I know, it's already been a while since I made my last German vlog

it's a beautiful sunny Friday morning

the sun is shining so beautifully outside

it makes me so happy that its been such a nice summery weather here in Munich

since a couple of weeks already

and that of of course during quarantine is just beautiful

I have already gotten myself ready and I am on my way to the office

today I want to film a couple of videos for this channel

and also for Kia-Charlotta's channel

I also want to go grocery shopping, I would also like to go running

we also want to enjoy the weather on the balcony today. we have planned so much

I already know I am never going to manage EVERYTHING

probably, we'll see

but yeah, now I am going to go, I'm gonna show you what I am wearing today

because this is one of my absolute favourite dresses

because its such a nice summery weather outside today

I wanted to wear this dress

it's actually quite good because the length is awesome

it's like a "midi" dress so its not that short so that it won't be too cold

but also not too warm

and yeah, I really like it. I bought it from mango

I think last year around this time of year

and it was super affordable because it was on sale

it was one of the last one from this dress

and I just took it with me because I think its perfect

such a comfy but also chic dress

I really like it :D

before I go I am going to apply some hand cream

I have to apply hand cream a little bit "religiously" at the moment

because my hands are so dry from all this hand washing

this is the brand Alverde and this is for very dry skin/hands

and until now it feels really good

because before that I had a, hmmm...what would I call it...a "normal" hand cream

and this one feels just really good

it still absorbs very quickly AND it also smells good

I am at home again. For you it looks like I never left home

I was just at the office and did some packing. It was nothing exciting

and now I am hone and its quarter to one

and I am not super hungry because I had pretty big breakfast

I know I do want to eat a little something now

before I start working again

so I decided that I am going to make a salad today

and I still have some left over Falafel balls

and we also have a lot of asparagus and I love asparagus

so I thought I would make an "oriental" ....is that the right word?

not oriental...

anyway I thought I would make a salad with a tahini dressing

and the falafel balls

and yeah lets just see what else we have in our fridge

but yeah, I am excited

a little bit of something different. I havn't had this salad dressing too often

and lets do this together, right?

My food is ready

I eat " a lot". I always say that

I love food. I love eating healthy

and I am definitely not on a diet or anything

for me its always important to feel full and satisfied

and that I don't feel hungry

because only like that can I fully concentrate when I work

or when I do anything, do sports

that's how I keep life fun and good

and honestly speaking after eating I often feel like I could take a little nap

I did still make me a coffee

and what I am going to do now is work a little

and I do still need to film a video today

I decided that I would only film one video today

and that's going to be for our company for Kia-Charlotta

It still needs a little bit of preparation

so I am ging to do that preparation now

that I am going to film it

that I think I will still be good on time that I can still go grocery shopping

maybe still do something for work

and maybe even still go running

before we enjoy a nice evening together with Alex

so that would be the plan

I always think its also interesting for you to know what a day looks like

I've already had this watch for a while

and I use it every single day

and I love the watch, it's just the right one for me

classic with a minimal design

So I was just grocery shopping

as you can perhaps see. Although I have to say, it felt like much more as it actually was

but I thought I don't want to show everything I bought

because its way too much. Although I have to say, it felt like way more as it actually was

because I had three big and full bags

I thought I bought so much but actually I just bought what was on my list

and it should always be enough so that I wouldn't have to go shopping again on the weekend

but what I wanted to talk to you about now is a documentary recommendation

and it's called a plastic ocean

we watch this week with Alex. Everyday a little bit

and it was a very interesting documentary

and I know that by now most of us probably already know that plastic is not a very good thing for our environment

especially these, in English its called single use plastic,

so one time plastic or one way plastic, however you would call that in German

and the documentary was very interesting because it gave a little bit of a better understanding

and shows you or us just how much plastic there is in our oceans

and its much more than just these plastic bags or plastic bottles or plastic whatever

the big elements that are in our oceans

but its also all the microplastic particles which are also in our oceans

which we really can't see with our eyes

and that was just unbelievable for us.

again, we of course already knew this to some extent

sometimes things are just not as consciously in your mind until you really inform yourself about it

we did say that we should absolutely try to buy less things with single use plastic

that's since this weeks and honestly I know that its not going to be that easy

also because I am already now, like I was now in three different stores to just get what I need

because every store has something else that I need

and the other one doesn't have it, etc

its just already a little complicated

and than now with all the vegetables

is just more difficult like here for example

we love strawberring and we wanted strawberries

and we bought some and its always really strange to have organic strawberries wrapped in plastic

yeah, obviously the best option would be to stop buying strawberries (if packed in plastic)

yeah, we have to really think about how far we can go

if we would just stop buying e.g. strawberries

or also for example mushrooms. Mushroom you can definitely get without plastic from the organic supermarket

but this time we didn't go to the organic supermarket when we needed mushrooms

I actually wanted to buy strawberries from the organic supermarket yesterday (because they usually don#t wrap things in plastic)

but they didn't have any

its not that simple/easy

and its actually crazy what a complicated task it is to buy singly use plastic free

I should absolutely be much easier

there is nowhere where you can just "throw plastic away"

in the end of the day it is and will stay on our earth

I know we will probably never be perfect in this area

we are currently very far away from perfect

when it comes to plastic

but you can always try to do your best

and to try and improve yourself

and I think that's the most important mindset

when it comes to this topic
