before the
summer I
think I don't know how it gets broke
announced or leaked but yeah I do I look
I agree with this comment uh where was
it from journalist where was this
one one
second where the hell is that comment
gone
sorry I'm just reading through a few
things
here where was that one
gone uh where's Chris Bam's comment or
Chris Williams comment where the hell is
it
gone so many quotes here sorry I'm
trying to read back through all the
messages The Lads have sent
me
I don't know why they've disappeared
but where's the one on
there basically there was comments from
a couple of the journalists who were at
the pressor saying things like Billy
Hogan was way too relaxed for uh
somebody who is going to have to replace
a once in the generation
manager and I feel like that's probably
correct
Chris Williams said overriding feeling
from that press conference is the club
have already identified a replacement
and have been actively working on it
Hogan looked way too relaxed for a man
who's now got to go out and find a
successor to the club's most popular
manager and recent
history H jar Norton said lifelong
Arsenal fan went through this with
Wenger losing a generational manager is
really tough but the pool will be
fine yeah I mean I guess jar the
difference from the this perspective is
Ward did hang around too long right he
just did
um and I'm glad it hasn't happened that
way for klopp because it would be very
strange to see here and I don't know
I've often asked myself the question J
what would it take for me to say I want
Club gone and I never came up with the
answer and I'm just glad now I never
have to come up with the answer because
he's made that difficult decision for
everyone
um but I do agree we'll be fine j i I
agree with you on that mate and thank
you by the way for your comment your
Super Chat and your input uh bam said
murky thank you very much said so
devastated at least I hope jaby come
along and bring in one or two players
from lusen but nobody can replace klopp
I think he'll be
fine so I I'm going to be honest with
you if Alonzo came in and brought in a
few players from levero and
Whit depending on who they are I think
i' be a bit nervous because I I don't
want the 10 hag situation you know where
you're going to just get players you've
worked with before but if he arrives
with floran verts as an
example that that'll do
um but yeah it's God L it's scary times
uh the job's more attractive would ffp
impose said John
Williams
um another one from another is that a
different John Williams it is weirdly
enough h a sad day for Liverpool fans
and myself being a Liverpool fan I feel
there's more to this than we're being
told so to some extent yes I agree but I
don't think there is a Smoking Gun let's
say but I do
think so the the question I haven't been
able to answer yet is why today why why
the announcement today why not during
the time we had 11 days off why not
after the Arsenal game in Chelsea next
week
and all I can think of and it is 100% a
guess is that maybe there was win that
this was going to get leaked and they
had to get out ahead of it but even as I
said I'm
guessing uh murky said more precisely I
don't care who comes in I'm just
sad um I'm worried about the choice of
words running out of energy hope
everything is okay well he has confirmed
mate that he healthwise he is okay he
did confirm there's nothing wrong with
him so you know I understand exactly why
you're concerned for that but you know
thankfully he's healthy you know and it
it doesn't look like that like that
thankfully uh as a United fan I love
klopp and what he left behind Liverpool
I think he'll be fine said Peter thank
you Peter for your uh kindness towards
kloppo and for your your comment mate
appreciate you um thank you for your
Super Chat
Billy Hogan even said jurgen's video was
recorded last night that sounds
impromptu
huh yeah I I wonder like I don't know
maybe maybe it was going to be leaked or
I don't know maybe this was the planet I
really don't know why today
but I can't help but feel the timing
isn't right you know maybe I'm being
selfish but I can't I do you know I
don't know why
today uh this is what happens when you
don't back the manager that's not true
though Robert because there's no
indication from anyone
journalists anybody behind the scenes
nothing to suggest that it's having to
do with the owners and the money I I
truly believe him on that and as you
know mate I'm not fond of FSG for a lot
of reasons but I I don't think it is
down to that I
don't cuz remember he's just got backed
quite a bit in the summer you know we've
went out there brought in saslo brought
in Grafenberg brought in Endo brought in
mallister before that Darwin he's had
money recently so he got to rebuild the
team so I I don't think if he hadn't
done it last
summer maybe then I would have felt yeah
but not now I I three I think he's being
honest
uh conspiracy time they told the players
in the summer hendo left and was going
to Spill the Beans get after getting
pissed
off
uh I don't think that's the case
um yeah no I don't I don't think it
would have been kept that quiet if the
players knew in the summer H Jen thank
you for gifting a membership my friend
appreciate
you
um I prefer to hear from urgan now than
hear from a leak in a couple of weeks
absolutely it's on his terms and he's
earned that so that's a that's a
brilliant post and I agree with you it
is it's done on his terms in his words
and that's
deserved uh whatever way you C it we're
in for a whirlwind next year or two I
can see Roy Hudson type year coming in
oh no man don't be gone that
negative um we're I get you on the
Whirlwind part absolutely it's going to
be a lot of unknowns over the last uh
over the next year or so
but I I can't help but feel whoever
comes in and they will have to be
qualified for the job you we've got a
good group good group of players there
that will go along way so I don't think
we'll ever see a return to the Roy
Hudson days but who knows what next year
or next manager is going to look like
and how competitive we'll be I guess the
proof of the pudding will be in the
eatting on that
one Jen said how do you replace
uran I guess we're going to find out Jen
but it's not an enviable task for
somebody to to to fill those shoes or to
find somebody to fill those shoes
because I don't know how you get
measured or what the expect ancy is or
you know what the tolerance is
because we'll all be angry at CL for a
day over a result or a decision but
ultimately nobody ever there was a
couple of really foolish people who were
like clop out but most of us were
like you know he has enough credit in
the bank for last year for that season
he's earned the right for that uh so
yeah tough one H Rachel thank you for
gifting a membership as well let's have
a look at the poll where we said should
you have Alonzo jabbi Alonzo excuse me
be the next manager uh so far we're
almost at 1700 votes and it's
86% say yes Javi Alonzo should jabi
excuse me Alonzo should be the next
Liverpool
manager I would love jabby or an
personally
so if I gave you a three list I going to
give you three names varying in in lot
of ways Alonzo I've discussed
deserie I think has the credentials
because what he achieved at clubs
probably not at the highest level of
clubs he's been at but his consistency
of progression is impressive and his
brand of football's nice on the eye I
think POA kogu was probably unrealistic
because he's only at Spurs a wet day um
and as much as he's a Liverpool fan self
profess you know he's signed on for a
project and has a job but you know I
like those three names for different
reasons but I still keep going back to
Alonzo uh Craig we're forgetting these
players without Club may look very
different that's the biggest
worry uh yeah look I can't sit here why
hammer and say it's all going to be all
right but I also can't hear sit here and
say it's all going to fall
apart it's uncertain times and
uncertainty is
scary Ted lasso would be nice lacks The
Experience though yeah but he's good in
front of the camera mooki you know he's
he's got the
um he's got that experience hasn't he Mr
lasso might be crazy said Chris taton
thank you Chris for your super chat it
might be crazy Craig but do you think
Stevie G as an assistant to
uh stano uh alanso
no I don't want Stephen jarard anywhere
near Liverpool Football club's
managerial setup at all because all that
would happen is if JRA came in as part
of a recruitment or as part of a
recruitment system and jera came in
let's say is a number two to somebody if
the number one doesn't work immediately
everyone's going to go well get rid of
him and give Jared a run get rid of him
and that's not going to work it just so
not not for me again the other guy don't
know but I don't want Gerard anywhere
near the Reigns of the club at this time
he has a lot left to prove before he
gets anywhere near getting the Liverpool
job we can't fall into that trap of
Chelsea have with Lampard or that United
did with o Gunner solart no we can't be
that club we we need to learn from other
people's mistakes
there zidan is surely a showout no zadan
is ridiculous it's
just somebody anyone who says zadan to
me in my opinion is basically saying I
don't understand what Liverpool's
about because to manage Liverpool it's
got to be more than just be a good
manager you've got to buy you've got to
understand what makes the city tick what
makes the club what it is the values of
the club the people of the city and a
non-english-speaking
former Real Madrid manager
who has no Affinity
[Music]
or connection it it would just be so
wrong on every
level and again can't say this clearly
enough doesn't speak
English uh big said as I begin to come
to terms with the facts I'd be excited
about the future if we got
Alonzo Alonzo feels like a risk worth
taken to me like it's a risk it is
absolutely a risk cuz he doesn't have
the experience you know if you have a
managerial checklist
for
um everyone you know he takes a lot of
the boxes but he doesn't have the
experience tell me about Thomas tle uh
you not see my comment I am seeing your
comment but I'm also seeing the 150
other comments so you know I don't read
every single one because I don't have
the time to But to answer your question
on Thomas tle it would just feel to me
like we've got a [ __ ] a version of the
manager we
had uh without the
Charisma so no thank you to Thomas tle
I've never never been a fan of Thomas
Tule um yeah no not again doesn't strike
is a very Liverpool type
manager uh the new manager needs a
connection with the fans I think jabbi
as a former player with uh or an's
personality are the only two for me
again both for me will be a good fit on
every level you know both lacking
experience at top clubs in Europe at the
top level
but two personalities that would be a
good fit for the city and the the club I
feel Alonzo has the gravy Tas the
pulling power the
uh useful energy for the job as well and
certainly the credentials for style of
football that he's delivering at
Leverkusen deser is another good show I
can
absolutely see a world where that
happens and be okay with it um in my
mind if I'm being really honest I've
always kind of thought the Zerby was the
next Manchester City manager and waiting
but who
knows tell Frank thoughts really good
guy like him a lot just
not not what we need you know not what
we
need he's had a good club that fits him
H and he's a really likable guy but no
excuse me not for
us Andre's even more impr proven than
Alonzo that's not
true
you can say he's more unproven in Europe
but his CV speaks for itself and the
jobs he's had to get him to where he is
now and the style of football he's
played whether it be in Australia Japan
up in Scotland and now with Spurs so
he's more experienced but neither have
the top top level experience really
yet the irony by the way if let's paint
this picture for a
second it isn't announced let's say in I
don't know 6 8 weeks time let's just
humor me it's announced that Alonzo gets
the
job and the champion or the Europa
League final in Dublin is klopp versus
Alonzo I can see a world where that
happens I don't think it's too far out
of the Realms of possibility to uh
consider that as an option uh that it
might happen because Leverkusen are you
know a very good team and you know if we
ke are kept apart in the draw you never
know someone said Jai to teach Mo had to
take penalties Marty don't forget he
missed the penalty now he got the
rebound and scored but he missed the
penalty in istan buul in the in the
game uh I can't look past Alonzo we need
somebody who has his passion said Lisa
kin said Alonzo will absolutely give his
all to win that final as you would want
them to you
know yeah like you wouldn't expect
Alonzo not to put his team out there to
try and win it even if he was the
Liverpool manager in weitting you know
he's a
professional if Alonzo works out he
could be at the club for at least 15
years I I don't know
but look he's the he's the one for me I
don't have another name you know it's a
very distant second after
Alonzo where can we find a charismatic
Underdog manager that's won titles and
knows how to build squads and wants to
win
championships don't make me bring up my
FIFA streams again mate because I feel
like you're just describing me now
um let's wait and see what the club have
done I mean I agree with the journalists
who just say that it feels like there's
a process underway already and that
they've probably got a list of names and
they're
probably again if they found out in the
summer the owners I find it hard to
believe that there hasn't been work
going on in the background since to
identify the right profile or what what
they will ask for or look for in a new
manager even if it isn't getting to the
nitty-gritty of names yet I'm sure
they'll certainly spell out the
attributes
or you know what's required for the job
uh with you on that one Craig said Rock
the back room staff are also gone it
tells me something is lined up a few
months
time well not unusual for backro staffs
to go um sometimes they hang around and
then the new manager comes in looks
around makes a decision on one two or
three of them and then moves on but at
this time
you know Billy Hogan I said a couple of
them will want to go and you know carve
their own managerial careers out and
others I I look the goke keeping stuff
is interesting to me what happens with
arberg what happens with
tafarel that I haven't unless I've
missed it I don't think those names have
been mentioned
yet
uh uh oh gang M thank you for being a
member for four months Brighton's the
Zerby oh he should absolutely be under
consideration
even theer in his press conference today
when he was kind of asked about it said
and I'm
paraphrasing um he has a job with
Brighton till the end of the season or
his Focus was with Brighton till the end
of the campaign nobody looks like
they're ruling themselves out with this
to me you know Alonzo said he's got a
job focus on lusen blah blah blah end of
the season but again I don't see who
turns this job down if you
were if your phone r
and Billy Hogan or FSG on the end of it
and they want to talk to you about the
Liverpool job I mean I don't see who
says no to
that you know it's a it's it's a Once in
a-lifetime job especially the strength
of where the club is at as
well thoughts on Emory again great
manager but Villa are a very wealthy
Club behind the scenes with a project
and
um I think emry is going to want to see
a bit more time out there with Aston
Villa Alonzo and Milner o o Lee I could
get behind that mate I could get behind
that yeah oh I could get behind that yes
I
could Hy
flick I don't know I'm unsure on hansy
flick to be honest with you um and nlman
and tul I I don't know if it's just like
we've had the best German don't want
another German yet you know that kind of
way but they're not doing it for me it's
not appealing to me
um yeah not for me I feel
like I don't know look we've all got to
just wait and see but ultimately what we
know is that at the end of the season
uran's leaving what's
this uh got a a quick St in thank you
Mark most Liverpool appearances under
urgen klopp Allison Becker with uh 192
appearances then Joel matp 150 Virgil
Van djk 180 Robo
203 uh what's this for Trent
216 Genie waldum 179 hamz Milner 222
appearances uh Jordan hrit 219 s mané
196 Muhammad Salah 238 but the most
appear es is Mr Bobby firmino with
250 Liverpool appearances under Jurgen
klopp who Alonzo's number two in Germany
said Colin blackshaw H don't know sorry
Colin um I I don't know I'm being honest
I don't know the answer to
that uh why don't FSG get pep linders to
take over the first team pep linders
knows this team inside out I don't
understand FSG Alonzo needs time because
I think what Billy Hogan said uh sah was
that uh vtor and um linders want to
start their own managerial careers
and I don't think linders has the
gravitas or the pulling power to be
Liverpool manager I really don't I think
he's a great coach and I think I'm
interested to see how his own manager
career goes but yeah I don't see it look
I'm going to go ladies and gentlemen
because I'm going to be back on a half
